I wasnt planning on making him able to use magic of that level forever. He's powered by a god, so he's pretty good at it, but because its not a perfect unison, after a while, Stribog has a hard time actually puppeting Khold's body, and if he uses too much power, his body will shut down until Stribog basically rewires everything. I was thinking that the synchro rate would get better and they'd be able to use power more efficiently, rather than his abilities getting better, cause I think they're definitely strong enough as it is.
Name: Kholodny Zima, the Scion of Stribog

Age:27

Gender:Male

Race: Russian

Random descriptors: Average+ height, lanky, pale as a bitch

Physical Description: Kholodny is not your typical ideal Russian man. Instead of being a great bear of a man, he's really more of a mediocre giraffe. He's not super tall, being only about 6'2, but he's a skinny sonuvabitch. Look up lanky in the dictionary, there he is. He is also INCREDIBLY pale, though for reasons not quite his own. We'll get to that in a second. He's got what looks like almost bleached blonde hair that is forever slicked back and spiky off to the sides, almost like ice cicles. Again, not his fault. He normally (Always) wears incredibly heavy coats, sweaters, and long sleave shirts, in that order. He wears two pairs of sweat pants when he can get away with it, but normally goes for just thick jeans. He's got extremely piercing blue eyes and perfectly white teeth. He shivers too. A lot. Actually, make that constantly. This dude shivers all the time, like he's got a frozen core instead of a heart or something. He doesn't, but its an apt description.

Personality Description: Zima isn't a super fun person to be around. One, because the air always seems just a little bit colder around him, and two, his personality leaves a lot to be desired. Yeah, he's a nice guy, but he's honestly super depressing. He's kinda mopey sometimes, and his self confidence levels are low, and he whines all the time (With good reason). Also, he's a coward. He has no confidence in his ability to win fights and will run whenever humanly possible. What a disgrace to the motherland.

Character History: Kholodny Zima lives a life full of irony. Delicious delicious irony. Born in Russia, his family was a member of a anti communist faction. Unfortunately, this led to them being exiled to Siberia while he was still just a babe. Well, Siberia in the middle of winter isn't good for anybody. His parents died. Oh no, not from the cold. His mother was eaten by wolves, and then his father died from a bear attack. But not before taking out the bear, skinning it, and making a blanket for little Kholodny to help protect him from the cold. Daddy Zima was a badass. But surprise!

A baby out in the middle of the Siberian Tundra isn't going to last long, bear skin coat or not. Kholodny died too. Well, almost died. Mostly died, which is different than all dead. Right before he drew his final breath a great rush of wind surrounded him and lifted him off of the ground. "Обычно я не ввязываться в дела, такие, как этот, но я не могу позволить ребенок, как этот, чтобы умереть в моей земле. Не бойся, малое один, ибо Я Бог Стрибог, будет заботиться о вас и позволит вам жить." Now, being a baby, Kholodny have no fucking idea what this spirit was saying, but the god Stribog, father of the four winds, had decided to take care of him and allow him to live. Entering Kholodny's body, Stribog filled the baby's being with his essence and power, causing the child to undergo immediate changes (You can probably figure out which ones) and saved his life. Eventually, little Zima was rescued and brought back to civilization, where he eveeentually moved to Florida to try and live someplace warmer. He fucking hates the cold and everything to do with it. Irony, huh? Stribog and Kholodny are still on great terms, with the god of the winds trying his best to stop his Scion from being a coward when it comes to fighting.

Character Equipment: Kholodny doesn't have much in terms of equipment. He has a tremendously heavy coat that he always wears to try and stay as warm as he can. This coat isn't made of any particular special material, but after having been worn by the Scion of Stribog for so long, it has picked up its own characteristics. If anyone else were to wear his coat, they would almost immediately (2 or 3 posts) freeze solid. It also provides pretty substantial defense, Stribog has woven magical ice into the threads, making it far tougher than you'd expect, you know, cause it looks like a fucking coat. Coming into contact with the jacket will begin to freeze whatever is directly touching it solid. It's not super fast, but it is almost impossible to avoid. If something maintains contact, it will be frozen. Good rule of thumb.

Skills, powers and abilities: Whats cooler than cool?

Weaknesses: Potent enough electrical currents have a tendency to make the connection go kind of....hazy. It gets weird, but it definitely screws him up. Non water, wind, or ice based magics he also has a harder time with.

Again, gotta edit the history to fit the setting a bit, but you get the general idea. Say hello the the Russian Frost, Kholodny Zima. He should fit in WAY better than Maxwell
Yeah, I'll be the first to admit Maxwell's built to be an unstoppable physical monster. But that's about all he's good at, so I generally think it's okay. Of course, if you want a non physical character, I have a wind and ice elemental dude that I really enjoy playing, so I wouldnt mind swapping Maxwell out for him.
What *IS* the Void? I see it thrown around this site SO often. And its always the same thing. The Void. Void this and Void that, and I know for a *fact* everyone has a different thought of what their particular Void is, so can we get some explanations? Also, I dont want to sound rude, but it really bugs me when people have listed "Super Strength" or "Super Speed" and leave it at that. That seems kind of bogus because then you can just extrapolate that to anything. Can we get some more concrete numbers on powers like that? I always try to give some, and I saw Mr.Didact give a suggestion of a power tier list earlier, can we all start using that or edit our sheets to use it? Ive encountered situations like this in previous roleplays, and sometimes it seems a bit unfair to people who give numbers and then have them lowered and set there, while other people dont actually have technical limits. I trust you all, so I wont say you'd do it, but I've seen it where, because they dont have limits in the sheet, they play without limits and it really screws some people over.
-Character Removed for the Time being-
Emmanuel Liheart

Codename: The Flashbolt Acolyte

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Place of Birth: America, more specifically Cleveland Ohio. He lives in New York City, where power is plentiful and easy for him to procure.

Affiliations: Unless you count being beloved by his local community, none. He gets along with pretty much everyone, most of the time, though he absolutely despises people trying to force him to do something or join something that he does not want to do. Which has lead to some rather tense situations involving the government, as he didn't take kindly to a proposition that they tried pressuring him into. Something dealing with being a superweapon overseas.

Occupation: Full Time Superhero, Part time WORLD CLASS COBBLER. I mean it too. World class. Emmanuel makes some of the greatest shoes in the entire world. Hand crafted, home made leather, treated with a special process to make it incredibly durable, but soft and flexible. He can make shoes look however the customer wants, with all the bells and whistles that one could desire. Auto Lacing? Sure thing. Light up? Yeah you got it. Emmanuel's Shoes have a reputation for being the only pair of shoes you'll ever need to buy. One pair can last an adventurous man his entire lifetime, easily. He sells them based on customer as well. Each pair is hand tailored for the person's foot and he only begins working on it once someone actually requests it. No mass produced shoes here. If someone doesn't have the money for a super expensive pair, he'll lower the price to match too, because ruining someone's rent payment or food budget for the month over a pair of shoes is stupid, he thinks. That being said, he makes more than enough money from his wealthy clientele, with his shoes being sold to multi millionaires everywhere from 100k and up. He comes from a long line of cobblers as well, which is why a 23 year old man has world class shoe making skills.

Appearance: Emmanuel is a relatively normal looking man. He stands 6 foot tall, and is very skinny and lean actually. However, hidden in that lean frame is tightly packed muscle, far more than it would appear. He has old Egyptian blood in him, giving him dark olive skin, and a gloriously well tamed and kept goatee framing his jawline. The rest of his body is impeccably smooth. Everywhere besides his eyebrows, hair, and goatee, he is perfectly hairless. His hair follicles were actually fried during his Awakening, losing his ability to grow more hair, meaning the hair he has stays as long as it is. His skin is very fair, but not perfect. During his Awakening and the unlocking of his powers, his entire body was marked with heavy Lichtenburg figures, scaring him from head to toe in electrical markings, like he has lightning running all over his body. Fittingly, he decided to get them all filled in by his tattoo artist buddy, leaving him covered in blue and yellow electrical marks, which begin to glow when he really gets into power mode. The tattoos are specially formulated to only appear in correspondence to electrical impulse, so when he's not fighting or using his powers, only his scars are visible, not the tattoos. He think it gives an added sort of flair.

Skills: Emmanuel is an expert crafter. Not limited to just shoes, if he can think of something, and has the materials to build it, it can probably be built. He is also a pretty talented electrician, but thats due entirely to his powers of manipulation rather than him knowing what he's actually doing. He's also trained as an EMT since highschool, and is an expert in first aid.

Equipment:
Emmanuel always has the Halo on his person, at all times. No exceptions.
He also always has a first aid kit on him, packed to the brim with bandages, splints, medicine, you name it.

Weaknesses:
Emmanuel is strong and fast, but he's not the toughest. He relies on speed and reflexes. He does a good job of dodging bullets most of the time, he's certainly fast enough, but if he gets it, it's gonna hurt. A lot.
Water makes him uncomfortable. It doesn't short him out, because his power is based entirely inside him, but it makes him really tingly all over, so he avoids it whenever possible.
His way of fighting is exhaustive.

Totally going to join back up with this, and I know LeeRoy will too, so count the two of us in.
Yeah, thats fine. I only wanted the posting order so no one interrupts theirs or someone else's conversation
"Oh, this is going to be great. Travelling with these people is sure to get me not murdered! Especially this bratty kid. He's not the sharpest in the shed, though he certainly does seem like a tool. I hope I don't have to do anything drastic to him." Braud thinks to himself as he sees the door slowly raise up in response to Finn's touch. He makes a mental note to always be ready to act with a party member down in case Finn goes and gets his dumbass killed. Which might not take too long, because Braud has a suspicion that the kid will launch himself at the first enemy he sees, armed or not. Which, seeing that there is a group of enemies right behind said door, his thesis will probably be proved very shortly.

While taking into account his options, he sees some sort of elf launch himself at one of the opponents. Okay he'll probably die, so disregard him. Mr. Sunshine, oddly enough, stands and waits in a poised position. Would have thought he'd charge immediately as well. Didn't really give him enough credit. Braud does the same, not moving towards them at all, but instead raising his hands chest level and thrusting them outward. With a sharp yell, a meaty projectile forms in between his hands and rockets forward, whistling through the air towards the fellow with the hatchet. He seems frail and fragile enough, so the meatball should either: Rocket right through him, or: Cripple him by breaking all of his bones where it hits. Either way seems pretty effective. After firing, Braud takes a couple of deep breaths and backs up slightly. He can fire a lot of those, but its probably best to not get too used to using magic when they havent even really started yet.
I think thats a good idea too. I'd hate for this to grind out to a close right when I get into it
