@Lionhearted@HushedWhispers Sorry for the late reply, he is apart of the Voodoo Coven, unless you needed someone to fill the lone warlock role.

Konohagakure Shinobi | Stormy Chunin | Young Blade

TIME: Present Day - Afternoon | Location: Sunagakure - Outskirts | Interacting With: Sakana Uragiri@Odin Shizuka Ichimi@Syn Kamui Uzumaki@Spanner

Date had never met any of the ninja before him but they obliviously knew each other. The already established tension in the group was even more so now that this little tussle has happened between their appointed leaders. All he could do was smile and sigh; smile at the introductions and sigh at the conflict. Most of the teams he was on before got along fine and simply prioritized the mission above all else and that would be even more important now, they where going into another village to fight some strong enemies. Date would have much rather preferred the bickering and snide comments to be phased out on the journey to the Sunagakure so that by the time they got there the distraction would be hopefully be dead and gone. He did wonder though, what was the whole runaway business? Did Shizuka really leave his team in a fight like that? Even Date, although reluctant, was willing to help the barrier-nin and not leave him to die, but he could not jump to conclusions. Their Hokage would have not made him a Jonin or put him on such an important mission if he really did something wrong, all Date could do was swallow his curiosity and put his faith in his complicated team. "This should be fun." Date whispered with a sly smile.

As they set out Date's thoughts wondered to Sakana, the seal on his chest was no joke and when he showed it in such a bold manner Date's hand twitched on his sword. What reason could anyone have to use such a thing, from his knowledge it was as last resort, a final ending, the closing to an act, something an old man would wear with pride not someone just as old as he was. Then there was the lazy looking Uzumaki, but what could Date expect he did not know these people just as much as they did not know him and all he could do was feel them out and hopefully make some friends. Date was at the back of the formation as the traveled around Amegakure and into the Sunagakure, he saw the strength Jaakuna had from a simple clone so he wondered what power their new foes possessed.

When they arrived in the desert, and boy was it a desert heat and all, the Sunagakure was surrounded by a sand storm. This would have been a problem was it not for the giant Lion that came and scolded them on their tardiness and gave them the secret to get past the storm. "We had a lot of bonding to get done sorry for the lateness." he said once he deemed the lion not to be a foe, and proceed to make the hand sign and walk through the storm unharmed.

Inside the city compared to the outside was like night and day, the calm simple desert was nothing like the smoke screened, flooded oasis that was the Sunagakure. The first thing he noticed was some black figures standing atop certain building and then the Kage mansion at the center of the village was hosting a fight between the Kazekage and an assailant. The smoke that shrouded the village was filled with chakra and was being controlled, Date just assumed that the cloaked men were responsible. He removed the sword from his back and strapped it to his side, ready to move and for combat. That water would be a great advantage for his lighting and water chakra types, even his storm could be put to good use in this climate. While they waited for Kamui's report, Date listens to Shizuka talk about his abilities and growing up here. "I am with you compadre, getting around quietly would be nice plus it will give us the jump on those guys." Date said to Shizuka with a friendly smile while gesturing to the figures on top of the different buildings, might as well start with the easiest looking of the three, plus from the looks he got earlier he needs a friend. "If they are clones controlling the smoke we should handle them first, the Kazekage got her position for a reason right? Plus we might just get in her way while trying to help, we should focus on securing the village and stop the one responsible for this smoke." Date said confidently but not abrasively or in a demanding tone, it was more of a confident suggestion. He had no desire to get caught up in another fight between a kage and some criminal, she was given her position for a reason and could handle herself.

Iwagakure | Chūnin | Tsuchigumo

TIME: Present Day-Evening | Location: Iwagakure | Interacting With: Chise Bakuhatsu @ZeroXposure, Koma Hitsugi @GlitchyBugger

Eishi was laying down on a large web that was built between 4 different buildings, it was about 15 meters off the ground and the pink silk was thick enough that it could be easily seen by anyone. This particular spider had been wasting the day way building this web and bathing in the sun instead of doing any missions or mourning for the leaf. Eishi did not particularly care that the leaf was attacked or that the Hokage died. The boy new it was a tragic thing for some but he did not understand why people mourned for a man who was doing his job, what better way for a kage to die then protecting his village. From what he heard the former kage did not even do much of that in his final moments, the Konohagakure was still partially destroyed, not that Eishi had much faith in his own kage, he did not really have faith in anyone for that matter.

The time following the funeral and the return of his fellow shinobi was a quiet one, he continued to practice his trade and walk around his mother. He did not really care about not being choose to go to the Jōnin Exams, if someone felt that he was not ready then that must have been the truth, but the next Jōnin Exams should be waiting for the arrival of the spider. Even though the village was quiet it was tense, everyone was worried about being attacked but was that not that the point of having this whole hidden village in the first place. It was their duty to bear the ugliness of the world outside the Land of Earth and being attacked is a given when you take up that job. Eishi did not get a lot of people's feelings and customs, they went against many things he thought where true and just confused him to no end. Instead he choose to ignore them all together. He was raised to be a blank canvas not worthy of paint whose only desire was to grow stronger, but now he had a desire to grow strong enough to get away from her.

When he opened his eyes again the sun was going down and it was evening now, the only thing that was different was the tension in the air. Then came the flood that washed away a lot of the buildings, one of which was acting as foundation for Eishi's web, and caused the boy to quickly scale the wall of a tall building to avoid being swept with the current. From the top of the building he could tell the village as under attack, and this spurred him to turn on his radio back on: "Evacuating civilians are under attack, anyone who can help them, do so. Engaging the enemy from range, might need close-range support." He knew the voice but not the name it belonged too, but that did to matter at the moment, all that mattered was seeing if he could help.

From the building he could see the rain of steel and began to move in that direction. As he got closer the screams of civilians could be heard all over and it seemed they were evacuating but not not correctly, some of the villagers got impaled on the way out. Sure you could say that is not their fault but still at least attempt to not get impaled that just makes the situation harder for everyone. Now he had to jump from the building and save a small family of 4 from this dangerous rain. Using his saliva as a medium he spat out a wall of Supaidāgamu, the pink sticky wall would harden immediately and stop the four blades. It was as wide as the 5 of them and as tall as Eishi. "Please avoid this dangerous rain, dying like the others is a problem." Eishi said to the 4 of them before rushing over to Chise and standing behind her boulder. "Well...Hello, I am Eishi. Pleasure to meet you, while I am not a medical ninja I can help you move them." Eishi said to Chise in a calm voice while scratching the back of his head awkwardly. Human interaction was not his forte, and this was the reason he preferred spiders to people. Did he introduce himself properly? Was this even the right time? What if she thought he was weird? So many questions and the civilian screams did not give him any time to answer them. He quickly bit his thumb and summoned Jo, the spider was a whole foot taller than him and a little bit bigger then her boulder. Eishi nodded at the wounded civilians and Jo instantly new to move them from harm, using his god given silk he shot web after web pulling 5 people near by out of harms way. The civilians were badly wounded and without medical attention would surly die, but in Eishi's mind that is what happens when you let yourself get stabbed.

"We can move them sure, but if we do not deal with the one responsible then there is no point." Eishi said while pointing to the old man atop the tallest building. He was the source of the weapon filled rain and the reason people were getting hurt.

The earth technique was one she had seen before, and figuring out which side the foxes would appear on was easy enough. She would respond accordingly and dance with the foxes, making them the first few ritual sacrifices of the night would not be so bad. But still, Akuno sighed at the pacts attempt to pin her between a rock and a hard place. But was still not satisfied, she wanted to see the blood thirstiness that lies with in each of us, not some motherly advances.

Akuno reacted quickly, making the tiger seal and creating 3 shadow cones on all sides of her. The two clones on the left and right faced the direction she assumed the foxes would come from. The first clone would appear behind her and leap a few feet away form the scene to be and began drawing the mark of Jashin on the ground using her chalk with her in the middle. This was in preparation for her ritual, and these foxes would be her first sacrifices of the night. The two clones would face forward on the left and right side of Akuno, and await the fangs from the pack.

Akuno would remain between the two clones standing only 3 feet from each, she primed her scythe with wind chakra and cut in the "X" formation to let of another 1000 Cuts. The two jutsu would clash and the initial gale of wind would stop the water while the compressed wind that followed would counter the lighting. Akuno followed that with the bird seal and aimed the air bullets at Ishi . The jutsu clashing caused her heart to beat a little bit faster and gave Akuno hope that the she might see the kage's beast within.

Konohagakure Shinobi | Sharp Chunin | Young Blade

TIME: A week after the funeral | Location: Konohagakure - Uzumaki Clan's Compound--> Kiku Kurama's House --> Date's House | Interacting With: Sakana Uragiri@Odin Shizuka Ichimi@Syn Kamui Uzumaki@Spanner

After the funeral, Date returned to his clan home, to the sound of metal hitting metal, the smell of fire, iron, and burring wood. His father was concerned but knew from past experience how to act, so he did not try console his son he simply handed him a hammer and told him to get to work. For the past week, Date has been helping with orders and practicing his kenjutsu, not really thinking about the past or worrying about the future. He was intent on training hard to be better prepared especially since there is chance he might meet the old man or that sly fox again. He did not want to be at such a disadvantage, the feeling of having your life put in jeopardy just by a simple look is not one he wants to covet. His kenjutsu was coming along normally, the Watari compound had an amazing dojo (considering their profession) and an out door training ground. His father was a wealthy man even after the war and the move, so he made sure their new main branch home wold match their worth as a clan.

The attack did not rattle things here to much, the compound was intact and orders still came in, his brothers and sisters were still living and he still had his sword. His mentor/sensei was wounded in that attack but that did not stop the older jonin from visiting even staying with them for a day. It was good for Date because he did not need to stop training, in fact he needed to intensify it. What many have not noticed was his inner anger with himself, his village was not just attacked, but at the funeral his pride and ego suffered a blow. No mater what it may have been, the exam was still an exam and he did not put his best foot forward. It showed if his new Hokage could still pick up on things he was lacking. At the end of the day the only thing hurt was his pride and ego, but that comes with any failure.

The revelation from that our new kage was a twin parallel to the old is shocking at best, even his father was at lost of words. When they left the funeral, questions were still unanswered but he and his clan could do nothing but back the new Hokage and wish him the best. It was still a interesting development and one to watch, especially since he was worthy enough to be put on one of the response teams.

A week late there was a knock on on his door, Date went to answer and wasn't surprised to see the newly appointed jonin at his door, Sakana Uragiri, and Shizuka Ichimi. He knew about his up coming mission and was readily packed and waiting for the call to be made. This was that call and he answered in suit, he simply shook his head in acknowledgement, then grabed his small bag full of ninja tools, Howaitosupāku off the wall and stepped outside with the rest of the team. This squad was filled with blank faces and he only knew two of them by name, Date set a goal to make sure he knew everyone's name before the mission was over and at least something about them. "I am ready whenever you are." He said to the others with a simple smile, no warmth, no overt kindness, it was just a blank gesture. One that was solely meant to signal his readiness to leave and do what was required of him.

The silence of the music would signal the entrance of the leading lady of the show. Akuno was only a building away but with her partner being interrupted, she could be seen easier in her black cloak and mask. She honestly felt childish in the get up, for Lord Jashin did not require such things in his faith, he actually wanted less clothing. This made it easier to seduce those into death's embrace, but alas she had become a team player and when you played on a team you had to wear their uniform.

The Kazekage stood at the front of her mansion with what looked to be a pack of hounds at her side. It was a simple enough slip in behind her and stand opposite to her and the pact on the buildings roof. To Akuno's surprise it was not hounds but foxes, all this did was cause her to shake her head in general disinterest. Lord Jashin did not require you have such things as companionship, that was just another knot in the endless web of lies that life gave people, and Akuno was a loyal blade sent to rip these knots to shreds and free those bound by them.

"Now that is just harsh, cowards would have run but here I stand ready to receive you. Sticks and stones Ishi sticks and stones." Akuno said as she pointed her scythe at the woman in front of her. In the eyes of Jashin she was nothing but a woman waiting to be relived of her cures. She was not Madam Kazekage Ishi Kakumei like her file said, she wasn't even Ishi, just woman, Akuno cared not for what she did only that the little heart in her chest still beats and with every beat it calls to stop the endless torture. With her mood set, Akuno slashed Kurushimi in her "X" pattern and a second later the gale of compressed wind would follow aimed directly at the woman, her "1000 Cuts" would surely be a nice opening line to the last show Ishi would ever put on.

Watching her partner disappear though the wall of wind surround the Sunagakure, Akuno quickly followed. The village itself was a oasis in the desert and did not match the harsh living beyond the fierce gales surrounding it. Akuno took note of the quiet as she snuck in and waited for some signal that the assault had begun. Quiet frankly she had not been this excited in a long time, most of her recent sacrifices had not been as grand as this one, even thinking about the weight the Kazekage's life had and how her death could create so much destruction made Akuno want to dance. In the next moment it seemed as if Jashin answered her prayers, a lovely tune rang throughout the city that was sure to wake her new neighbors and cause quite a ruckus.

As the Black Dragon played the perfect tune to match her mood she watched from a roof top as the city was lit ablaze. The bright lights, screams and explosions all added to the magnificent tune. The smoke seemed to choke the air right out of the peoples lungs and Akuno could only clap and sway her hips as she felt the beat rise. She did notice some of the civilians trying to run near by and swooped down on them, to them she appeared as a black figure wearing a human skull for a mask. She quickly summoned Kurushimi and went to work on blessing these poor souls, and moments later wold leave the ally covered in blood and littered with corpses. Akuno knew she would have time to play later and needed to be ready for the Kazekage to show herself, so she perched up on a building close to the Kage's mansion hiding in the shadows of smoke and the darkness of the early morning all the while enjoying her new favorite tune produced by the Black Dragon himself.

TIME: 2 Days Before The Kage Summit at Dawn | Location: Land of lighting Temple of Jashin #4 | Interacting With:N/A

Akuno lit the match and threw it at her former home, the entry temple building caught flame and it would spread soon, engulfing the entire temple and all the lifeless bodies that lay inside and out. The night before Akuno used her divine right and blessed everyone she called family, giving the highest honor of Jashin.....HA! You would expect her to feel like that, but really it was all for revenge, an eye for an eye, death for death. All those years ago she had a home, a husband, a little girl, a life, something simple and livable. That all went to hell when she got the letter, the fucking letter that contained her deep dark past all wrapped up in a average sized silver pendant. She had a choice, she could have thrown it away and never looked back but something inside of her drove her to wear it again and pick up Kurushimi(the scythe). Now she has returned to her "family" and given the them the sweet release that they longed for.

As she walked away from the burning temple, early morning air now filled with the smell of burning corpses and wood, she thought about the journal that was in her hand. It belonged to the woman who had raised her and contained a detailed account of Akuno's life, what she was doing who she was with, her actions and decisions, this was something new and deep down might have actually meant this woman cared for her. It didn't matter now, the signal was sent, Akuno made her choice, and she lives on wandering in endless suffering and sin haunted by the face of her daughter. The tunnel made by Cockroach was a form of payment, aside form the lives she would take in Jashin's name, and it helped her tie up lose ends that were haunting the back of her mind. The deaths of everyone at that temple are her deaths, not some god's, not the other Jashinist, not even death holds a claim in this instance, no Akuno claims these deaths as payment for choosing the "right path" and allowing the beast within her to be born again.

TIME:Present Day- Early Morning| Location: Yomigaeri HQ- Land of Wind Desert | Interacting With: Members of the Yomigaeri, @BladeX

Akuno gathered with the rest of the members at their HQ, this would be her fist time meeting any of them besides Cockroach and Seijuro but they all had reputations especially the General. She remembers hearing of him on the battle field during the second great festival, but everyone else she could only assume who they wear. even Akuno herself would be easily recognizable, the Jashin necklace, white hair red eyes, all characteristics of the Immortal Priestess. When Kareha spoke her comment made Akuno chuckle, their little band was anything but a gang fit them perfectly, a bunch of killers forced to trust in each other, what more does one need. After the General gave them the necessary information Akuno stood with some others and tapped the mans shoulder next to her, he was taller than her and his face was covered by a mask.

"Why don't we go to the Sunagakure the Land of Wind has never been touched by Lord Jashin, and I am sure whatever is under that mask could use some sun. She said with a tap on the shoulder and began walking towards he exit.

Hours Later it was early in the morning, the perfect time for a surprise attack. The sun had just risen, people where still asleep, it was cool in the desert perfect weather for wearing a dark cloak and mask. The journey had not been full of conversation, but the silence was comfortable and the few times they did talk it was to plan their assault. She has never been to Sunagakure or the Land of Wind, the nights were just as harsh as the days and she could only slightly appreciate that some strong sacrifices would be made to Lord Jashin today. People that thrived in these deserts deserved to be released from the deceitful clutches of life, and she would allow them the to experience the ultimate blessing. As they neared the village she began to wonder about her partner and decided to get more information on him.

"Why do they call you the Black Dragon?" She said out of the blue as the village came into view.

She was honestly interested the name was peculiar to her, she got the black part but had yet to see the dragon side of Chis. As the city came into view she dawned her black cloak and mask her way of signaling Chis that she was ready to move. He was her ally for now but that only meant she owed him and everyone of her new "family" members a death worthy of Lord Jashin. The village was in view but still far away, this would give them enough time to finish making plans and prepare for the blood that was soon to fall.
