Cool-headed and collected, Miztli can be seen as somewhat distant from his fellow brothers and sisters. Preferring to spend time with his legion though he can be friendly and inviting to his fellow primarchs. Miztli is very much fascinated with technology. Background
Miztli, after being cast into space by the forces of Chaos, was sent to the world of Kalramia. A once technologically advanced world where, after a cataclysm, the humans here regressed into a more primitive state while still using old technology to some extent. Leaving high-tech ruins that cover the planet's surface.
Miztli's pod landed near a village and was discovered by a hunting party. While suspicious at first about the pod and what was held inside, the hunters brought Miztli before their village chieftain, and it was decided that the baby would be raised by him and be accepted by the tribe. While most did, as the young Miztli got older, some among the tribe were concerned at the rate he was growing and learning.
Still, under his parents's care, Miztli learned all he could about Kalramia and the former state of the world. Miztli was fascinated by the technology that was littered through Kalramia and would often go on expeditions to recover what technology he could find and be used by the tribe. Studying it and, to the tribe's surprise, managing to get some to work and reverse engineer it.
Things were looking bright for Miztli as he grew into a man and became known as a great warrior and craftsman. Only things would take a turn once an expanding empire, the massive Kan Empire which controlled most of the world expanded into the region and sought to conquer the region, starting with Miztli's village. When Miztli returned from an expedition, he fought the village under siege and went to help repel the Kan. But, the battle went south for the tribe. As he held his dying father in his arms, Miztli made a promise to avenge him and their tribe and would flee into the jungle with the surviving members of his tribe.
Now, Miztli spent the next two decades doing what he could to bring down the Kan Empire. By recruiting warriors from the region and forming an alliance with the remaining free tribes in the region against the Kan. Along with researching what technology he can find and making use of it and performing guerrilla warfare against the Kan.
Eventually, after weakening the Kan army and gathering an army big enough to challenge them. Once his army won their first battle with the help of high technology that Miztli had repurposed for battle. He went on the warpath of defeating the Kan Empire for years, and it ending at the battle of Beni, the city being at their capital and Miztli himself slaying the Kan Emperor.
While Miztli felt at peace now that his father and tribe had been avenged. He did not wish to see history repeat itself and his tribe falling to another invader. So, after consulting with his allies. Miztli created the Huitzi Empire with him as its first emperor.
Now in charge of the largest empire in the world and effectively in control of Kalramia, Miztli did what he could to make sure the empire would last and endure. Along with making inroads to ensure his new people would be treated well and educated so that one day they might return to the old ways before the cataclysm.
For years, Miztli spent running his empire and tinkering with ruined technology. Did a stranger appear in court, a man with golden armor, and this man was the Emperor of Mankind as he revealed himself to Miztli and told him of his destiny being by his side. Now, Miztli took a moment to gaze and think about what the Emperor said. While Miztli was not keen on serving another, he recognized how hard it would be to challenge the Imperium in his people's state and how his people might benefit from this. So, in a move he did not want to do and silently wishing otherwise, Miztli stepped forward from his throne and knelt before the Emperor.
Now, back by the Emperor's side, Miztli took some time to adjust to the technology and organization of the Imperium. But, it managed to grasp it, and when he became in charge of his legion. He went on a campaign with them to prove their worth, and after being satisfied with their skills did he accept them as his own. Renaming them the Shadow Jaguars.
Miztli and his legion would spend time fighting during the Great Crusade, and when it neared its end and victory was to be celebrated. He was summoned to the world of Talos for a celebration by the Emperor and rumors were he was planning on choosing a Warmaster. The Silent Jaguars - A elite unit of Shadow Jaguars that is made up of the best infiltrators, saboteurs, and scouts. The Silent Jaguars are normally armed with silent sniper rifles, explosives, melee weapons, and other tools. Often operating behind enemy lines to disrupt the enemy, such as sabotage and assassination. Considered to be among the best infiltrators in the Imperium.
Sun Guard - One of the elites of the Shadow Jaguars, The skilled veterans of the legion, each Sun Guard is handpicked by Miztli and is given the best equipment and weapons the legion has. Who can act as commanders and leaders based on their personal skills and talents.

Background
The Shadow Jaguars first started as the Crimson Lancers as one of the twenty space marine legions. Fighting with the Emperor for decades until their primarch, Miztli Huitzilihuitl, was located on the world of Kalramia. Upon Miztli joining the imperial fold, he want to see if the Crimson Lancers were worthy to lead them. Leading them in a campaign against the Ork Empire of Warlord Rekkfang.
In the ensuing campaign, the Crimson Lancers with Miztli were able to defeat the orks and kill Rekkfang. Earning his favor and renaming them the Shadow Jaguars. Along with letting his legion meet with his people on Kalramia and hoping to make sure to know who they were fighting and allow those space marines that were recruited on Kalramia to stay with their families when not on duty.
The Shadow Jaguars went on several campaigns during the Great Crusade, and the last campaign they went on was against the remnants of an ork empire. Now, with the Great Crusade nearing its end and a victory celebration is to be held on the world of Talos. The Tenth Legion is content with its work during the Great Crusade and waiting eagerly for what its next task will be now that the Great Crusade is over.
