Current I hate that old proverb "Look before you leap" I understand that its a good saying and sound advice. But sometimes you just have to go with your gut feeling and most of the time you don't leap ever.

So just a heads up, I'm going camping with my Family and I'll be gone until Friday. So I was just going to make her get lost in the forest for a while, living in trees or something. Or just put her on auto pilot. So sorry guys.
<Snipped quote by TheHunter>
"Or as hot tub, a hot tub would be nice too."
"The good news," She began turning back towards her veterinarian friend, "is that all three are still powered. Unfortunately, none of them seem to want to start for some reason."
"This is beyond me; do you know anything about the others in the party? Would they know anything about electric engines, do you think?"

Julia let out a smile as Kelly wished for a hot tub. They had been on this Island, not even a day, and someone was wishing for the luxuries of another life. She hadn't thought it would be Kelly. Julia jumped in one of the jeeps and tried to turn it on. It sputtered, but didn't rev to life. She let out an exasperated sigh. This wasn't going to be easy. The sky was rapidly darkening over head. The group had arrived late on the Island, and it wasn't looking good. They had no jeeps, the park was a good while away by walking, and everyone was ready to kill each other.

Julia listened as Kelly diagnosed the jeeps. Julia popped the hood, a small thunk resounded. The blonde jumped out of the jeep and opened the hood all the way. The blonde had worked with some cars in her father's auto shop, but it never interested her. Now she just wished she had paid more attention. Julia knew the basics, but they would need more than basics to get these jeeps running. Julia let out a sigh, and closed the hoods.

"No," Julia said simply," I don't know if they are." The vet looked over at Kelly and once again noticed her checking her out. This was getting old. "Look. You seem nice, and I don't want to get off on the wrong foot, but you're looking at me like a velociraptor looks at its prey. You seem nice, but stop treating me like some blonde headed bimbo."

Owen Grady

@Genni @TheHunter

"Guess we're gonna have a long walk," "'S gonna be about two hours, I guess. From what I remember about the island, anyways. Through that thick forest, since I'm not gonna be capable of repairing a Jeep, that's only working with electricity."

Julia stopped her little speech as Owen came into view of the jeeps. He watched them for a little and then started to speak. A two hours walked to the hotel. Damn. Julia's mind went into over drive. They were going to go on a walk in a jungle with animals that went extinct 65 million years ago. Perfect She took a deep breathe and then prepped herself mentally. Docks or make a run for the park? Logic said they should stay at the docks until morning where they wouldn't be in the jungle. But if they went in the jungle tonight, they might have a better chance of sneaking through. Either way was dangerous. Either way was a bad idea, but everything on this Island was a bad idea.
"A palaeo-veterinarian, huh?" "I think the plan is for us all to stand around here shouting at each other until the T-Rex turns up and eats us all."

"You wanna wait to be made into dinosaur poop, or should we check out what InGen left behind when they ran from this place?"

Julia stood watching the forest line. The breeze pushed and shove against it, making it appear like it was moving. That forest held thousands of monsters that could easily eat them. She gritted her teeth. The arguments that surrounded were beyond stupid. All because everyone's egos were so big that they couldn't set it aside. Their egos were bigger than the T-Rex. Her eyes narrowed at the people around her. if they continued on like this, they wouldn't make it through the first night. Julia finally jumped out of her thoughts, and turned to Kelly.

"We're all gonna get killed if we continue on like this," Julia said her blue eyes turning stormy. She manage to cool her small bit of temper. "Yeah. Let's go find some jeeps. " Julia took off toward the shed, not caring if Kelly was following. She walked along the small beach and finally reached the shed. The jeeps looked old and rusted down. Some pieces had rust so thick that it looked like a penny. Her eyes continued watching the forest. Something felt wrong.

I'm still interested

@TheHunter
"Hi there, I don't think we've met yet. I'm Kelly Ma... Kelly. Part of the tech support team for this little party," As she spoke Kelly let her eyes quickly wander down the woman's body, checking out the heavy pack and the field gear strapped to her. "I take you your part of the science team?" She asked, waving her hand vaguely at the equipment, some of which she recognised from her own aborted attempt to study the 'low sciences'.

"Are you okay with all that? it looks heavy," She continued, stepping a little closer and gently stroking her hand up Julia's arm. The pack really did look heavy to Kelly, but then again she was far more used to dealing with laptops and tablets, the kind of heavy equipment you could slip inside a small bag and swing from your shoulder without needing to strap yourself in to a weight distribution harness of any kind.

So Kelly was the fine looking girls name. She also seemed to be part of the tech team. Julia felt Kelly's eyes wander her body and rolled her eyes. She was used to be looking at like a piece of meat, but for hell's sake, they were on dinosaur island. Romance wasn't really on her mind. Survival and helping the animals was her main focus. "Yeah. I'm the Dinosaur Health Technician." Julia said, her voice in a controlled, and monitored politeness. She was going to be spending a while with these people, she had better make friends.

Julia watched as Kelly stepped forward and offered to help her. Julia had to refrain from smacking Kelly's arm away. "Thank You, but I'm good. " Julia readjusted the bag on her back, and doing this managed to shift a bit away from Kelly.She fixed her bag and wore it with confidence. "What's the plan?" she asked not to anyone in particularly. Her eyes gazed around the small group as most of the stuff had been unloaded. The others who had been their transportation looked like they would rather be dead than on the island. If they stayed on this for too long they might.

The air stood still outside the coffee shop. Julia took a deep breathe and narrowed her eyes. She had the powers for a reason. It was time for her to use them. She threw of her ridiculous shoes, and ran into the coffee house. There was a loud crunching of glass and a man flew through the window. Julia's eyes widened with surprise as she looked inside the coffee house. A man bent double had obviously done that,and another one on the ground. There were around 3 left. Easy peasy. Julia ran into the store and faster than the eye could see, grabbed the guns out of the attackers hand and quickly tore them down to the guns bare shells. The men weren't disable, but what would be the fun in that? "Out of all the places you could have attack, you choose a coffee house? What the Hell is that about? I mean come on. Honestly. They're just trying to make a living out of good coffee. Shameful guys," Julia said with a shake of her, as she sat on the counter looking at them.

Sorry!I've been a bit distracted lately! I'll get right on that!
"Half of you go North, the others south! Move out!" Julia barked the order. If reagan had gotten lost, this was bad news for everyone included. She rolled her eyes, and headed off into the wild jungle. She wasn't quite sure how she had gotten here. This was obscene. This world had gone to shit and now InGen had wanted to rebuild the park. This had failed so many times it was sad to watch. She rolled her eyes and trudged through the forest.
The wind had intensified in the last couple of moments. The young blonde headed back to cargo hold and grabbed the rest of her medical equipment. Her eyes gazed around the deck of the ferry. There were men of every size, shape and culture. Admittedly she hadn't been the friendliest person on board. She had studied through her old text books, making sure she remembered everything. Dinosaur anatomy was vastly different from anything scientist had discovered. It was the reason Julia had gone into it. It was interesting to her, and challenging. She grabbed her other bag, and headed down to the docks.

Julia let a small nod the surrounding crew that had already gathered there. Owen, some chick, Dr. White, and a man around her age. They all had a dismal state about them. A dark cloud that screamed there was no hope. That this mission would kill some of them. It was more than likely. People had died on the first trip to Jurassic world and people had died at Jurassic World.

The sky reflected their moods, dark and stormy. She could smell the rain coming. She assumed they would head inland to the park, and camp in one of the run down hotels. That is if nothing were in them all ready.She heard a course comment from Owen as she walked up and her eyes narrowed. She wasn't some bonde bimbo.
The waves crashed against the sandy shore besides the huge ferry. They had docked on the Island of Nublar. It was a sight to behold. You could see the dark shape of the buildings of Jurassic World off in the distance. Well, some of them anyway. Between the docks and Jurassic World, there was the magnificent forest that held numerous prehistoric creatures. The large ferry was gently being pushed by the waves that lapped against it. On this ferry at the front of the bow, stood a woman. Her blonde hair being pushed back by the breeze that rolled off the land. She wore cargo pants and a black shirt. A brown bag hung of her back filled to the brim with essential dinosaur medicines.

Julia Stiles, at twenty-six years of age had one of the most useless college degrees in the world. She had gone to four years of college to get a degree in Dinosauria Medicine. Another 4 years in an internship for Jurassic World, and she would have become a Health Technician at the park. Thanks to the damn Indominus Rex, she was working at an Under Armor store. Finally, a month ago a representative from InGen had come to her apartment and offered her, a very well paying expedition.

Admittedly, Julia knew that it was a bad idea. Jurassic World had collapsed on itself like a house of cards. She had luckily gotten out of there without harm or fault, but she had lost good friends to pterodactyls. She had lost her boyfriend to the Indominus, he was on the stun and containment group. He didn’t make it out.

For some insane reason, Julia was back. She loved the massive creatures. Yes; they were dangerous, yes; they would probably eat her if it came down to her, and yes; she might die on this trip. But if she had the chance to save a life in the process, it would be worth the whole miserable trip. Julia turned around and looked at the activity on the ferry. There was a silent but looking ready-to-kill Owen Grady, and Dr. White, a man that was an expert in genetics. This trip would be interesting, to say the least.
