It seems that everytime I disappear for a day or so, things go to hell. In my post I asked for all team members to report for a plan. Please do so as fast as you can!
Blue Arrow would have been all but astounded at the horrible burst of events that began to erupt throughout the city. His communicator was buzzing, his TACPAD was lit up like a Christmas display. And everyone burst into action almost immediately. He did the one thing he could in this situation. Everyone was in full panic, and he threw down his hover board and began zipping around, saving anyone who could be in harms way. He escorted them well behind the crowd that was now berating and calling them off. He sighed to himself. "When will these people ever learn!" He began making it more obvious that he was helping, until he realized that the crowd was pushing in on the action and trying to do... Something? Arrow couldn't help but get angry. He was a well known hero and was tired of being pushed around by the public. He preferred working in shadows than like this. Quickly thinking, as he had already pulled out his bow to deal with the drones, Arrow fired off a couple shots aimed at placing cables between the people and the action, effectively creating a taped off wall. He then fired a few flares into the air for attention, as well as a few more explosive arrows at the drones, straight into their bodies and destroying them a second later in a controlled blast that would destroy their insides. "People of Happy Harbor! We are attempting to contain the outbreak of attacks now! I have moved all occupants of the area away from he fighting to prevent further injuries. Please, I have to ask you all to calm down and move away from the park!" His voice projected from a loudspeaker as he strafed in the air in front of the people. "Yes this situation has gotten out of hand, but my new team and I are trying to contain it. We need your help as well! I don't have any super powers. That doesn't mean I'm not a hero. Everyone has to do their part to make it work, and I can't protect you if you continue to throw yourselves towards the danger at hand. Please, heed my words and stand back!" With the finality of his words, Arrow immediately began to circle the park. "Team!" He would shout into his communicator, "I need everyone to report NOW! I'm ready to create a plan of action, but I need you all to listen up and follow suit! Do you read?" He hoped the situation was still coherent enough to devise a strategy. "Anyone with a full view of the city, I need a report! What's happening and where!"
I'm still here
Eh. I APPROVE YOU ALL. My work here is done.
Arrow would hug Cassie back, then shrug, still smiling and thinking how weird it is to not know ice cream. "I'm not really sure what to do, really. I've done a lot today." He would look to the rest of his team. "Anyone else got an idea?" Arrow would be holding his hover board with pride. He was just happy to be here with friends. He never had many before now, so he was still new to the whole thing.
Blue Arrow would speed up to them, stopping nearly in front of them. The board hovered with barely a sound beneath him as he looked to them, taking his flight mask off. Of course, beneath that still... was his mask. "It freaking works! I can't even believe it! Of course I'll still have to continue to work on it..." He would trail off when he realized he probably shouldn't be talking mechanics. "Sorry I'm late and all, Cass. I should've left with you."
I just don't know what's going on.
Blue Arrow had made significant progress on his aircraft while everyone had been gone, finishing the first real prototype of his hover board, which he hasn't exactly named yet. He had many more plans, but he was ready for a test flight. He had been so excited by the prospect that he had missed the chance to go with Cassie for ice cream. That definitely put his mood down a bit. He felt like he hasn't exactly been the best boyfriend, or leader, and it bugged him. He chalked it up to being trained as a loner by his father, Green Arrow. He might be part of the league, but he couldn't be more alone. And Blue doesn't have a speedster friend to back him up. Arrow set the prototype up for its first flight, and began putting on his high impact gear, which did make him look a bit more armored up. It consisted of lightweight composite plates and bulletproof webbing, keeping to his usual appearance and reducing friction and high impact damage. He put on his flight mask, one that helped regulate airflow and protect his face from the possible wind resistance. It was stylized after what was similar to a full faced gas mask, but shaped to his face better and it almost seemed to be based off Batman's cowl in form. He pulled his hood over and hopped on, activating the board from his wrist. "If anybody needs me, I'll be out hopefully not smashing my face into the pavement." He would broadcast to the team over his communicator. "Also, I'd like to meet you for that ice cream, Cassie. Where can I find you?" He would ask, although her communicated was tracking her position. He had put that feature into everyone's equipment, for obvious reasons. He already knew where to find her. The board reacted to his feet as they locked into position. He had placed inhibitors in his mask to allow him to control it with voice, and hopefully, thoughts. It came to life under him, the thrusters quietly humming to life. The stealth aspect of the board was extremely important, and he had developed his own thruster system for this project. He was extremely proud to see it actually working! He began to lift from the ground, and he opened the hanger doors as he released the safety. Blue Arrow couldn't believe the speed he was getting. He was going over 100mph on the first flight! He was experienced in extreme sports, making this seem like a snowboard with no slope. He was able to adjust his feet and move his body to the rhythm of his flight and smoothly maneuver through the air. "I can't believe it works!!" He exclaimed as he dived down above traffic, testing the trust power as he approached Cassie. He had a small distance to cover, and he decided to try out a trick or two, boosting into flips and twists along the way. He felt exhilarated. And he felt proud to know he could finally be as fast as the others.
I was just stating it for anyone who didn't know. But yeah, I'm good with a skip.
I see. I also saw everyone wanting to do a small skip? I suppose I wouldn't mind. Also, I remind everyone, I'm the Co-GM.
