Name: Jack Rinner
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Personality: *To be portrayed in game. Not to offend anyone but I always find it easier to play out a characters persona instead of pre determining what he/she will be like.
Conduit Powers:
Gasoline manipulation- Jack's power consists of manipulating flammable liquids like gasoline. He can alter both forms of it (gas and liquid form) changing the density to switch back and forth without a second thought. Since gasoline is harder to freeze than water he cannot produce solids, but he can produce a very thick liquid resembling oil that holds a high concentration of what ever flammable liquid in his posession suitable for traps or even sliding across due to its thich oily nature. Jack favors gasoline above others since it is most abundant around him and has had plenty practice with it. He can manipulate similar flammable liquids like kerosene, propane, and to an extent even deisel fuel but he finds it harder to control and switch between gas and liquid forms.
Jack can alter the shape, density, and mass of gasoline but he cannot light the fuel without his trusty
Zippo lighter or some kind of spark. Jack also is not fireproof (not yet) and needs to take care not to set himself on fire in the process of lighting the fuel. He has many burn marks around his arms from when he first learned his powers. Spitting out a thick stream from his hand can literally turn him into a living flame thrower as long as he has his zippo or concetrating a pressurized cloud of gas in a certain direction can propel him short distances (like cole and Delsins hover but much more power and shorter bursts) Jack can manipulate the liquid and the gas but not the flame so "splash damage" is a huge factor especially if he's indoors. If he's not carefull he can quite literally blow himself up.
Background/Curdun Cay Experience: Before he got his powers, he lived in New York with his father working part time at the garage his dad owned while also going to school and hanging out with friends etc. He had a pretty normal life and didn't have any major complaints. That was until his second year in high school he started to instinctually spend more time at the garage and less with friends. His father just thought it was that he found a passion for working with his hands and building cars, bikes etc. That was what his father thought until he caught Jack late at night at the garage tossing the gascan full of gasoline in the air and watched as he made abstract shapes with the liquid mid air. Playing pong with himself using the tin canister as a ball. At first his father was amazed at what he could do but quickly grew scared and made him promise not to use this "gift" outside the garage, Jack promised...
Several years later, Jacks father was getting very sick and he had to hire help to keep up with general service. A small crew of four guys (including Jack) kept the repair shop alive during the day, while at night Jack kept practicing with his powers trying more dangerous stunts like lighting the fuels and focusing the gasses in an attempt at flight. One of the other crew caught a glimpse of this when accidently leaving his keys at work late one night and secretly recorded Jack with his phone and put it up on the internet for all to see. The DUP quickly caught wind of the video and located Jack within a couple days.
Jack was held in captivity in a fairly light level security in comparison with others, obviously not much of a threat with no flammable liquids nearby. Randomly processed by scientists testing his ability. Forcing him to keep switching liquids to solids and vice versa among other tedious tasks. Once Delsin defeated Augustine, he was set free among the rest of his kind and rushed to get back home. When he arrived to find that the shop no longer belonged to his father due to his passing. After a month of mourning he took a job at the very same shop part time and roams the streets of New York on his custom harley he's been working on for quite some time now doing odd jobs helping out other conduits with similar situations like his own.
