Hello there!
So I guess I can give a little blurb about myself to start things off. My name is Kay, I'm 22, and I've been roleplaying for about ten years now.
As far as rules go, I don't have many and I'm not really a strict enforcer. All I ask is that you:
- Can at least give me one paragraph of content that I can actually reply to. I certainly don't mind long posts either.
- Aren't impatient. I haven't been too bad with reply speed lately, but sometimes it takes me a while to kick my brain into gear. That mostly depends on the length of the posts, though. Shorter ones usually come faster.
- Can handle mature topics. You know, the usual sex, violence, and gore kinda thing. I like to get pretty dark with some of my roleplays, so bear that in mind. I'm usually fine with whatever gets brought up, but I will definitely respect and work around your limits if you have any.
- Are literate. I'm fine with spelling and grammar mistakes here and there, but it gets a lot less fun when I have to spend an hour deciphering what you're trying to say.
- Can play the male or don't mind doubling.
- Don't mind doing this via PM.
- Don't mind playing a dominant character. I'm just not good at it, and I have a lot more fun with a partner who isn't afraid to play someone a bit more domineering. I do like fluffier relationships sometimes as well, so I can make exceptions!
Since that's out of the way, we can get to the good stuff!
Just as a little key, the roles I have in parentheses are the ones I'd like to play, and ones with an asterisk* are ones that I'm craving.Medieval Fantasy:
(Princess) x Guard
Arranged Marriage
Demon Warrior x (Cleric)
Knight x (Disguised female knight)
(Tribute) x Demon King
(Slayer) x Demon
(Mage) x Hunter
(Noblewoman) x Bandit
Plot: After a long war, the invaders are finally looking to come out on top. The smaller kingdom has lost most of their army, making it nearly impossible to fend off the approaching forces. Before the castle is besieged, the king sends his daughter away under a light guard to an allied kingdom. If she could find safety there, he would feel much better. However, she is intercepted by an enemy scouting party and is brought back to their General as a hostage.
Plot: The ruling family used to govern the land with benevolence, and the people under their rule flourished. However, after a tragic accident, the king was never quite the same and was soon unfit to rule. His eldest son began taking on more responsibilities, effectively standing in for his father without officially taking the throne for himself. He began his rule well enough, although that soon declined. The commoners suffered and the upper class remained as comfortable as ever. He demanded unfair taxes, bleeding the poor dry. After a drought and a plague ravaged the unaided countryside, the people decided they'd had enough and staged a revolt. The rebels, wanting to take the prince out, sent newer recruits to the castle in order to gather intelligence. One such recruit who just happened to have a grudge to settle foolishly tried doing it on her own. She was caught, and the prince himself will to see to her questioning and punishment.
Plot: A clan of demons and elves have been feuding for generations, and it only seemed to get worse as time wore on. The issue at hand is a source of power. The elves currently have it, but the demons need it to flourish. That obviously leads to quite a bit of violence between the two. When a demon who would rather see the fighting end discovers a wounded elf stranded in their territory, he decides to help aid in her recovery even if it puts both of them at risk.
Plot: Humans have traded in Fey since they discovered them. They were few in number to begin with, and through that buying and selling some races were completely deprived of freedom. Some remained undisturbed, as they are generally witty and elusive beings. The Sidhe were one such race, inhabiting an island in the tropics with only one human settlement. When a curious and somewhat naive young Fey sneaks into the town, she finds that the humans they had once trusted had tipped off a crew of hunters. She was promptly caught and sent to the mainland to be sold as the first of her kind to be found. A notorious collector attended this auction and purchases her, wanting to add her to his growing collection.
Plot: Although the area has been settled for a great many years, the wilderness is still a treacherous place to be. When a wandering mage stumbles across a knight who has been wounded (or is in any sort of peril), she aids him and asks for nothing more than his company in return. After many trials, they finally reach the safety of civilization. Over the time spent together, they have formed a close bond. That bond is put to the test when the knight learns that the mage he's been traveling with also happens to be a wanted criminal.
Plot: The kingdom of Arden once flourished under the fair rule of their king. Unfortunately, he fell prey to a mysterious illness and died, leaving the kingdom to his wife. She was quick to show her true colors once she was in power. She summoned three evil spirits to do her bidding, giving them human bodies to occupy while under her command. One could cause unimaginable pain to his victim. The second could peer into the mind of another to breathe life into their darkest memories or worst fears. His victims rarely remain sane. The third could completely drain a person of their energy and absorb it as her own, where she used it for regenerating. They, along with the queen's army, keep the peasants quiet.
A few years later, an guild of assassins called the Black Adders begin taking in special recruits. They all have unique abilities that could give them the necessary edge to kill the queen's servants, and then eventually the queen herself.
Plot: Mages were once respected in the kingdom and those neighboring it. After a change in religion and rule, they were deemed unholy and became something less than human in the eyes of the masses. Enslaving them became popular, and to own one soon became an expression of power and wealth. Many were used as weapons, and many were used as entertainment. When a freshly captured mage is given to a nobleman as a gift, the two naturally don't get along. However, a rebellion of free mages breaks out in a nearby city, eventually forcing the two of them to work together to stay alive.
Plot: Scattered across the land, there are a few remote schools where people are free to learn and practice magic. They're only set away from the rest of society because magic is indeed a dangerous thing. One school has begun dabbling in forbidden magics, and because of that they unleashed a dark force into the world. They would take no part in banishing this being, however, so it's up to the remaining mages to defeat it and restore peace. Of course, the being isn't all they'll be facing.

Plot: As teenagers, they were close friends. He left without a word or a way to keep in touch, not knowing how to tell anyone about what he'd become. Years later, he decides to pick his old friend as a mate. That brings a slew of new problems. Will she even be willing when he comes back to her?
Plot: St. Mary's Summer Camp claims that it can reform even the worst teens. The place looks nice and safe from the outside, but that is quickly shown to be false. The campers aren't well regulated, which causes trouble pretty often. The majority of the staff are unnecessarily strict, with some even going so far as to be somewhat abusive. While the activities and 'classes' are constructive and helpful, it doesn't seem to make up for everything else.
Plot: There is a part of society that very few mortals know of. If they do, it's either because they're in the business of killing the supernatural creatures that thrive in it, or because they are about to witness something rather unpleasant. Vampires have facilitated a slave trade, mostly consisting of humans but also including the odd werewolf for sport. They are used for a variety of means, although it's popular to have a human slave for the obvious use of feeding. When a spirited, impetuous young woman training to be a slayer is caught, she is promptly sent out to be sold. That was part of the reason the vampire decided to buy her; he enjoyed the thought of the unique challenge she posed.
Plot: A powerful family of vampires has settled into the city, effectively breaking the uneasy truce between the humans and the vampires by violating the basic laws - don't kill when feeding, and don't turn humans indiscriminately. This causes a different group of vampires to band with a slayer organization in order to get the problem under control. One of these vampires takes a relatively inexperienced slayer under his wing when it's plain that she needs help with more than just her training.
Plot: Channeling the dead relatives of people she didn't know was starting to get very old. So, a young medium decides to flex her abilities and summon a spirit. In her excitement, she makes a horrible mistake. Instead of calling forth a benevolent being, she accidentally opens a portal for demons to slip through. Before she can close it, at least one demon gets free. He decides that he likes what he sees and sticks around. If having a clingy demon around wasn't bad enough, they soon realize that something bigger and badder managed to get through too. After a harrowing run-in with the being, they realize it could mean trouble for the both of them.
