My excuse for this exchange is I have an internet personality to maintain and I gotta do something weird every now and again to meet my quota. That is my new totally made up story, and I'm sticking to it.
@WilsonTurnerAh, yeah, I hear yah, that stuff seems to happen a lot with roleplays. I had a few roleplays I was GMing that had to restart almost immediately because someone that had taken a pivotal role disappeared without saying a word.

And, uh, sorry if I came off as rude. I just really like worldbuilding! Oh, and, erm, I had a hunch about what you might want to talk to me about, and wanted to see if I was right by maybe jogging your memory? And instead of just coming out and saying it straight I tried to be clever and sidle around it so it wouldn't seem like it was my idea even though it totally was?

I admit it! I was being a dumb jerk! But I meant well! Kind of?

*Mumble mumble* thought you were gonna ask if I wanted to set it up so John and Sahlre'dval were from the same universe. *mumble mumble* Thought that would be kind of cool. *mumble mumble*

Also, I actually do care if imaginary people prefer pineapple over squash, because I think that says a lot about their culture and tastes and helps us determine climate, as well as their preference for sweets and also their consciousness of nutritional content and sustainability, and possibly on their advancements in agriculture and.... yeah, you get the idea.
Truly? Well if there's any way I can help then I would be most glad to.

@WilsonTurneroh, do you have an idea of the greater universe outside of your species' planet? If not, I would be happy to help with that! Maybe too happy, to tell the truth. It, uh, might not seem like it from my current character sheet, but I assure you, I am a bit of a worldbuilding nut. Even did a few with rather detailed economies.

EDIT: man, is this rude to ask? It seems like it might be rude to ask.
Hey Eyeris, you got a rewards exchange system for them brownie points? Or did I lose my point during the whole stunner debacle :P ?

Be nice to get an idea how John could maybe get into MERCY's good graces (aiming at joining), but if I gotta wing it I'll wing it (and probably make a right mess of things, advice or no, but that's life).
With help from Zesiro and Gemma, John quickly uncovered the buried man, and was about to start worrying about all the hundreds of people who he now realized might very well be buried alive right under his feet, when his train of thought was interrupted by a *THWUMP*.

THWUMP

Slow and powerful, the sound of enormous wings laboriously beating the air to keep a massive body aloft.

THWUMP

John looked up and saw an airplane... in the jaws of a dragon.

He slowly straightened up. He shook his head to clear his vision, which completely failed to make the image disappear. "Well" he said. "That's an illegal splice job if I ever saw one."

"So kid, you got some orders here or we just improvising? 'Cause, uh, not to undermine your weapon granted authority here, but maybe we should think about getting into some cover."
Hah, KEEPS running off like that? That wording makes it sound like Karnage has had to deal with John running off before :P
Well, @Lucius Cypher BASICALLY what happened is that John said a lot of things and flashed his ID, Zesiro ignored him, and we all went towards the castle. Then XIII (Konan375's character) woke up under a pile of rubble, peeked out a hole, and started shouting at us. John got agitated at the thought of someone being buried alive and went to go get him out... and there we are.

I dunno what you should do... erm... be unimpressed with the hologram that came out of John's ID? Be insulted when John said he was a suspicious looking dude? Maybe dig XIII out of the rubble?

*looks about conspiratorially*

*whisper*use the distraction of the guy trapped in the rubble and John running off to save him to get the drop on Zesiro?*whisper*

EDIT: I dunno, the more I look at it, the more I think I've made John unlikeable. Anyone have thoughts on that? I'm trying to improve my range of characterization, so any critiques would be welcome.
Hearing a shout, John peered around the corpse strewn rubble. Finally, zooming in on a hole in a pile of rocks, he espied the heavily scarred face of a man. "By the- there's someone alive in there!" John rushed towards the man, the stranger's plight triggering his own anxieties. Pushing his face against the hole, he looked in at the hollow the man was in and worried about cave ins.

"Ok sir, I need you to not panic, alright? Get as close to the most intact piece of wall as possible, get down low, and put your hands over your head. We're going to get you out."
Hrmm, have a dinky little post right now... Oh, @Eyeris, would John be able to use his magic to rearrange the rubble into a portion of structure in order to free XIII, or would you prefer it if he was limited to an all or nothing thing?

EDIT: I think I'll just post what I have right now, because that part isn't going to change regardless of the answer... well, unless I'm told to change it I guess? Anyway.
Ah, ok. oh, and *facepalm* yeah, I had a brainfart when writing that last bit. Knew what number it actually was, just ended up getting confused for that one bit.
