@tsukune@FernStone Yeah, I think it makes sense for them to just meet IC, and let their experiences there color their opinions of each other.

@Mr Allen J Perhaps a balance? Let everyone post once or twice in free mode before the events start happening? I don't know, I'm just spitballing here.
@TheWizardLizard Well, April (And Nick for that matter) would definitely know Cindy - who's pretty much the face of DOVE at this point. I'm not certain what their relationships would be. Cindy and April could get along due to their kindness... but idk about when they'd get angry because they both seem to have the same intolerance of incompetency. Cindy would treat Nick kindly, and try her best to make sure he doesn't turn into a psychopath.

As for Meifeng, idk. She's been in Singapore for four months, and she'll only return when I find that it's appropriate.

Yeah, they probably would know her by reputation at the least. If you like, we can say that Cindy and April have met once or twice and are fairly neutral to each other, and you can choose if Cindy's been one of the DOVE members to actually visit Nick.

For their part, April would probably have the same 'respect but sometimes frustrated with' opinion of Cindy, while Nick would appreciate her kindness / efforts to try and help him, but still wish on some level that she (and the rest of DOVE, by extension) would sorta butt out of his life.
@TheWizardLizard Also, do you want April to have any preexisting relations with the other RAVENS/DOVES?

Good question. The way I imagine it, April hasn't been stationed as a RAVEN in Baybridge for more than a month or two by the time the RP's started, so she may or may not be familiar with the other operatives in the city. I think I'll leave it up to the other players; feel free to PM me if you want to work out some relationship between her (or Nick, for that matter, as he may have met a DOVE or two) and any of your characters, but otherwise I'm content to have them meet IC.
A shitposting party?!

I have prepared my whole life for this moment.
Thanks, I've moved her to the characters tab. I also added in a piece of theme music, which I hope won't affect her approval status, but hey, let me know.
Alright, here she is. Let me know what you think!

I think I'll put the finishing touches on my second sheet tomorrow - I, too, am rather tired.
Yeah, the power's all about conservation of momentum - she doesn't lose any speed as she GOTTA GO FASTS, but she can't break into a 100mph slide unless she has some other way of moving that fast. And I thought about overheating, but I decided against it both for reasons already stated and because, well, friction is what causes things to overheat when they move too fast.

It's not that strong a power, but the weakness is mainly it's limited scope and its difficulty of use rather than an active weakness. It's tricky, but maybe I'm overthinking it.
@Nosuchthing
Well, i'm in no position to actually argue in here since i'm not even playing, but i'd want to know that exactly because they aren't shown. I would be equally okay with them both having weaknesses matching their powers or not having any, but either way i'd know that it settles in the In-Game world neatly and justifiedly.

I'm going to be honest, I cannot conceive of why it matters. Like, the In-Game world has characters that are super-powerful without obvious weakness, just like it probably has some poor schmuck whose power is that he can, I don't know, hold his breath 33% longer than the average person. We, as players, don't play the former because it damages drama and narrative and creates a power arms-race of the same type that has been ruining Marvel and DC, where the characters are always in superpower flex-offs and narrative and careful storytelling are trampled in, again, DBZ style 'muh power level' nonsense.

That all makes perfect sense, right? I don't see why this is hard.
