Current I need to stop trying to get back into role-playing right before having a baby. I should know better by now. A lot better, but afraid to start new stories because I keep unintentionally ghosting.

Finally recovered from postpartum depression and ready to get back to being creative! My apologies to anyone I ghosted in my time of trial. I didn't understand what I was doing.

Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 15 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

A fresh newleaf day was dawning brilliantly in the eastern sky, coloring the normally blue canvas with splashes of pink and orange. The first hints of golden light had just begun to spill over into what cats called the main camp and home of CragClan when their current leader, Robinstar, stepped out of her den in the leader's tree, the only such plant that had managed to grow in the mountain hollow. She rubbed her lithe body against The edge of the opening that had been formed generations ago, scratching an itch beneath her pale pelt before enjoying a limb shaking stretch, briefly digging her front claws into the wood of the tree branch beneath her. Yawn splitting her muzzle for a moment before the she cat shook out her fur, Robinstar slid into a seated position as her blue gaze swept over camp, watching the first of her clanmates stir.

A tiny spot of orange and white was streaking across the open space in front of the nursery cave, obviously attempting to make a break for a bit of adventure, but a black and silver she cat was in hot pursuit of the escapee. Robinstar released a mmrow of amusement at the sight of Eagleleap chasing down the excitable, and rather slippery, kit Poppykit. Nearby, a sleek dark orange and cream tom was just stepping out of the warrior's den, releasing a wide yawn before going after an itch behind one of his ears. Poppykit streaked beneath Silverleaf's Front legs as the warrior was doing this, startling him to release a soft yowl.

"oh, sorry Silverleaf! Poppykit! Get back here you naughty kit," Eagleleap's clear voice rang out, obviously exasperated.

Another warrior, clearly having just been woken up, poked his head out of the den next to Silverleaf, looking curious and a little annoyed. When he spotted the bicolored kit scampering away with Eagleleap right on her tail, Birchwhisker couldn't help but give a heavy sigh before joining in the Chase, his tail streaming out behind him.

Giving her head a brief shake, whiskers twitching with amusement, Robinstar maneuvered her way down from the leader's tree, landing nimbly on the ground before making her way over to Silverleaf. "That kit is going to make an excellent warrior one day," she meowed, drawing the attention of the russet tom.

"She most certainly has the energy for it," Silverleaf huffed, giving his long tail several flicks. Sighing a moment later, he blinked at his leader with evident curiosity. “You’re up rather early. Did Stagthorn rope you into Dawn patrol too?”

Whiskers twitching as she squinted her eyes with humor at the teasing tone she detected in Silverleaf’s words, Robinstar shook her head. “Believe it or not, there are some cats who enjoy getting up early,” she meowed in reply.

“I’d rather get the sleep thanks,” Silverleaf responded dryly, yawning once more before touching his nose briefly to his sister’s ear and padding off towards the camp entrance.

Giving her head a resigned shake, though her expression was full of gentle adoration, Robinstar watched a relieved looking Eagleleap making her way across the camp towards the nursery, Birchwhisker trotting behind her with a resigned looking Poppykit dangling from his jaws, before she headed off in search of her deputy, hoping to have a word with him.
Lips turning up at the corners in an appreciative smile at his own humor, Branna took The proffered hand into her own. Or at least, she would have, if the man‘s hand hadn’t been so much bigger than hers. Placing her hand in his instead, she did her best to apply pressure to his palm with her fingers and made an effort to move her own arm in the handshake. She was used to feeling short and small around other people all the time, but this man had her feeling like she was a child again. A very small child.

“Othen,” she repeated politely as she took the seat across from him at the table and dropped her bags at her feet. “ pleasure to make your acquaintance.“ As she then unclasped her cloak and draped it over the chair behind her, she then offered her own name. “I’m Branna.”

One of the serving girls approach the table at that point, curtsying politely as she placed a bowl of stew, a loaf of bread, and a flagon of water on the table in front of Branna, mumbling a quiet apology under her breath before hurrying away again. Sighing saufley to herself as she watched the girl rush off, Branna then simply gave her head a small shake before picking up the loaf of bread and tearing a piece free. Dipping One end into the stew, she then transferred the bite into her mouth, almost releasing a moan of pleasure as the flavor hit her tongue. Restraining her self as to not start snarfing down her food as quickly as she could get it into her mouth, Branna posed a question to her table companion, though she wasn’t long in tearing off another piece of bread. “So, Othen, what brings you to Eversong?” She was positive she had never seen him around the city before. Someone of his size just stood out that way, she was sure she would remember if she had spotted him in the past.
With his wound slowly healing itself closed on his thigh, Joshua’s limp was lessening with each passing mile of shadowy forest. Mouth open in a steady pant as he slowly trotted in a wide arc that would take him back to the scene where the fighting had started, the russet werewolf kept his ears perked for any hint of another’s approach, friend or foe, and tried to keep the thoughts of that night’s strange events firmly at the back of his mind. Hopping over a shallow stream, he paused as the soft padding of paws sounded to his left, his golden eyes immediately focusing on the approach of a figure through the trees. He had a moment to feel relief add the recognition of a fellow packmate before his insides felt like they were shriveling up as he recognized the other werewolf.

Hale’s greeting was a low growl, though Joshua didn’t rise to the bait of his alpha this time. Instead, he lowered his head submissively, tucking his tail between his legs and releasing a short huff at the grey wolf. Hale eyed him incredulously for a moment before snorting, baring his large fangs briefly before indicating with a sweep of his tail for Joshua to fall in behind him, turning and heading into the trees himself. Grateful for the lack of an attack, Joshua followed after the other wolf, curling a lip at his back, But otherwise suppressed his rebellious nature.

Together, they made their way back to the path, pausing together at the edge of the dirt trail to survey the quiet scene. A few bodies could be seen strewn about, a badly savaged human that was clearly dead, the booted foot of a hunter half concealed behind a bush, and the limp body of an unfortunate werewolf. Hale strode over to the wolf, investigating the dark fur with several quick sniffs. His lips lifted away from his teeth as rage lit his eyes. He then tilted back his head and howled. Joshua felt the call to the pack sing through his blood and he instinctively answered with a return howl. In the distance, he heard others return the call too, heard The swish of foliage as several large bodies began moving in their direction. He blinked briefly towards Hale before stepping back into the trees, edging himself away from the path. If any hunters were on a return trip, they would be sure to come back this way, and he didn’t want to be compelled into yet another fight. Sinking down onto his belly, Joshua sighed, Waiting patiently to see who would return first: the wolves or the hunters.
@W0lf d3m0n@sassy1085 As soon as your characters are finished, I’ll take a quick look over them and then actually get things started with the role-play. From what I’ve seen, your characters look good so far, so I’m pretty confident they will be accepted. :)

@Shadow Dragon Don’t Forget to submit a character sheet for your own cat! I wouldn’t want you to get left out when the story starts!
@Jasper19

Your character is officially excepted! I forgot to mention this yesterday. Feel free to move him over to the character page. :)
Oh, yes! I like him very much! He sounds very interesting! Accepted! Feel free to move him officially over to the character section.
Put him here first so that I can look over him. If everything looks good, you are than welcome to move everything over to the character section. :3

Also, I am making the executive decision that we shall be CragClan, since there wasn’t much in the way of opinions being offered. I’m working on a description of camp, territory, and putting together some rules and what not. Expect that to be up soon.
We still haven’t started the story and would love to have more people come join in the planning! :D
@kittyboy

Hi Evan! Thank you so much for wanting to join! That makes me excited! You are more than welcome to create a character for the deputy, for sure! :)
@AmpharosBoy

Aww, sorry to hear that Amp! It was Nice to meet you though. Your character sheets were wonderful, by the way. You’re welcome to come back if you change your mind.
