I am going to be recovering for my visit to the hospital, so I wouldn't be on for the weekend.

This site was being a pain in an ass to me.
The vault was left empty as it haven't been used in years since it's creation. But, someone has plans on restoring to vault to his/her own uses...

Hello and welcome to my interested check! I'm searching for a couple of serious roleplay partners to do some 1x1 with. I am a busy seventeen year old, who spends most of his time on the computer and Playstation 4. I really like for you to have some of these thing remembered, if you're planning to roleplay with me.

I have to go to school and I do have a life out of this site. That means that I will be busy, when something happens. Like going to prom or seeing family outside of my hometown. If you have an issue with that, then I am sorry and you should get some sun on your white skins.

I'm an high-casual and an advanced writer and I don't have perfect grammar. But, please make it so I can read it. Some goes from me. Remember none is a robot and we all are human.

I want partners to be at the age of sixteen and over, because younger partners aren't my favorite kind of partner. I want to talk to them once in the while, so please talk to me...

I want some of my roleplays to be similar to a TV show, Game of Thrones. Where there are a ton of characters and subplots. Of course, I would like to do one character with a plot. But, I really love roleplays with a heavy lore and twisting plots.

Please post at least two or more paragraphs. I'd love to have more, but we all have lives outside of this site.

As for Fandom roleplays, I want to use the fandom's setting to roleplay with. Not the characters. Such you might hear about them or from them, but you or I wouldn't play them. But in cases of games with custom main characters (Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and others), then I will include my or your version of that character.

I will add in more original ideas and fandoms, when they come into mind.

What I like about this roleplay is the fact that there isn't a whole lot of explosions and fighting to make this roleplay interesting. This is why I like number five and six more.

But, that's my suggestion.

Man, if I am still around from the tenth anniversary, I want a scene of mine to be suggested (if we ever get that fair).
@Willy Vereb, nobody gives a damn but you. just saying.
Name: Antarctic Empire
Leader: The Penguin King
History: Fallout allowed mutations of giant super-powered penguin people that eat nukes as a daily meal.
Goals: Universe domination at all costs.

Lol, but seriously, I will take Australian Federation. They sound fun.

"Don't play Antarctica or I will be mad." ~The Gray Warden

I just know that if I didn't mention it, someone would of done it.

And also, Australia is one of those nations that I would want in the right hands. No pressure, just make me want to let you keep Australia. Just to be safe, I'd think about a backup nation just in case (there might be someone else out there who wants Australia as much as you do).

Don't rush to it as I wouldn't be checking sheets until everyone, who would like to do the same nation, has their sheet in.

Two Years After Contact

It has been two years since The Contact happened, mankind is still trying to rebuild for the invasion. Asia was hit the hardest, causing the world economy to come crashing down when the invaders begun. Europe was the second hardest continent as many beloved cities were either damaged or destroyed as the European countries tried to rebuild. Africa, with the lack of help and support, collapsed into a continent of violence and chaos along with most of South and Central America. Australia and the Northern half of North America (besides America) received the least amount of damage and millions of people soon flood the continents to start a new life there.

Canada and Australia are now the new superpowers, replacing America and China after the invasion ended. Their barred lands soon housed millions of people all over the world, changing the very landscapes of these countries. However, there are still hundreds of crash sites full with unknown secrets and advanced technology. The governments of the world have formed a pact into researching these ships from any clues on who or what the invaders were and keep any technology found. Despite the goal, many salvagers picked these ships cleared and sell it to the highest bidder.

The governments of the world have many challenges ahead of them. Can they solve them and flourished back into nations they once were? Or will they be cast aside and faded away like nations before them?

Timeline of The Contact

May 15, 2038: SETI Telescopes detect an object roughly the size of Charon, Pluto's moon. This object is detected because it refracts 95% of all known EM radiation around it. At this point, it is approximately 100 AU from Earth - roughly twice the distance from the sun to Pluto - moving at approximately 2% of light speed, and decelerating.

May 18, 2037: Thousands of telescopes and satellites are now focused and analyzing the object. It is determined to be not natural in origin. Worldwide, governments begin enacting their plans in case of extraterrestrial threats. The size of the object is estimated at 600km radius with a mass of about 5% of Pluto's despite the outer shell, now no longer deflecting as much EM, being nearly as dense as diamond. This discrepancy in mass to size leads scientists to believe it is largely hollow, in other words, an interstellar spacecraft.

May 21, 2038: Despite efforts to conceal the knowledge, its presence and location become known worldwide. Panic, doomsday predictors, and religious leaders polarize the populace. Most of the world moves toward a mix of martial law and anarchy.

June 1, 2038: Just prior to the arrival of the craft, in high Earth orbit a massive explosion occurs, leaving a cloud of radiation and debris that lasts several days - enough time to wipe out all satellites in orbit. Our ground telescopes are all we have left to monitor the situation. This event does what the world's governments have failed to do - unify the people. Much of the anarchy calms as this threat to all is realized.

June 15, 2038: Dispersed over every major government center worldwide, Alien spacecraft approximately 2km x 0.5km x 0.5km, descend from earth's orbit, unaffected by any military attack. Still smaller craft and ground units debark from the large craft. These smaller craft head directly towards the locations of earth's nuclear arsenals. All attempts to communicate are unheard or at least not responded to by the attackers.

June 18, 2038: No silos or ground based nuclear missiles survive. The few that were launched were shot down by the smallest of the alien craft. Earth is also now depending on lower technology to communicate -HAM, walkie talkie, telegraph.

June 19, 2038: Launched from submarines, several nuclear missiles are fired, undetected by the invaders until it is too late. Washington DC's and London's invading craft are struck by 8 warheads a piece, roughly 20 times the yield of Hiroshima. The attack hits the top of the vessels, to shield the ground below from as much of the blast as possible. The craft are not destroyed by the attack, but appear to have taken some damage. The cities below have been leveled for 8km around the blasts.

June 20, 2038: Earth's military is ordered to retreat and disburse to begin a guerilla war. One final major strike is made with biological and chemical warfare to cover the retreat.

September 1, 2038: Earth's attempts at rebellion are largely ineffective. Ground units of the aliens reveal that this is an entirely automated assault. No organic life is present among the attackers, and no attempt at communication is successful, despite continued efforts.

December 14, 2038: After what remains of the military has coordinated with a grassroots campaign, salvation seems finally possible. The aliens appear not to notice or respond to helium balloons launched upwards towards their ships. A plan is formed, to be executed on Christmas Day.

December 20, 2038: Using the data from cameras placed on balloons and toy vehicles, it is determined that many hatches are open in the undersides of these ships, and their basic internal layout are mapped.

December 25, 2038: Thousands of suicide missions are conducted, floating troops up to and into the vessels. Once aboard, the troops find key power systems and place high explosives and satchel nuclear weapons. 3% of the soldiers survive, but 24% of the large craft are downed to this tactic before the invaders cut their losses and retreat.

December 26, 2038: The one and only communication from the invaders is received, broadcast on every channel in ten major languages - "This acquisition is no longer profitable." The large ship departs the solar system as swiftly as it came. People came out of hiding to see their beloved world almost destroyed. The world starts to rebuild the world that once was peaceful.

May 15th, 2040: Governments have started to reform and rebuild the world.

The Seven Continents' Aftermath of The Contact

Africa: Although it was also less dominated by the Invaders than any other continent save Australia and Antarctica, the lack of support from first world nations for the largely dependent continent has driven the nations of this continent into utter squalor, with the poorest living conditions in the world, growing worse by the day. Still, many missionaries and others looking to help come here.

The only Invader crash site is in Johannesburg on this continent, and has been largely left to stand unmolested - but also ripe for the picking for salvagers.

Asia: Home to much of the world's population, this was one of the hardest hit by the Invaders initially, until they had largely neutralized earth's military. China has reverted to a regional feudal system. Korea is re-united under an oligarchy. In Japan, though Kyoto, Sapporo, and Tokyo lie partially under the ruins of Invader crash sites, the national pride is strong, and very aggressive investigation into alien technology is ongoing.

Australia: Largely untouched by the invasion, this is now the hub of civilization. Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth have tripled in population. The move to settle the outback - using techniques used in Africa and North America, has begun. A lot of opportunity here for everyone. The government of Australia is also mostly intact.

The only two Invader crash sites here are over Brisbane and Canberra, but these two are the most investigated by Earth's premier scientists.

Europe: Devastated by the Invaders, crash sites are memorials to once great cities - Paris, Munich, Rome, Barcelona, and several other cities are now shells of what they once were. The U.K. was hit especially hard due to the attempt to use nuclear weapons on the Invader over London. Most of the U.K. is still considered unsafe to live in due to fallout, and the coast of France opposite the island kingdom has been similarly evacuated.

Still, for those willing to risk the contamination, there are treasures, both terrestrial and extraterrestrial, to be had there.

North America: Despite the Eastern Seaboard being largely abandoned due to the fallout of the failed nuclear strike over Washington DC, the United States survives, but relying on state governments, rather than a national authority. Canada fared much better than the US, though Montreal was devastated by the Invaders and is the nation's only Invader crash site, and is becoming a world power in and of itself. However, not as strongly as the Australians have managed.

There are literally dozens of Invader crash sites all about the US, in various states of investigation or disuse. Wide tracts of land are available for those willing to live off of it. Still, a land of opportunity.

South America: There are several Invader crash sites here, in Argentina, Mexico, and Brazil. Government is largely non-existent, and militia/gang violence is the new norm. But, if you're willing to live by the speed of your trigger finger and the seat of your pants, South America is a viable option.

Antarctica: Left alone by the Invaders, and now, no one has the resources or the inclination to continue research or settle here.

Rules

1. No Godmodding/Powergaming/Metawhatsit, what is stated in the OOC that has credence in the RP is not known to your characters unless it meant to be known.

2. Keep arguments out of the OOC. If it is related to the RP, and me and the associated parties to a PM and I will oversee it there and come to a decision. Lighthearted debates are fine as long they don't turn into a stand off, where each side is cursing the other side off.

3. I have the final say (and so do the CO-GMs, if there's any). If you have a problem with my (our) rulings, then feel free to express why you dislike and why you think it should be corrected. If I am (we are) convinced, I (we) will rescind the ruling.

4. I expect at most a minimum four or five paragraphs per post, more is encouraged. And acceptable grammar and writing is needed as well.

5. Use Common Sense. It will take days to mobilize your national armed forces and weeks to go across the Atlantic Ocean.

6. You play as real nations (France, Britain, America). That means that you can't make your own country that's meant to 'take over the world'. If you want to change your country, then come to me with your idea and I will accept it or not. It must be real enough that it could happen, not something you just pulled out of your ass. And you can't go back to time and change things (like if Nazi Germany won World War Two) before 2015. After 2015, then you change things (that are realistic) to your liking.

7. There isn't going to be a nation at Antarctica. If you even ask me, then I will be upset with you.

8. Try to write your posts as a collection of individuals not written like a summary of current news events. Why this rule exist? It's because it explores the world and the society in a better way than summarizing your events. If you have read any books by George RR Martin, then you will get what I am trying to reach for.

9. To ensure that you read the rules, you must be able to put in a quote about the country that you're playing as.

Based on Iwaku user Michale CS' Roleplay and several films, novels, and games. The timeline and the aftermath of the continents were hers.
I might as well as join the event as well, even known I wasn't around six years ago.

And I don't usually plan ahead in roleplays, because most of them that I am in die within the month or even the week. It is kinda of sad that I haven't been in a roleplay that has lasted for six years or even three months.
To be fair, everyone is doing things during the Christmas/New Years break.

I bet that we wouldn't hear for everyone until break ends on the fourth of January.
Thank God for breaks, because I can finally make a fucking post about how France is doing (besides being in another nation roleplay, where there isn't an America around and making an sci-fi horror roleplay (based on several things on the subject).

EDIT: Also, this roleplay has been active for six years. Wow, most-if not all-of the roleplays here don't last that long.
I am getting a post out soon
