Again, I am not seeing the argument for slow. Also, while I am inspired by other WiRs, I A) doubt their weekly speed is the sole factor of their success and B) Am not trying to simply mimick them. If you are expecting a duplicate, my apologies. Could somebody explain how slowness leads to these desired traits?

I see the argument for slow and I have to agree with it as alot can happen in a single year (wars can be lost or won in a matter of months rebellions can start up and die just as fast etc. etc.)
well we will need some form of number to facilitate rolls and such.
well currently we have a volunteer GM and depending on what time period we could base most of the starting stuff off of the ingame information we have.
Good to see people getting interested in starting WIR back up.
Yeah problably right originally there was a small group of us who usually had atleast one running at any given time but now I guess interest has been lost hmm I think I just may do that.
well they are a historical roleplay based off a roleplay originally made in the paradox forums (as the game was based off their games such as the Victoria games) The game was really detailed with people sending in orders and getting replies from the GM and decisions controlled everything from the tax level to even the exact amount of troops a nation had it was all very accurate and interesting as it would go off in these interesting tangents and alternate histories but sadly they seemed to have disappeared from this forum.
I like all the ideas especially the 3rd aslong as it maintains a good amount of realism. I am with you I like the logistics and strategy of nation roleplays and find it silly when you can say I have a bazillion troops and they will march halfway across the continent!
Strange how there hasn't been any WIR roleplays lately I am starting to miss them.
alrighty I changed his back story around a bit hes now a bothan.
No Mandalorians, sorry. The average Mando isn't going to follow orders from an aruetyc officer or any military types; they are warriors, not soldiers, and they fight on the individual level or within clan units that do not translate over to anything that would make them fit into a platoon of infantry.

In general, I am not allowing Mandalorians or IRD's and I will expand that list as necessary, especially as I already gave Uslam a bit of Mandalorian history and background.

Sounds good; since they fought this, it's undoubted that some of the veterans are a little twitchy.

No Problem I can easily edit and tweak his character a bit thanks for the feedback
