Jason listened as Jack/John's footsteps led away from the table, not turning to touch his own food until the two had past, having eaten their rather quickly, Jason took in the smell of his own, Josiah had guessed well, a good medley of meat and vegetables, he sniffed deeply, taking it all in as the savory meats and cheeses mixed their smells and created a quite vivid picture of what was before him. "No need to lose too much excitement, Tia was it? Plenty of people are going to be in the elemental training, and most of them will be new, you'll make friends in no time" Jason smiled, adding a bit of an apologetic tone to his voice as he took a bite of the delicious food and made sure to pass a little to Lucky. "MMMMM, thanks Joe, that really hit the spot, So, what'd you get this year?"
Oscar was shocked at first, the experience so surreal that he almost fully believed that he was dreaming, but the sudden anger and yelling at him, not to mention the strange chill in the air brought him back to reality, he heard that last bit of her words Oscar, cant you go any faster? I'm beginning to not be able to feel my fingers... "W-w-what oh, oh...yeah" and with that he jumped into action, his heart thumping in his chest, he rushed over to the sink and he began to isolate and analyze the ice that was surrounding Erin's hands, his analytical instincts kicking in, he found it, a small crack in the ice, and quickly applied the appropriate force to the crack, shattering the ice around Erin's hand, praying to the gods that Erin's hand wouldn't go with the ice, that it was simply surrounding them.

"How very greek, that one of the iciest people I know should be in a sudden and very real danger of frostbite" Oscar dared not think out loud, but thought to himself, extraordinarily not even letting a small chuckle escape his lips as he quickly turned the sink on to warm and shoved Erin's fingers and hands under it, making sure that it wasn't scalding, simply very warm. He stayed there, making sure all of her finger's were still attached and useful, until he felt comfortable that they all were. afterword he slumped down into a chair and took a deep breath saying "Well that was all rather adrenaline pumping wasn't it" he chuckled to himself, wiping a bead of sweat from his brow, finally noticing how hot it was in the kitchen as compared to the adjoining room.

As Oz sat in the chair, chuckling to himself to relieve some of the excess adrenaline that had come with the rush earlier, he considered going out and teaching the little punk who had done this a lesson, after all he had attacked a fellow camper, perhaps not on purpose but that was no excuse, he had certainly done more for less, but Oscar disregarded the thought for several reasons, the first was that Oz would get his chance to wail on the kid, now that he had agreed to join the sparring group, the second was that it wasn't his right, not only was Adam Erin's boyfriend, and as such had first dibs on deciding how to proceed, but he also barely knew any of the group he had just had a meal with, it was hardly within his rights to attack one of them for the sake of the other, and lastly, Oscar just didn't feel like getting up, the meal had been good, and the sudden rush and then lack of adrenaline hadn't helped how sleepy a good meal always made him feel. He yawned, and asked "You okay?" in the direction of Erin.
Sorry bout taking 5 days to respond, the beach called, it needed me, badly.
Oscar noticed the girl do something that he knew she did very rarely, if at all, smile, it was a good smile, and semi-infectious, so Oscar let his own lips begin to curve in an upward direction as he listened to Erin's response to his statement with interest, keeping in mind that while, yes, greeks as a whole were a secretive people, he had been promised that the pair of them, Erin and himself, would talk about it, in addition to several statements that hunted at interesting events in her past had come up, he simply shrugged off the notion with an inner thought of "She'll tell me when she's ready, or she won't, either way, these things have a tendency of coming to light" he made sure not to say any of this out loud of course, that might make things awkward and nobody wanted that.

"That's very......enlightened, of you" Oscar said after the quiet moment that proceeded the daughter of Hades's statement on how she treats everything fairly "and admirable, not many others would be able to give all animals such a fair shot" then Oscar waited a moment before continuing a little more wryly as he picked up a rag nearby and dried off his wet hands on it, tossing it to Erin as he did so. "Besides, I'm pretty sure there aren't any places that deliver up here"
Oscar paused and watched carefully as the girl put the remaining food into the containers and put the containers into her bag. As she did so he kept at cleaning the various dishes, and after hearing her response to his question he stopped for a moment, pausing only long enough to come up with a response before continuing his labor "I never said you were stupid, I simply implied that you might be unknowledgeable about various species of birds is all" then his tone became more somber, after all she had ust revealed something about her life to him, and while that not seem like much, the greeks are a very secretive, yet hospitable, people by nature,so he figured that perhaps the best way to approach this was by a means more subtle than his usual bluntness "sounds like a bad dude, at least you have Adam now" he decided on, keeping more of his original bluntness than he had originally intended. He quickly moved on "Why are you so eager to help if you not only prefer cats, but have some bad experiences associated with birds?"

He worried that perhaps it was too much though, as he waited for her reply, moving through the, albeit somewhat small, pile of dishes at a reasonable rate, he looked down at his work, worried of what would happen should he meet her eye, worried of what he might be reminded of, or who, or of the memories that might come back up, as well as Vice versa, he knew that everybody at the camp not only had secrets, but had experiences in the past that they preferred stayed there, and while it wasn't often that they did, that never seemed to quiet the swarms of people willing to try.
"Try not to sound so excited" Oscar laughed in response to Erin's remarking on the 'sparring group'. He looked around the table, a rag-tag team to be sure, but not without potential, certainly it would be interesting to see how Peter and Adam interacted, and while he had never actually seen any of them in the arena, including Erin, he was certainly looking forward to the experience. Upon seeing the rather grouchy girl get up and begin to clear as she volunteered her, admittedly unproven to Oscar, avian training skills, Oscar joined her, finishing up his own plate of food, not too quickly, he was still enjoying the savory sensation of the way the chicken almost melted in his mouth, the perfect texture of the mashed potatoes and the mixing thereof.

"If you're as good with animals as you are with people, I'm sure you'd be the perfect person to help retrain HIM" Oscar retorted sarcastically, his tone made it clear that the tanned boy was joking, for the most part, and putting a good amount of subtle emphasis on the capitalized word. He did this as he moved to help clean up, taking a couple plates himself, never one to leave one person to do all the work, he took the serving plates, some of which still had food on them, as well as his own plate, and stacking it on top of the others as he passed Erin in the kitchen, he took up his post in a nearby sink and began to help out, taking a bit off the top of the large pile of dishes that lay on the countertop between the two sinks. "So, what IS with you and Lucky? do you just not like large birds? or do you ACTUALLY think he's a pigeon, cuz he's not" Oscar remarked casually, putting nothing more than basic curiosity behind the inquiry as he began cleaning the plates.

Hahaha, do not going to kill you at all, to be honest I got caught up in the roleplay and I forgot about it all together to be honest. Thank you for reminding me. I'll allow Oscar to be the counselor for his cabin. So he'll be in on the organising of camp activities. I had the thought if leaving them for a bit though so that our characters can get used to one another first. As the roleplay goes on I'll assign the other councelors. Sound good? :3 Also, I think my girl owed Oscar an explanation for her earlier words o: if that's the case your post xD

Sounds good.
Umm.....what words? Oh right, those words
Um......speaking of counselors, how is that being done? Just you two and the rest of them are NPCs? Or are other people's character cool to be them also? I only ask because I kinda asked for Oscar to be a counselor at character creation and you said, and I quote

Counsellor's of cabins get chosen by myself and my Co-GM, this will happen before the IC begins.

For the record, I don't mind having to convince people in the event something comes up, and that probably wouldn't change, making allies and whatnot, besides it makes for some fun RP, just kinda wanted this cleared up......please don't kill me.
You can try, but I think you'll find Cabin 17 isn't an opponent to be disregarded so quickly
