Rand gave a nod to Penny. "Yeah, this whole thing is insane. Just when we get somewhere safe I'll explain it all to you alright?" Rand said, looking back at where he saw the lycan. "Speaking of which we need to get going." Rand took Penny's hand and began moving at a brisk pace, keeping aware of their surroundings. If the lycan attacked them Rand could defend them for a bit with the stick and may even be victorious, but the problem would be if it brought friends or used Penny to its advantage. "I'm not sure where the others are right now. With any luck we'll run into them," he said in response to her questions. "We might be safer to go to that cave with a boulder blocking it." It was fairly far from their location but it really was the only place he could actually lead them to that it might be worth the risk. Where would the other hunters be anyway? He supposed they had found shelter or gotten out of here. Either seemed viable, maybe he should trying to get them far away from this place too. "I'd also be more comfortable searching for them in the daytime."
Connor rested against a tree, gaining back his breath. He needed to focus now so he could get back to the cave. He looked back at where the lake was, hopefully whatever that creature was didn't change their mind about him. What was that thing anyway? He couldn't recall any water creatures like that in his training, but then again there were so many that he still had yet to learn. Connor sighed, he didn't want to just guess where the cave was. When he went out with Phil he had been keeping track of markers, but in order to find the markers he'd have to go back to the stream, where that lake had been so close to. Maybe giving a wide arc would have to be the answer. Connor shook his head and started walking, becoming far more aware of his surroundings.
Mat cocked his head slightly as he tried to understand what the girl was talking about. Us? Mat wondered, Is this girl like Gollum or something? He didn't feel like that was the right question to ask. He reconsidered running again. "Uh, can you explain what you're talking about? I'd love to understand." Or should I be taking advantage and running? Mat wondered. Did I really hit that hard to loosen a screw in her head? What he was also curious on was the mention of shadows to travel. Mat turned his head away, staring at the dark forest. He took another few steps back but then remembered how exhausted he already became. He'd probably just end up puking again.

Yeah that's good, you don't have to ask someone for money, and you can do whatever you want with the money.

Always a great perk!

I'm doing pretty good. I will try to have a post up soon that's if I don't get distraced with playing the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion.

My friend got really addicted to that game, is it that good?
So how's it been going for everyone?
Any chance for revival?
Connor looked around as he heard the voice. Was he really being spared or another trick? His question was soon answered as he was ejected out of the water. The hunter hit the ground hard, giving a slight moan. Fortunately he wasn't too badly hurt or he would still be here. Connor quickly got up and backed away from the lake. "Yeah, keep the bucket," he muttered as he ran back to the cave where Paige and Mars were. The hunter stopped as he noticed a problem. Where was he?
Mat stood for a while in shock as the girl who had seemed like she wanted to kill him earlier now seemed...different. He heard the girl yelling about some dragon and took a step back. Mat looked behind him, should he start running? Was this a trick or did he actually do something to affect her? "Uh..." He literally had no idea what to do or say. His instincts told him to run but his curiosity kept him there. "You have no idea why I punched you? No recollection?" He didn't want to say that she was pursuing him incase it was a memory lapse and him saying it to her would have her remember.
Rand took several steps back from the lycan, looking around for a weapon. It growling was not a good sign as it likely meant it was going to attack him. Rand rushed to a tree and snapped a branch off. It was about two feet long and the tip was hardly sharp but it was all he had. Rand faced the lycan again but was surprised as it morphed back into human form. That was not a usual move.

The familiar shouts of Penny made Rand whip his head over to where he heard the voice. Lure me out? He wondered, then stared back at the lycan. "Stay away, I've killed three lycans together with less than this," he threatened. It was slightly true, but he did take them by surprise and had to have Perrin assist him. Rand turned to run to where Penny's voice was. "Penny! Penny! Stay where you are! I'll come find you!" He shouted, running towards where he heard her. Rand kept an eye back where the lycan was, ready for any kind of attack. Rand finally found Penny and stopped. "Penny, we need to get out of here now. Stay with me this time alright?" Rand held out his hand but also remained vigilant for any other attackers.
Mat groggily looked up at the girl who was staring down at him who looked quite annoyed. He attempted to get up but lurched over and puked instead. His chest surged with pain. Was running pointless this time? She definitely had him now. Mat looked at the girl and the trees. Delaying the inevitable was always fun, but maybe he could catch her off guard too. Mat slowly got up and took a step back from the girl. "One last try?" Mat started for the tree nearby but then suddenly turned to swing a punch at the girl. Right before he threw his fist he hesitated slightly. This girl did not look like a threat at all yet was able to seemingly teleport around and sounded like she did not want to go out with him but instead kill him. With those final thoughts Mat swung his fist hard, hoping to get a good hit.
Rand went to the area where he saw the deer had been eating grass. It had seemed to react to his stick being thrown but was possibly alerted by something else. Was it another human? Supernatural creatures wouldn't be after this livestock so he supposed so. "Hello? Anyone there? I'm friendly, I just want to help," Rand called around not too loudly. His eyes were bad at piercing the darkness, he'd have to walk out closer. Rand considered his options and sighed. A civilian was unlikely to come out at these times and Rand had no way to prove that he was friendly. He stepped forward, using the moon to his advantage as he looked. Rand suddenly caught sight of a head looking up. The hunter smiled at first, then frowned and gave a curse, falling down on his back in surprise. "Stay the hell away from me!" Rand threatened, getting back up and staring at the lycan. Lycan, obvious weakness is silver. I don't have silver. Other options? Fire? No, and that takes too long. Only likely option would be stab to the heart.
Got a quick post up, now off to watch Walking Dead!
Mat looked around but failed to see where the girl had gone. He couldn't have shaken her off that easily could he? She did appear right above him moments ago. Mat looked up out of memory. Nope, not there. Should he keep going through the trees? He supposed so. Mat took another step and the branch underneath him suddenly snapped. He yelped as he fell to the ground.
Rand turned his head as he heard movement nearby. At first he couldn't see anything, then all of a sudden a buck went running past him. Did he cause that? He didn't hear anything else so he supposed so. Rand looked at where the buck had ran, then back to where it came from. Mine as well check, he thought as he began to walk that direction.
