History:James discovered his powers when he was around 7 years old. His family had just come back from a vacation to the beach. So of course, everyone was terrified when James suddenly disappeared, and then reappeared claiming to have "gone back to the beach". His parents, terrified for their son, urged him to hide his mutation. So James, hid his power from everyone, though he would still occasionally teleport somewhere when he got emotional. This all came to a head when at a party in his senior year of high school, James was utterly humiliated. He than teleported home, in front of his entire class. The neighborhood was far less understanding than his parents. Forced into hiding, James lived on his own for about a year, until he heard about the Institute. In his desperation, James made his way there, hoping for shelter.
Appearance:James is 5'8", and rather slim. He has medium length, straight hair. He also has hazel eyes, which seem to glow moments before he teleports. He tends to where a t-shirt, jeans, and a light black jacket.
Powers:James is able to instantly teleport. All he has to do is focus on the location he wants to visit, and he's there. While he his effectively unhindered by distance, James still has to focus harder the farther away the destination is. Also, while pictures of the destination help him focus, he must have an idea where the destination is relative to him. Lastly, James can bring anything or anyone he is holding with him when he teleports.
Personality:After the terror that was James's high school years, he's become rather reserved. Preferring to blend into the background rather then be noticed, James only really opens up to the few who become close to him. Despite his seeming social detachment, James can become very passionate and driven. Still, despite how far he may be willing to go to do something, he will rarely ask for help.
