Hey just wondering if anyone would be interested in participating in a new pokemon rp. Just a basic one where id have you all travel thru a region and collect badges/etc and i act like the gm. If your interest is piqued, go ahead and post below and be sure to include any questions or concerns you have and also which region you’d like this rp to take place in!

POKEMON: Trainer Diaries

“Dear ____, after reviewing your letter, I’ve decided to entrust you with this regions Pokedex. What you do with it is up to you, but please feel free to contact me anytime. Good luck on your journey!"
--Professor _____

The world of Pokemon is about as chipper as one can get. Unfortunately, the number of dedicated trainers has decreased over the years as people have started to favor more stable, white collar positions in the workfield. This is where YOU come in. The researchers at _____ Laboratory have decided to start a giveaway to help stimulate trainer activity in the region. And the winners? They get their very own Pokedex, free supply of Pokeballs at any Pokemart, free nights at any Pokecenter, and even free storage of any Pokemon caught along their journey!

I think that covers just about everything! This rp will be taking place in an AU where certain things may differ from the canon series. Don’t be expecting anything TOO outlandish, as I’d like to keep this rp more laid back and in the players control. This is my first time gming (and rping in general lol) in a couple years, but I’m ready to get back in the swing of things. If you have any concerns, please feel free to leave them below and I’ll try to answer as timely as possible.
Everything had happened so quickly. The mist overtook the entire warehouse and cries of pain could be heard under the fog. Themas instincts told her to run for the nearest exit while she could, so that’s exactly what she did. As she ran, the humidity of the steam emitting from the two elementals had Themas powers overreacting. Every step resulted in a spurt of foliage. They wiggled and clawed for life, latching onto anything near. Anyone who witnessed the warehouse must have thought it was a madhouse. Luckily, Thema made it out in one piece without a scratch. As she grouped with the others, she noticed something was amiss. “Wheres Gilfred?”
that was such a bad post im so sorry lmao its just that there was so much to respond to that i didnt really feel like doing it :p now that thats out of the way though im gonna try to focus on posting more regularly!!
Calming herself, Thema introduced herself to Yahtzee. She was still weary of the situation, but grew more at ease with the passing words. Gilfreds explanation made logical sense and he hadn’t given her a reason to untrust him. She spent the rest of her time at the haven trying to ease her mental state, not paying attention to much of her surroundings.

When the group decided to leave for a warehouse, Thema was unsure whether to follow or not. Gilfred allied with them though, but would blindly following in his shadows be the right course of action?

As she and the others entered the warehouse, soldiers crashed through the windows and surrounded them. Apparently, they had been sabotaged by the newbie. She didn’t even know him and he used her in her weakest state. As they prepared for battle, Thema clutched at her vial of seeds, ready to attack.

"Look psycho, I can't remember your name right which might have something to do with being woken up but leave me alone!"

Psycho!? Had it all been a dream? Had last night even happened? Thema was now questioning her own sanity along with the others now.

As his familiar huffed a breath of smoke at the plant mage, she took a step back, not wanting to get burned by the heat. Once the duo was out of sight, Thema squatted on the ground and placed her hands atop her head. How did she get back at the Haven? Where was GIlfred? Who was that man? She had no answers to any of her questions, leaving her to feel helpless in her current situation.

Rubbing her eyes, she could feel tears beginning to form. The plants that sprouted around her offered only a minor dose of consolation. By now, her vision was finally adjusting to the darkness. It was then she saw another figure approach her. The lush flora shifted slightly towards the foreign being, a low hiss seemed to escape a few.

"Hey, Thema. How are you feeling? Gilfred brought you here last night after you healed him, you were sleeping pretty heavy. Yahtzee's a little flustered outside, can you tell me what happened?"

“…Cora?” Now she was really questioning her sanity. Oddly enough, her story added up. But could she really trust her? After all, it was her who ran away and pretty much caused the collapse of the hygrons. “Wheres Gilfred? And who was that man?” she asked, trying her best to conceal her shaking voice. She stood up and loosened her body language, though her plants still stood in their defensive position. The bottom of the growth teemed with life with the tangle of roots almost shaking the earth around her.

"What is going on?"

Like a switch, the defensive flora immediately took a neutral position. Though vines escaped the thicket, they slithered in a curious manner rather than an intimidating one. Thema turned towards the voice, finally able to receive one of the answers she had been searching for. It was Gilfred who now stood before her. She tried to speak, but her voice trailed off. “Last night, I…” pausing, she began to inquire yet another question. This one was more soft spoken than the others. “How did we get here?”
