Urtum nodded as they entered the elevator, "Do not know much about supervisor. Don't work very closely with him, only allowed to call if necessary. Was hired by a sponsor, supervisor was assigned to mining operation." It had always been peculiar how secretive the sponsor was with the information on the mining operation, but having dealt with large corporations and wealthy business owners he never thought about it until now. "Personal opinion of supervisor is irrelevant..." He paused for a moment, "But he is an ass."
So I'm probably not going to be able to post today, but I'll get one up sometime tomorrow.
Urtum shook his head, "Minimal supplies serviceable. Talent of medical officer irrelevant. If Dr. Chandra has arms, then is serviceable. Please lead the way." He followed the Commander and awaited her inquiries. The hologram of A.L.I.S. fizzling as they walked away. This whole situation was very perplexing. There were a plethora of questions running through Urtum's head, but there was no certain way to find the answers he was looking for. With so many missing pieces to the puzzle Urtum wasn't even sure on where to start, the only possible link was the arm he held onto inside the box, but he didn't know if it would give satisfying results.
A.L.I.S. bowed towards the commander, "Certainly commander, all pertinent files and logs will be forwarded to you immediately." Just then, Urtum walked out of the Comm Room tapping at his chin and looking at the ground in thought. A.L.I.S. turned towards him, "Doctor, is everything alright? How did your talk with the supervisor go?"

Urtum shook his head, "Strange. Conversation strange. Supervisor strange. Intel strange. Not able to connect all dots. Important information missing and unattainable." The Salarian turned to the commander, tapping the box slightly, "Need to conduct tests. Might be possible to gather clues through research. Need lab. Need scientists. Urgent."
Urtum looked towards the door, giving the commander a smile and a nod, "Much appreciated. Will leave A.L.I.S. if you have questions about operation." He gestured slightly to the hologram and then left for the Comm Room.

A.L.I.S. watched Urtum leave and then turned towards the commander, "Forgive me, I had not been able to properly introduce myself. You may call me A.L.I.S., I am an artificial intelligence that assists the Doctor with his research. Or in this case, his former research. If you have any questions about the Mining Operation that the Doctor and I were working on, I would be pleased to give you any of the answers I can."

As Urtum finally entered the Comm Room, he made his call to his supervisor. Appearing in front of the salarian was a human male in a slick black suit. When the man saw Urtum a look of surprise washed over his face, "Ah, Dr. Ezon, I.. wasn't expecting to hear from you any time soon..." The supervisor adjusted his tie and cleared his throat, "So, uh, how's the mining operation going?"

Urtum shook his head, "Not good. Got attacked by unknown creature." He lifted up the box and opened it to reveal the rotting arm again, "Will be conducting tests as soon as possible. Had question about operation. I am certain that some information was not given when job was offered. Wanted clarification on missing information."

The supervisor sighed, "Look Doctor, I gave you all the information you needed, anything else concerning the operation is above your pay grade." After that the call was disconnected.

"Supervisor acting strange. I do not have a good feeling about this."
"Please for give the doctor, Commander. I will make sure he keeps his studies in the specified location." A.L.I.S. spoke as a small hologram of an Asari appeared, floating next to Urtum. The hologram smiled at the commander, giving her a head nod as a sort of greeting.

Urtum closed the box, cocking his head slightly, "Intel? Was intel from Distress Signal? Or perhaps signal confirmed intel?" The salarian shifted the box to his side, holding with on arm while tapping his chin with his other hand, "Hmm," He looked down for a moment in thought, "I have feeling that not all is as seems. Must call supervisor soon. See if they know something."

Cynthia scowled at Dimitri as she leaped up onto the roof following him to the mafia family's home. When they arrived, Cynthia sat on the rooftop of the building next door to the target house, leaning back on her arms. She glanced over at Dimitri a couple times, letting out a quite, but noticeable, sigh. "Look..." She began to speak, keeping her volume low so he was the only one that could hear her, "I'm..." She hesitated for a moment, before sighing one more time, "I'm sorry, okay?... Can we just forget about what I said earlier?" She sat forward glancing down at the roof, before looking back up at the house, twiddling her thumbs, "I'm sure you hate this just as much as I do, I just want to get this whole situation over with."
Ganta and Yoko slowly made their way to class as a group of teenagers shot past chasing someone, one of them bumping into Ganta. The teenager turned toward the newcomer scoffing, "Watch it!" It took everything Ganta had not to chase them down and pummel them, but after taking a deep breath he let it go. He didn't want to start off the new year with sending someone to the nurses office.

"You okay, Ganta?" Yoko looked over at him with a small look of concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's just get to class, yeah?" It had start, but already Ganta couldn't wait for today to end.

The two eventually found there way to their homeroom class, as they entered Ganta quickly recognized the student who was being chased down by that mob earlier and the girl who was following them and apologizing. Yoko found a seat and looked over at Ganta, "Hey, sit next to me! the seats still open!" And with a bit of sigh, the redhead shook his head slightly and sat down in the seat Yoko had been pointing at.
Kagasei chuckled silently to himself as he turned to the Hokage for his final speech, they young boy was getting almost excited for his final match against Minato. The Hokage explained that the final matches for each village would take place in three days at a large Arena that had been built in Konohagakure. Each Kage would be attending to watch the Grand Finals and the Hokage expressed to the two young finalists that they needed to be ready and prepared to show off their best.

During the days leading up to his final fight, Kagasei trained more than he had ever before. Usually closing himself off in a training room with his blade for the entire day. He would take time to meditate, ponder his strategies and hone his skills. Himawari was concerned about the young Genin and his sudden isolation, but understanding how important this was for the young boys, she didn't want to bother him.

The three days passed and it was time for the final match to decide the winner. Himawari ushered the two into the large arena building, taking them to the contestant's waiting area, which had a view of the battleground. It was much larger then the small area used in their previous fights. Kagasei looked out over the arena, focusing his mind on his fight to come. Taking a moment to look over at Minato with a determined expression, letting his teammate know that he was not going to be backing down.
Maktane was shook from his single minded state when Kaito introduced him to the newcomer. He gave a her an awkward wave, taking a moment to collect his thoughts. Shaking his head and finally snapping out it he went to properly introduce himself to Kaito's new acquaintance, when she suddenly got up and left. Maktane watched her as she left, giving a slight confused glance over to his friend, "Did... Did I say something wrong?" He gave Kaito a shrug, as if answering his own question and made his way over to the door, seeing if he could find out where Mira went. He stopped, his hand on the door nob, as he heard her thinking out loud. He let out a sorrowful sigh, gently opening the door and leaning against the door frame, looking over at Mira, "You know, I was 5 when I lost my parents... I always moved around to different foster homes, never really stayed in one place long enough to really make friends." Maketane tried to give Mira a comforting smile as he slid down the door from to sit down, "I don't understand what it's like to have parents, but I do understand one thing," He paused for a bit, taking a second to look up at the digital sky, "We all have our own problems, but we don't have to face those problems alone. I know we just met and I'm definitely not asking to hear about your personal issues, I just want you to know that if you need a place to hang out while you figure out all this stuff, our doors open." Maktane stood up, wiping off his pants, "You could do a lot worse than Kaito and I." He let out a small chuckle and walked back inside, leaving the door open.
