Also on a side note I am planning to add some additional members of the De Reimer family, namely two cousin's to make the De Reimer family seem a bit bigger. Afterall it is a major family which currently only has three members.

@PhoenixWhite Any idea when your next post may be up?
I have finished the magic guide and it should be up on the reference sheet soon.
@Sundered Echo I can summarize the skill-sets of the tier 1 mages with 2 letters: OP :p. Hence why there are only two of them. And the Elven Imperium has six 'tier 1' Mages and 1 mage I would consider 'Tier 0'.
@Sundered Echo The reason Drevala is tier 4 is because she is incredible skilled as a shape shifting (a rare type of magic in it'self. Shape shifting is extremely powerful magic when used correctly (hell Drevala killed a dragon on her own) and the fact that she can use it with such proficiency is why she is so high.

Very good I look forward to reading it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

As you all know certain elements in this RP are decided by chance (i.e battles, success of a spy, outcome of certain events, etc). However these situations are very few and as a result most of the RP is very story driven with a clear goal/ending in mind for their characters.

What I propose is that we ditch the whole chance based element and have the outcome of events and the direction of the story decided through discussion between us. I want to make this clear; people will still have control of over their character actions and choices and the choices they make will still effect the outcome of the story, but the outcome of these choices will be decided through discussion with each other rather than a roll of a dice.

I simply feel as if this is the best way to continue the RP. After all there is currently a lot of great set up with different characters and their said story lines and I don't want half of them to be suddenly cut short and given disappointing endings because of a unexpected dice roll.

Of course this decision is up to you as well. I would like to hear everyone's opinion on this change to the RP. I am more than happy to continue as we are now if that is what everyone else wants. If you have any questions let me know.
@PhoenixWhite Indeed. No one knows what happened to him...except me :p. The Remonnets have had two mages in there family. One was a third child who was shipped off to the circle and was discouraged from having children and the other was a king who again didn't have children (what with him disappearing). As a result any magic in the Remonnet bloodline died out with both of them. House Mazeltof and House De Reimer are currently the only two High noble houses that still have something of a magic bloodline (particularly Mazeltof).

@Sundered Echo

I imagine she would be in tier 5 if that is OK with you. Though that may seem low compared to the other people on the chart do remember that it still makes her one of the most powerful mages in all of formaroth.

Given that house De Reimer has also had mages within their family before (and weren't discouraged from having children, unlike most nobles houses) the chances of having another mage on the throne will be higher than most.

Also something that everyone can help me out on: I was planning to add in more continents as well as other species. Here were a few idea's I had so far:

1)A reptilian type race that inhabits a jungle/marshy continent. Currently at war with the Imperium and have lost half their land to the elves. Has a very tribal based society that bands together when they need too.

2)A Avian type race that has been conquered by the Elven Imperium for centuries. They inhabit a very lush and green continent and originally lived in mountain cities and towns. Though the species has the capability to fly many have their wings removed at birth by their Elven masters. They are a very peaceful and gentle people, making their enslavement all the more sadder.

3)A species that bears reasonable resabalance to humans. They inhabit the largest continent in the World and like Formaroth and Beilokias their species is far spread. They pose the biggest direct threat to the Imperium and have very tense relations.

4) I was also thinking about adding another human kingdom (small Island) somewhere in between Formaroth and Beilokias and would very much be Feudal Japan in terms of culture.

Anyway What I was going to ask was what you think of my current idea's and if you have any ideas for species/civilization please do share.
@MacabreFox Via city yes. TBF there are probably more mages in the cities as they have the greatest opportunities there. Although not everyone who has the potential to use magic can use it at the same level of proficiency. Also magical abilties do travel through bloodlines. If your family has a history of having mages in your family then it is more likely you will be a mage.

The Total population of Formaroth is: 21,900,000 (excluding the Desert and mountain tribes). Therefore the rough estimate of magical individuals in Formaroth is around 43,800.

I have yet to do Total population for Beilokias yet. However there are more elves than humans in the world and elves are more likely to inhabit magical abilties than Humans, so if including elves as well the total number of mages would be higher. This actually reminds me I still need to get the magical lore written up :/ .
@MacabreFox Also I did the Maths for Mage:Mundane ratio and it came out at 1:500. That means that in every million there are two thousand who have magical abilities.
@MacabreFox Given these are medieval cities the population sizes are quite small (at least in comparison to today's standards). Back in those days near everyone lived in a rural area. I would say the populations are as follows:

1)Nyhem: 50,000
2)Vine: 45,000
3)Mercy: Too be decided by @PhoenixWhite
4)Andromeda: 30,000
5)Cawaport: 25,000
OK Update:

Me and @Hygswitch are nearing the end of our Collab and it should be up soon. I will also be starting a collab with @Sundered Echo which hopefully won't take too long.

@Klomster @AndrewCooper How is your collab going?

Also lore update:
Mercy is now the 5th city to inhabit Formaroth. The cities ranked by size are as follows:

1)Nyhem: Massive
2)Vine: Massive
3)Mercy: Massive
4)Andromeda: Huge
5)Cawaport: Large
