HUZZAH
Johnny listened to Water's speech with little interest. His mind kept wandering, traveling from subject such as how delicious breakfast had been, to wondering what it was that was going through Suki's mind right now, she seemed to be having no problem concentrating, or perhaps she was just better at faking it than he had given her credit for, he also wondered what all these people looked like without the orangeish-reddish tint to them that his sunglasses caused, but he would probably end up never finding out, the only people he had ever trusted with his glasses off were his brothers, and these people, no mater how good-looking, well meaning, or funny, some of them were, weren't his family, or at least not yet. The bell brought him back to his senses so suddenly that he almost fell over. He breathed a sigh of relief and tried to go over what he had actually heard from Water's speech "Will=Magical ability, can create things.......something about becoming water...." Johnny shrugged it off, figuring that the real work started tommorow anyway.
"I grew up working on the beasts" Eddy said, eager that he had been given a chance, and smiling to match the Captain's own. "Not to mention 5 years experience working on The High King, a merchant vessel, only three breakdowns in that entire time, also 2 years on The Stray Cat, a um....an um....an 'independent contractor', only 2 breakdowns that entire time, and only one explosion, and that one was due to the cabin boy being an idiot." Eddy was always slightly worried when it came to this part 'independent contractors' was a term used to designate a mercenary ship, often seen, sometimes rightfully so, as no better than pirates, but Eddy couldn't help his honest nature, so he continued "And on the contrary, Cap'n, I prefer working on older models, generally they have more character, more reliable than these new turbo charged ones" Eddy said as he casually tried to see over the desk at what it was this woman had written on the contract.
Puddleheart mewed her reply to Sparrowstar's words "That sounds like a wise course of action" she said shortly, letting her leader get all of her thoughts out before she responded with "Those sound like wise courses of action. What are you planning on doing about the food shortage?"
Jason had to clench his fist to keep himself from acting on the request of Jack, and was forced to remind himself that punching John's lights out wouldn't solve anything, well it would make Jason feel better, but it wouldn't really solve the problem. So Jason took a deep breath and, sensing that his companion was getting just as worked up as he had been but moments previously, Jason scratched Lucky behind the ears, a gesture that always calmed the canine down. Jason's head turned as he heard Josiah begin to speak.

Jason pondered a moment, and then teleported next to Josiah, using the direction and distance the voice had come from and then aiming for the patch of grass a few inches feet away, making sure to grab Lucky's pelt and take the dog with him before doing so, for some reason whenever Jason 'ported, as he called it, Holding onto lucky always made him feel more confident, and as a result he tended to be more accurate. Jason responded to the question that had been asked upon appearing near the asker "I haven't gotten my schedule yet, and to tell you the truth I'd almost forgotten about it, what with being so caught up in doing so much nothing, let's go" Jason chuckled at his own joke as he joined Josiah, wondering if the strange twins would join them.
Eddy stood up as he heard the Captain call out next, he entered and presented himself, of average height and stocky, his dark skin glinted in the sun and his eyes always looked like they were made of gold at least they did on the docks, "Eddy Khamisi, Mechanic/Engineer for Hire Cap'n" Eddy drawled in the accent of his hometown, crossing his arms as he waited for the tall woman's response, a lot of gliders that passed through these areas already had a engineer and one didn't really need another but his face displayed his laid back attitude, and he was grateful for that. His tattoos crossed as his arms did, making the intricate design that covered his entire flesh look even more complex.
Eddy strolled through the town, taking his time as he passed various venders, holding small, light, friendly conversations with them as he held his large arms by his side, nervously cracking his knuckles, see he knew most of the venders in the market, and was afraid that his friendliness with them might cost him his place on the Averice. Finally, he made it to the tent where the sheet said to meet, hearing voices inside the tent he sat down next to it, figuring someone else was probably in there, dear gods he hoped it wasn't another engineer, but he shrugged it off, either this would work out or it wouldn't. It was then that Eddy noticed a particularly large Trajak with some particularly large spear-like things sitting nearby, Nodding at the being, Eddy casually asked "You too huh?"
"Pleasure to meet you Kyla, I'm Johnny" Johnny said politely, looking the new acquaintance up and down, analyzing her, scanning her almost, noticing her lack of sleep and hunched shoulders.
"That would be wonderful, I kind of just Improvised, figured these robes needed a tune-up..." Johnny tried to keep himself from feeling embarrassed by how stupid he must look with unevenly cut sleeves, as he responded to Suki's inquiry.
Puddleheart was quiet for a time, allowing her Leader to finish her thoughts and feelings, dipping her head as she did, then all was quiet as she thought carefully on how to respond, before ultimately saying
"I will ask Starclan for guidance on this, but If I may be so bold as to offer my own advice, perhaps that is what would be healthier for them, perhaps that is even the best choice, but is it the right one? That's something you must decide for yourself, for ultimately you are the one who must live with the decision, but I can say this, our clan believes in you Sparrowstar, the kit that died over two moons ago, you were her biggest hero. The three warriors we lost to the snow? Luckyear, Barkfur, and Rainsoul all believed in you, they believed in what you are doing, and what you will do in the future. the elders believed in you, I believe you, hell, I was just thinking about how this experience will be good for Skypaw, teaching her how to take care of herself and the clan. I guess what I'm saying is that the clan believes in you, and whatever decision you come to the clan will stand by it." Puddleheart finished her speech and looked at Sparrowstar, hoping she hadn't overstepped her bounds.

Ah. Interesting. I'm going to have to think bout this, for the robes have magical properties of their own. But I think I can work with it.

Whew, good, I was really worried you'd be mad, and that was not at all my intention
