Esther, once outside, took a deep breath to take in that sweet Beacon air. It was something about the sight matched with the reality of actually being here gave Esther a sense of purpose. Not to mention feeling immensely honored that she’s been accepted. Man, I feel like it’s only going to get better from here! I don’t know what I was worrying about befo-

Not even being able to finish her train of thought, Esther froze when she heard that dreaded sound. The sound of beady eyes and sharp beaks made for pecking her flesh. They were coming. “No...” She said out loud, shaking her head in disbelief. There, a giant flock? Hoard? Herd? Whatever the proper term was, there was a giant ass group of chickens beginning to flood the campus. Almost on cue as fear and dread began to flow in her veins, her semblance acted up. A greenish orb pulsated around Esther, giving her a good physical bubble of personal space, protecting her from the sea of feathers.

She shrugged toward Gerald’s question, half listening as she stared fearfully at the chickens that occasionally bumped into her force field. The Faunus would much rather be surrounded by turtles than these clucking balls of death. As thankful as she was as Coral in killing one of the thousands of birds, she declined. “Uh, no thanks. I’m not a fan of birds, food or otherwise.”
((Double post, my bad))
When the ship made touch down, her anxiety instantly turned into excitement as she realized they had made to Beacon Academy, the Beacon! The very school that had taught some of the greatest huntsman and huntresses known all around.

“Of course,” Esther agreed with a nod, allowing those on the roof to go ahead of her, not only to be polite, but because she knew her slowness would only end up with her being pushed and probably falling down the stairs. She already fell down once today, she didn’t need to make it a habit. She took in the sight of the colossal school, taking in all of its detail she can see from the top of the ship before it disappeared and her sight was taken over by the inside of the ship.

The ship was mostly cleared as students rushed to explore the school grounds and get settled in. Did they get dorms now or was that later? She really had no idea what they were supposed to do, and probably should have listened to the quick announcements from that Goodwitch person. Well, that of course, will be dealt with later. Esther noticed she had people waiting for her. That was actually new, usually she was left behind, not that she cared.

“Sorry for the wait,” she apologized again, rubbing the back of her scaled neck in embarrassment. “You guys can always go ahead if you like, I don’t mind,” Esther added, giving them a way out of sticking with her out of pity or whatever it was that caused people to stay with her. Well it’s not like the school is going anywhere, I don’t see why people are being a bunch of hurry hares. Pretty sure that orientation given by the headmaster isn’t until later. With a wave toward the door to allow them to go ahead of her like she did before, Esther made her way out of the ship and onto the campus.
Esther realized it was rather loud with the winds blowing. Conversing would be hard out here, but then again it wasn’t as crowded as it was inside. Coral was it? Hey, it works because she’s an octopus Faunus, and coral are found in the ocean, I get it Esther thought, mentally trying to escape from the need to be social at the moment. I guess Sheldon would work for a turtle, because SHELL-don, but then again that’s a terrible name and Esther is just fine.

There was a rather too longer pause most likely made by Esther, something that happened rather too often when you add her to the mix. She felt rather bad for anyone who had her on a team. With a mental shrug to this thought, Esther shouted, “So yeah, you guys excited about going to Beacon? I’m kinda nervous myself. High standards and whatever, you know?”

Esther wasn’t sure how she passed the entrance exam. Surely is was luck, and knowing her, it’ll run short pretty soon. She’d probably end up falling asleep during initiation and get mauled by an Ursa or something. If it wasn’t that, it would be something, Esther didn’t have very high hopes for herself all in all.
