Name:
Shitsubo ??? (Shitsubo means dissapointment)

Age:
??? (looks 20-25)

Gender:
Male

Race:
Human

Magic:
Necromancer:

Silent Art:
Nullifies all senses except vision. One who is unfamiliar with such a scenario becomes disorientated and takes a long time to cope. Only those with extreme skills and recover quickly, however ones with abnormally strong senses are particularly affected and cannot recover for a long time.

Shadow Walking:
He can phase through just about everything, be it people or walls. Magic is a bit more tricky. When phasing, he vanishes entirely from the current plane of existence and enters another. Those with a beating heart, for the duration of his phasing, are unable to see or even sense him.

Reaper:
His original ability, commonly known as the ‘Mind Resonator’. It is unknown to most what this means, however it is said that he has a direct contract with Death himself, of course that would be foolish wouldn't it?

Equipment:
Shitsubo uses a black sword, medium sized, with no apparent features. This black sword directly relates to his Reaper ability, however no-one knows how as no-one has seen it. Not because everyone died, he’s simply never used it before. It is also said a voice comes out of the sword in whispers, as if talking to Shitsubo. However, most just wave this off as a ghost tale surrounding him. It looks like this sword, just totally black without any markings.

Shitsubo also wears a black coat, with red tattoos engraved upon it. A lot of people assume it was made by a sigilist, however these markings are at S level, meaning he would have had to gain them from one of the 10 masters of their art. It contains a powerful anti-barrier spell that requires conditions to active. Additionally he is impervious to normal attacks to a considerable level, expertise in strength can overpower the coat. The conditions are as follows: the ability must be understood; the ability must be visually recognised. If these two conditions are not met, it is merely a fancy coat.
In addition to this, underneath his coat is a strange tattooed symbol. It is assumed to be also of a sigilist’s making, however the symbol is unknown to anyone. Shitsubo was asked to reveal its secrets before, and he only said ‘consider it a second lease on life’.

Personality:
Silent, mysterious, people mistake this for shy but in reality he prefers silence as people talk more freely near him. He has no friends, not because of his own design, but because he doesn’t seek them and no-one wants to approach him.
Once he becomes friends, a more playful and childish side of him is revealed. It’s said that this is what first attracted his wife to him, for she had taken no courter before him.
He is also intensely loyal, it is very hard to become his friend but once you are, he will never betray you.

History:
Not much is known of Shitsubo. He first appeared on the world's radar when he courted a Sorceress, one of the rare sorcerer's who survive their tragic fates. Finally, after a year of courting, he was betrothed to her. Yet on the day of their wedding, she was mysteriously murdered. The day after he dissapeared, leading people to believe the cause of her death was him. Then, some time later, he appeared at the abandoned bar asking to be accepted. Despite his status as a murderer, he was accepted into the abandoned bar. To this day, no-one knows why other then the owners of the bar, but all avoid him. Finally curiosity came over some researchers, and they decided to look into his past. As they were researching, they were led to an ancient history book that described of a man who looks exactly the same as Shitsubo. The date was 1000 years in the past. It was immediately rejected as a preposterous coincidence, yet it is uncanny how similar the description is.
Through all of this, Shitsubo has never once been asked directly. Most put it down to fear or lack of interest, however a few people notice that the air around him is somewhat different, as if harder to approach.

GM said he/she was making a fully fledged idea last time we heard, he/she only brought the concept and not the roleplay. We can't start making character sheets without anything to go by, although I do have a couple of cool people in mind.

One of them is a mime who has the ability to store an infinite amount of items in an alternate space and also make any object invisible. So maybe don't let him mime near you...

@TheBeggar: I think you might need to edit some stuff in your profile then, since it seems to contradict you on whether or not he actively avoids people and if he's willing to go on missions with others. As for the abilities, I'm going to need more information about the sword before I can say anything about whether or not it's okay. Both in terms of what it actually is and what its abilities actually are, since, while I missed it reading through the first time, I don't really feel comfortable letting in an ability with basically no description of what it is/does. As for the roulette...I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but half of the abilities for it seem to be "make sight useless", which...wouldn't be TOO bad if it weren't for his ability to shut down all of a target's senses except sight. I don't really like the idea of him being able to manipulate nature on a level beyond what he should be capable of, even if it's not under his control after a certain point. Also, gods don't actually exist in the setting (religion does, but...not gods, or if they do exist, they don't really interact with the world) so the staff might need some changes in terms of that. Also, honestly, I don't really like the "99% of its power is sealed" bit.

Alright, I'll edit my Personality. And I left the Reaper ability intentionally unknown. I can guarantee you that it is not an ability that goes against the rules, but at the same time its not fun if you already know about the ability. It's kind of his ultimate move, so the secrecy part makes it a real wild card. Additionally, only one of my summoner roulette items visually impairs an opponent, the others are more related to misdirection rather then actual visual impairment.
What I didn't put in is the fact that none of the ability's can co-exist, only one can be used at a time. That's an easy restriction to combat Flash bomb and Silent Art.
Also, as I tried to explain, when he manipulates nature on a level beyond his capability he literally loses all control. Consider it like creating a tornado and telling it to go to your enemies, but instead it goes to your allies. It's considerable luck and hope that makes high level manipulation worth it.
the 1% thing was just a fun back-story to it, i didn't hold any meaning. The staff won't get more powerful. SO yeah I'll just remove it if you don't agree with it.

All of my abilities can be quite strong, but their restrictions and disadvantages are equally as strong. That's why I said I'm a wild card, I could be just the help needed, or the potential problem to make us lose.

If you REALLY don't like not knowing my Reaper ability, I can pm it to you.

@TheBeggar: Honestly, interesting as it is, I don't see that summoning ability working in this setting. In addition, I'm not sure I like the idea of a character who, if I'm reading this correctly, won't interact with others, either through conversation or sharing missions with them. As he is, I can't accept this character. Sorry.

He won't directly try to interact with others, but he accepts any and all missions involving natural crystals. It's quite easy to have mission like that, or create other events. He's not seeking to avoid others, but at the same time he doesn't have much interest in others. It's more that no-one in the guild has tried to become friends with him that he's by himself, rather then his total avoidance.

Alright, I really want to use summoner roulette however, so I'll keep it and have it spawn 5 different items instead of creatures. Additionally, do I need to change my Reaper ability? It's technically a transformation rather then a summon, but does it interfere?

EDIT: I adjusted my decision with the Reaper form, it's a living being inside the weapon. However, it's transformation isn't a living being, it's another weapon. That should be fine right?
Also i fixed up summoner roulette.
I'll think up a familiar as well.
interesting, I'm in.
Leaving quite a bit out on purpose, he's a bit of an unknown wild card. Expect surprises, expect failures, expect lack of care for everyone else.

Name:
Shitsubo - it means disappointment in japanese

Age:
??

Appearance:
Here

Personality: Reserved, hides himself away. Prefers his own company. His personality changes a bit when he becomes friends with someone, he's less reserved and shows respect. However, no-one has yet made friends with him. Not from his own design, he just looks so unhappy that no-one dares to approach him.

Backstory:
Not much is known, only that he appeared at the adventurers guild one day seeking work. He put his name down as Shitsubo, and when questioned only said 'my family were realists'. He said he'd take any job involving natural crystals and that leads up to the present day. No-one has discovered anything about him, he shows no animosity but neither lets people in. Any mission he goes on is alone, as no-one has yet wanted to partner with him.

Abilities/Equipment:
Shitsubo has a black, medium-sized sword. It is said that when you stare into it, it talks to you, however he's never been seen drawing it and takes no-one his missions. In practice, people see him using a wooden sword so they assume it is his main weapon.
This is far from the truth, Shitsubo uses the sword to hide his real strength, even if his strength in it is impressive. The sword itself is simply a catalyst to his most powerful ability, for its a living being disguised as a weapon.
Shitsubo's abilities are seemingly impossibly powerful, but absolutely useless at the same time.

Summoner Roulette: When he activates this ability, a random item from a select group is summoned. However, the ability only works if restrictions are set. It can only be activated once a day. Only one item can be present at any given time, the item present must be first used before it transports itself back. Only 5 items can be used for summoning, these items are:
Hat Trick - a hat: A fake magician's top hat, wearing it makes you invisible to the naked eye. Once taken off, dissapears. Alternatively, some outward force can also take it off incurring the same result.
Flash bomb - a bomb: Visually impairs opponents. Not a regular flash bomb, completely blinds anyone in the vicinity no matter what, except for the caster (even allies).
Illusionary Orb - an orb: Creates illusions. Anyone with knowledge or expertise with illusions can see through this magic. If a person questions the authenticity of the illusions, it breaks. If an illusion defies common sense, it breaks. If illusions involve a living being, alive or dead, it breaks.
Nature's Gift - a wand: Wields nature using a catalyst (water type requires water). However, as Shitsubo has formed no contract with mother nature, if he wields nature magic beyond his level he can't control it and it goes wild. A note to take is the fact that he can still perform levels beyond his control.
Necromancer's Staff of Kings - a staff: A necromancer staff imbued with the power of a necromancer god. However, the necromancer god put a limiter onto the staff so that it can only use 1% of its power. Can summon skeletons with swords or bows. Can summon hound dogs, however skeletons dissapear. It's final power is leach death, forcing the user's own life force into another to heal them.
I'll get pictures for them and any others later. I'll also probably expand the other characters I have in here.

Silent Art: Nullify's all the senses except vision. One who is unfamiliar with such a scenario becomes disorientated and takes a long time to cope. Only those with extreme skills and recover quickly, however ones with abnormally strong senses are particularly affected and cannot recover for a long time. The cost of this art is when it finishes, he loses those senses for a whole day.

Reaper: The summoned form of the black sword. ???
