Virgil looks like his busy with his thoughts. Nicholas shrugged and decided to let him be, so he went off ahead to where the Slytherins are. Sure enough, Lonan is there, and what appears to be Skylar Brookes of the Ravenclaws. What is she doing here? Nicholas thought. Ahh, whatever. Nicholas sat across Lonan near the window, placing his book bag and Hopper's (his owl) cage beside him. "I heard there's a change to Gryffindor's Keeper." He said as a way of greeting. "Gregory's bitching about it the whole summer, saying he'll personally kill Potter if its some bloody first year that replaced Hoot's position. It's his last year at Hogwarts, and he's meaning to get a good fight before he gets out there. I say bugger Gregory."
Nicholas yawned. Staying up for several consecutive days is finally taking its toll on him. "Dont..." He yawned again, "Dont mention it. Just... Just try not to set off the sprinkler system again." He walked off towards the door, but he was too dizzy to even make a decent step. He had to lean towards the wall just so he wont fall right off. "Man, is it just me or the floor just decided to go all gooey on me."
Try free roleplay they said, it'll be easy they said. ;-; I havent had any RP for years and I'm out of practice so my english kinda sucked. lol Awesome posts though. I need to keep up. Hah. I'm majoring psychology and human sociology.
Nicholas looked at the remnants of Tatiana's guitar, and then looked at Lizzy. The boy sighed. "Do you really think I'll fall for that." This is what makes the role of being an older brother tough, you have to understand everything before they even tell you anything. It's your duty to find out yourself. He looked around the room, apparently, the sprinkler system here's not working but the detector works fine, otherwise this two would be soaking wet as well. Nicholas gave another sighed. How could he overlook this one. He looked towards the far side of the room and saw a TV set, and a metal electric fan. That will do. Nicholas concentrated his thoughts towards the two objects, waved his hand a little, and the two objects started to disassemble part by part in an intricately beautiful way, bobbing and floating away in an organized manner, and then with a flick of his finger, they started to reconstruct, coming together in places, forming an elaborate sytem of circuitry and then a frame. Once everything's in the right place, Nicholas picked up the new object and looked at it like a master craftman look at his master piece, he nodded approvingly, "This should do. Its a little heavier than your old guitar but I placed several new features in it that should help you with your playing. I'll list them down for you and how to use them, if you want. But it includes a built-in metronome, a recorder, and li-ion battery-powered amplifier that should last around 50 hours. Its smartphone-controled as we-" Nicholas stopped, here he goes again, full on geek mode. "Ahh well, the thing is, you shouldnt be worrying about it burning up like the old one. Here." Nicholas gave the new electric guitar to Tatiana. And then he looked at Lizzy, "You should learn how to control it, kid." He said a little concern.
His mum and dad was just about to finish their final words for their sons when Gregory went off ahead without even saying goodbye. He hates it when they start on the pep talk. "S'kay, I'll talk to him later." Nicholas offered dutifully, seeing the pained looks of his parents as their other son walks away. His mother forced a smile, and planted a soft kiss on his right cheek, and said to take care and be good. His father walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Go get that cup, son." Nicholas nodded, and smiled, "I will."

After saying his goodbyes, Nicholas then walked off hurriedly towards the crowded train station to his designated train compartment. As far as he's concerned, he doesnt care about his git of a brother or any of these teary-eyed buggers miling about here today. He's only concern now is winning that Inter-House Quidditch Cup this year. They were so close last year for if it wasnt for that Potter boy, and his Father power tripping. What else could it be? It was clear (in his opinion) that they should have won the cup, though it was a close fight.

Man, there sure is a lot of these first year buggers this year. The train station is literally over run by them, he had trudge over a couple groups of this lil shits so he can get to his compartment. Not far off, he saw Virgil amongst the "badgers". It was like looking at a snake ravenously slithering among a den of unsuspecting rodents. Its weird. Nicholas poked his head towards the door, "Hey, gon be at Hightower's. You coming?"
Name: Nicholas Higgs

Generation: Next Gen

Parents: Terrence Higgs and Katie Bell

Halfblood, Pureblood, or Muggle-Born: Pureblood

Best Class: Broom Flight Class

Worst Class: Potions

Crush: Open

Boyfriend/Girlfriend: Open

Sexuality: Bicurious

Age: 15

Year: 5th

House: Slytherin

History: Both his parents played for the House Quidditch Team, his father playing the position of Seeker for Slytherin (until Draco Malfoy changed him), and his mother playing the position of Gryffindor's Chaser. Coming from two different houses, no one would've suspect that the two would actually end up together. But their love for Quidditch won over anything which soon brought them to become particularly close, and after awhile (a really really long while), finally decided to settle down. Nicholas is last of the three siblings. His second brother being on his last year on Hogwarts (and currently playing the position of Keeper for Slytherin), and his first eldest brother seeking his career on International Quidditch, Nicholas is expected to carry the family tradition. Though Nicholas thinks there's nothing wrong with that, in fact, he likes it. More than anything, flying in a broom is the best feeling in the world and makes it even [damn] better with the crowd cheering loudly while you swoop and fly around in it.

Personality: Nicholas is goal driven and ambitious, though his aims are mainly focused towards being better at what he does best, and well, its got to be Quidditch or nothing. Though aside from Wizarding Sports, he also tries to do his best at anything he can get his hands on, trying to be the perfect son he's parents will be proud of (its not that they're not proud of him at this moment) since there's been this unspoken competition between the three brothers, and he wanted to make them see that not because his the last kid means his the weakest.

Wand: Twelve-and-a-quarter inches, cypress wood with dragon heartstring core, slightly pliable.

Appearance:

Other: Rule Number 6
A boy suddenly burst into the room (Lizzy's and Tatiana's), dripping wet and extremely pissed off. "Someone set off the Fire Sprinkler System and my detectors tell me it was triggered in this room." Nicholas said testily, "Who?" He's been working on a project for approximately 168 hours straight now, and was in the verge of his final tests when suddenly the sprinklers went off. Though no damage was unrepairable, still, it will take him another day to reconfigure everything and another for the test runs. A considerable short period of time but if it wasnt for his technopathy it will take a normal person years just to fix what the damned fire sprinklers has caused his project. Now going back to who caused it. "You better have a good explanation for this."
Nicholas used most of the morning arranging his things. Organizing vials of different magical ingredients into shelves, carefully classifying them based on their use and effects. Thankfully there's a little fireplace in his room where he can place his cauldron and do most of his potion work. He also set up half of the room into his work place which is much bigger compare to his previous work place in his nuncle's house. Stack of books put away neatly on his study table, plus a few apparatus for brewing things cluttered most of his desk. After making sure everything's in place, he decided its time to go.

At first glance, Nicholas looks like your typical witch boy. Black robes on, pointy hat, messy honey blond curls that frames his square face, pale skin, and a little skinny for his 6 and 4 height. His not much into fashion, but sees to it that he's decent to look at. He stand a wee bit too proud for most people's taste, but he likes it that way. His first way of establishing a wall around himself to new people. But today, he cant help but feel a little nervous. Its his first time getting out of that cave he calls a work place for what feels like ages. It makes him really uncomfortable seeing this much people around his age when the only interaction he had in years were with his nuncle and some old folks in their neighborhood.

He started to walk a little faster, his eyes straight ahead. Fortunately, he had memorized the directions of his rooms from the map the school gave him. It didnt took him long to get to his first class. But by the time he got there, a couple kids had already got there before him. He casually walked in and find himself a seat a little farther back near a window. He can feel a few eyes on him, but pretended to not notice them by looking around instead. Most of them are already engaged in conversations. Some are just waiting to be talked to or perhaps not interested in talking at all. He noticed that this has been the strangest sort he has seen so far, ranging from merfolk, to faerie folk, to demon folk, to vampires and ghouls, to strangely shiny looking kids he's probably ever laid eyes on. Nicholas just sat there, befuddled, wondering how he'll cope to all of these for the rest of the year.
Thanks. :) Now where to start? Any suggestion?
