Current Just heard the news about Woojin from Stray Kids. I'm so devastated and literally shaking. This feels like a really sick joke, but I hope he and the other 8 members are okay. #ThankYouWoojin

Currus Library, The Milky Way

An ever present daze fell over the young adult as she flipped tiredly through a book she's read probably thousands of times by now. Well, the same could be said about every other book in this library, but that's besides the point. A free hand went up to play with the blonde and bluish strands not covered by the mandatory veil on her head as she let her mind wander to other things.

It's been a few days since Capella caught a glimpse into the future of The Milky Way, and since then she'd been trying to get an appointment with the Big 3 to discuss it, but even with her status, it'd probably take weeks before she so much as gets a reply on the matter. But what else could she do? It wasn't like she was some chosen one that would venture out into the unknown world and make a big enough difference to prevent calamity upon her home.

"Uh, excuse me, kupo? But you're Capella of the Sixth Brightest right?"

She wasn't expecting to hear a voice come up from right behind her, so like any other normal person, Capella jumped and whipped her head around to see the owner of the voice with wide steel eyes. Due to The Milky Way's defiance and pride, Moogles were still a rare creature to be seen flying around, let along talking in general. So Capella reacted accordingly, unsure of how to even break out of her stupor. What business did it have with her?

After dumbly nodding, said Moogle handed over a letter to the girl, who took it quickly as curiosity got the better of her;

You must hurry, Child of the Sixth Brightest, for the thousands of Universes in Existence stand on the edge of a knife. Ask the Moogles to bring you to the world of Green Sahara, and hence forward to the Kingdom of Israel, and in Israel, look for a village called Bethlehem and fly above it as a Star. There, a legion of Heartless seek to slay a child named Yeshua, a child born of a Virgin Birth. Do not let them touch him, or all is lost.

This...this couldn't be real. It had to be some joke. Who sent this? And why to her of all people? The Big 3 would be a much better fit to handle something like this, not someone like her... Steel eyes glanced at the Moogle who was waiting patiently for her to finish, holding out a triangular keychain she's never seen before. Arching an eyebrow at the sight, Capella continued reading:

As proof that we are right, we are sending, with the Moogle, a symbol; a Keychain that empowers the Keyblade, a triangle of platinum with three symbols at its corners, one a pure golden circle, and the other two finely engraved pictures of Frankinsence and Myrrh. Attach this Keychain onto Halcyon, and attain great power.

Halcyon...looks like this was in fact for her. It wouldn't hurt to try and her curiosity was screaming at her to try out the new keychain being handed to her. It could still very well be trap, but it's not like she couldn't be stopped by another Keyblade wielder if that was the case. Taking a quick look around, to see if there was anyone nearby, Capella held out a hand, a starry glow enveloping said hand before her Keyblade replaced the glow. Equipping the keychain, the glow returned, but at a much brighter register. She felt hot, almost to the point of it being uncomfortable, steel eyes shifting to gold as light filled and poured out of them. She has been so surprised that stumbled backwards into her chair.

It only lasted for a moment, but once everything returned to normal, including Capella's eyes, the star child's attention fell to her Keyblade, or at least what she remembered to be Halcyon.

This letter was telling the truth, she'd even seen a bit of it for herself beforehand, but what would saving one boy do anything in the grand scheme of things? Taking a look at the remaining paragraph on the unsigned letter, Capella furrowed her brows. She she was just going to be sent on 'errands'? It wasn't like she had anything else better to do anyways. It'll been tough leaving The Milky Way, but if this task fell only to her, then she had no choice. Putting away Halcyon and informing the Moogle of where she wanted the go, the two left the library as quickly as possible, said Moogle guiding Capella to a Gummi Ship.

Onward to Green Sahara.

Crystal eyes remained focused on the aristocrat as the veiled water Spirit wrapped an arm around the later's waist to help him stand. The floodgates of knowledge hit the blonde hard as he tried to piece together the events that Gris was giving him, but it all felt fragmented to some extent.

A boy looking for his friends.

A woman who committed suicide.

Unexplained powers that were not of the norm.

A cloaked figure that could hold their own even against Gris.

A friend of the boy committing murder to benefit the enemy.

And then they all disappeared...

It made as much sense as it could at the moment as even Gris wasn't sure what really went down he was in the midst of it for crying out loud.
"Quash your uncertainty. Everything should make sense once the time comes for it." Despite his words, the rabbit was a bit frustrated at the lack of clarity the situation clearly needed.

His attention quickly moved to the clinic to see how Anubis was faring, but his attention was instead caught by...quite a few things actually. He didn't remember there being anyone else near the vicinity, but now there stood four others, one collapsed onto the floor. He only knew two out of the other three; Chiyo and what Grisaia would assume to be the cloaked figure that Gris mentioned.

As if purely on instinct, Grisaia stepped a bit forward, hands tense in case he needed to get physical. Fortunately, that didn't seen to be the case as Chiyo was released and two of the strangers vanished, Grisaia relaxing immediately after once the main threat seem to be gone. He watched in silence as Chiyo hurried to her master, a tiny pang of jealously pumping into the rabbit's veins before diminishing as quickly as he felt it.

As much as he wanted answers from the little girl, Grisaia knew that it wasn't the time. Gris got this as well and even gave him something to do. Of course it wasn't an order, but the demihuman's body reacted as if it was, giving the oni a short nod and curt bow before making his way into the clinic, leaving Adhara to take care of Gris and help him around if need be.

The moment Grisaia stepped in, he was bombarded with an obnoxious smoke. Of course it could have been a lot worse, but the servant's sensitive nose could certainly do without the fumes.
"Anub--" The blonde attempted to call out to the earth Spirit, only to shrink back slightly at the voice that cut him off, calling out for a quill. The next comment had things make more sense, but didn't stop Grisaia from frowning.

"Anubis." Grisaia tried again as his attention remained on the rather large man looking too and fro for the girl named Quill. He kept his voice dangerously low as to avoid startling the man with his sudden yelling. "Is there anyone else here besides us three?"

"No, it's just us." Came a quick response. With a slight nod, Grisaia approached the owner of the clinic, hands clasped neatly behind his back as he looked up the other's face.

"If I may, sir, I've confirmed that there's no one else in this building. Might I ask if I can help you with anything while you explain what caused this?" Grisaia asked with a slight tilt of his head, Anubis standing right by his side.
was gonna do an android lady, but seeing as we already got people around that spectrum, I'll opt for something else ^^

Bentley's words seem to do just the trick as the silverish brunette's smile became more genuine. Maybe he could be helpful in this situation after all. It's not like they knew exactly what they would be facing, and that was something he could provide to the team. Something that neither of the other two could do at least from what they've mentioned. Nodding a bit to show that he was listening, he graciously took hold of the binocular-like device now in his possession. Did he have any idea on how to use the actual piece of technology, probably not, but he'd have to admit that they looked pretty damn cool.

Before Tiz had a chance to even thank the turtle of his quick work, both were startled by the Boss' sudden outburst, Tix in particular furrowing his bros a bit at how he went about voicing his problems. Sheesh, this guy was worse than Edea and that's saying something. His eyes remained mostly on Bentley however, seeing if he needed to step in as much as he wanted. Thankfully, the giant turtle, along with Piper, was able to stand up for himself. A rush of pride swelled in the freelancer's chest as he folded his arms smugly.

Once Bentley returned to them, the three were off, more than ready to begin the long trek that awaited them; well Tiz didn't really have a choice in the matter, but that's not important right now. Was was important was figuring out how...how whatever Bentley made works. Continuing to make himself Bentley's right hand man, Tiz stuck to him like white on rice, learning how to operate the Binocucom.
“Press this button?” His finger was placed over the button for the microphone as if he was about to press it, but before he had the chance, he was corrected, the same finger sliding over to the other button and only pressing it once he was given the okay. Bringing the device up to his eyes, Tiz was met with nothing particularly special. It was what he saw on a normal basis for the most part.

When his attention was shifted to Piper, he looked over to her with the Binocucom and smiling widely at her.
“Same to you guys! We'll see ya when we see ya.” He hummed before bring the binoculars down and hurrying to catch up with Delsin, who was more than ready to get this show on the road. “Onwards! The faster we leave, the faster we get there, which means the faster we can come back and get this mission over with!”

"...I think you lost her."

A naturally bored sounding tone came from the Earth Spirit as he followed lazily beside his contractor, who was busy greeting the people at vendors and the artisans that knew of him. Grisaia wasn't the type of person to call himself popular, or even social for the matter, but when you're connected to an aristocrat by last name, it got people's attention, whether it be for good or bad.
"I'm quite aware, Anubis, thank you." The blonde finally responded once the two were left to their own devices a few hours since leaving the estate.

Damn that sly fox. He should have known the second the other agreed to go out with him, it would just end with her throwing him for a loop. But for some reason he still decided to go with her... Well whatever, it didn't matter anymore. A least he got to spend some time outside without his mind completely on the Mistress. Hell, maybe even that was Mie's plan from the beginning. Or maybe that was giving the fox way too much credit.

"It'd be best if we head back to the estate. We did leave without much of a word to the others." Grisaia sighed as he shoved his hands into his pocket and took a sharp turn back once they came. "Of course, but maybe it would be better if I switched with Add?" Anubis pipped up as the brisk stride the both picked up at the thought heading back to the estate slowed to a careful stride, Grisaia looking down at the other with a slightly confused look.

"What's that suppose to mean?" "You know...Add's better at this stuff. Making you feel better I mean." While it was true that Adhara was the most emotionally responsive out of the three of them, hearing Anubis admit it was a bit weird for the rabbit to comprehend. He honestly felt fine, especially after clearing his head and talking to Aer earlier. So why bring it up again? Before he had a chance to say anything in return, crystal eyes met the smoky stream cutting through the sky up ahead, effectively ending the conversation before it could really start.

Whatever it was, that can't be good.

"Let's go."

---

It didn't take long to reach the source of the smoke, that being a clinic with a few ember remains here and there. It was a bit hard to tell what caused the fire due to the smoke, but his attention immediately landed on Gris.
"Milord Forye!" Grisaia called as he was down by his side in a matter of seconds, hand hovering over the other as his mind raced a mile a minute. "Anubis, go see if anyone needs help inside." Without looking up, the blonde gave his order, letting the Earth Spirit get to it before he called upon the female Spirit, checking his pocket watch in the process. It wouldn't be ideal to call on her now, but it seemed worth it at the moment.

As the veiled girl materialized next to Grisaia, she immediately began to cast water magic on the white haired Oni, glancing at Grisaia with a clearly confused look on her face.
"Mind filling me in?" She asked as her hands moved fluidly around the man on the ground. Also wanting to know the same, Grisaia looked back to Gris with narrowed eyes, expecting some sort of explanation.

The warrior found himself freezing when Boss did, the later's focus on him him making him wince just a little bit. Did...did he say something wrong? Luckily it seemed like the person on the other side of his intercom made him relax and continue walking, Tiz scurrying forward so that he was now beside the other man. This seem to prompt Boss into a rather winded spiel about who he was, the gist of it being was that he was a king.
“Whoa, that really impressive sir, it's an honor to be in the same groups as you!” Tiz remain polite however, placing a hand on his heart before lowering his head as if he was bowing. Yeah, Boss seemed a little, uh, boisterous...but that wasn't always a bad thing!

---

It was a shame that the mission had to get all serious, seeing as Tiz would rather get to know the others a bit more before getting thrown into this, but it didn't bother him too much as things were starting to get interesting; not to mention a little creepy too. It looked like they were to be tasked with a mission inside of a mission... missionception? Missinception? Yeah, let's go with that. He tried to pay close attention to the conversation, eyes also shifting to the statues that lined the room. If his intuition proved right, they'd be dealing with the real life versions of these statues, referred to as the Colossi?

Bentley's confirmation of the missinception made Tiz nod slowly in understanding. They weren't meant to fully trust this Dormin guy right? But seeing as the only note taker of the group was going along with this, Tiz did the same, walking beside the other as they both headed back to the group. It made sense why the turtle was assigned as one of the leaders for this mission, he already had a plan up and ready to go for how to handle said Colossi.
“Sounds good to me. I mean, with what we know now, it's probably the safest option, right?” The silverish brown haired boy mused, a small smile forming on his face as Piper and Delsin also seemed to be good with this plan. He then nodded again at the prospect of hitting the prison first; they'd have to start somewhere and it didn't seem to matter where either.

When it came to his two teammates showing of their abilities, Tiz couldn't help but feel a little bit embarrassed at how much he was lacking behind the two of them. Bentley made it seem like he wasn't anything special, but seeing what he had in his arsenal made Tiz think the turtle was just use to undermining himself. And Delsin could turn into and utilize fucking smoke as a weapon. It was kind of unfair how behind he was in comparison, but it was all the more reason to get through this mission and build himself back up to where he was back in the day.

Tiz let out a light chuckle as he scratched the back of his head. He just had to go last out of three too...
“A-Ah, I'm not as smart as you, or have cool powers like you yet, unfortunately.” He looked between Bentley then Delsin respectively. “I'm decent when I fight hand to hand or use a dagger, especially with my job class, the Freelancer. The only useful thing I'll probably be able to do is Examine the enemy to see it's weaknesses, how strong it is and things like that, but I need to be covered so that I don't lose focus.” He explained before looking over to Delsin and grimacing.

“Yay, more walking, of course we're prepared...can't you see how excited I am.” The last sentence came out more as a statement than a question as he frowned harder for emphasis on his sarcasm.

The corners of the raven haired teen's mouth quirked up for a second at Naija before his attention was brought to Slayer, the smile only growing. They had been allies mere hours ago and now they were both on the same platform; not veteran and newbie, but comrades in arms. The question he proposed was also something he himself needed a little freshening up on. He'd only been in Platform City for a few days, and that was him being generous. The blond that went by Cloud as well as a girl he didn't catch the name of both targeted the giant penguin that had been following them into the ship. The penguin only got heated up in response, but what he had to say wasn't all that wrong even if Akira didn't want to admit it. Claiming yourself to be a good guy doesn't mean your actions are just as positive, he knew that all too well...

With a slight quirk of the eyebrow, Arika's attention was brought back to Naija as she elaborated to the best of her ability what the hell's been going on to get them to where they were now. He didn't want to say that her explanation only made him more confused, so instead, he gave her a slow, slightly dumbfounded nod as he took a seat that happened to be right next to her's. Managing to buckle himself in on the first try, the phantom thief removed his glasses. A spark of blue flames covering his body followed by the sound of a chain link snapping under tension, and Akira had changed to more suitable attire, his black and white mask resting atop his head like sunglasses would. He then busied himself with anything but the feeling of his stomach dropping. It honestly made him want to laugh, but this was an important mission, one he didn't plan on messing up.

Much sooner than he expected, they had managed to catch up with the Halberd, but not without a run down from Vault Boy and some bitching and moaning from the penguin. Honestly, could they just leave him here? Akira could already feel in the back of his head that he was going to be annoying. Of course, the thief didn't say any of this out loud and simply took off his seat belt when the former mentioned his concern over the shields covering the target ship as well as the pink marshmallow yeeting himself into the void of space.

Being just a normal human, he couldn't possibly go out into space without dying (okay, he did it once in a Palace, but a Palace is different from the real thing) so he was pretty useless here.
“Unless you can help pilot this ship, probably not.” He answered the girl as he stood from his seat, only holding onto the back of it now. “It'd be best to stay out of anyone's way, going to the shells would probably be the best option.”
He hummed afterwards, already heading in the direction of the shells but not getting in one in case there was a change of plans.

Skidding across the floor and tumbling without any control nor power to stop herself, Loona couldn't help but be surprisingly grateful for the debris and scattered bones that stopped her. With her lower half bent awkwardly above her, bleary eyes tried to focus on what just happened. Botches of red swarmed the fairy's vision as she assessed what the hell was going on. But before she could get an idea of anything, a bright warm light followed by the combined screams of multiple had her blood run cold. Only a monster could produce sounds like that, no? But the smell... oh gods, the smell... Something Loona managed to block out earlier dulled all her senses. The all too familiar scent of boiling blood, burning skin, and the sounds that came with any sane person... Loona covered her ears and closed her eyes but to no avail, the screams only seemed to grow louder to multiply in her head. Tears of blood from the laceration on her forehead trickled down as they had won the battle in exchange for a life...

Upon exiting the trail ground with one less member, Loona hung her head slightly low, staring at the blood on her clothes and hands. There was nothing to be proud nor excited about. It's what she signed up for, but she didn't expect something like this to happen so soon. Maybe if she was faster, she could have helped in some way. Maybe if they figured out how to deal with the monster quicker, they'd all be in a better mood...

Refusing to make any form of eye contact with anyone, even at the mention of food and the ability to venture to more places within the keep she remained still and hovering under everyone's line of sight, Loona only looked up when she felt a hood drop over her head. It was her size and everything. She only managed a grimace and a tiny 'thanks' before looking to the rest of her teammates. It looked like they weren't feeling any better about this either. Kiri left for the rooms without a word and Colin, who was walking in a similar direction, ...she wasn't quite sure if he even knew where he was going. Remembering back to his previous outburst, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to leave him alone, even if he was just going back to their room.

With a new desire to make sure Colin got back to the room without any problems, Loona slowly and gently placed herself on the man's injured shoulder, resting a hand on the wound to heal it before getting a bit more comfortable on her new porch.
“H-hey, um, how about we get a shower first? I-I mean, it wouldn't be a good idea to dirty your sheets so soon.” It had only been a suggestion, whether Colin decided to go with it or not, Loona would stay beside him until he as at least looking a bit better. And she's try to do the same for Kiri, if she could ever get close enough...
