@CandiBarr Dating is stressful and tiring. I just need a mail-order robot boyfriend.
Good morning!

I have my new glasses! I'm a happy girl!
@Snarfulblast "It must be even nicer to know that there aren't any in the bar that could swindle you, Snarf." (Assuming he'd told her his name, since she inquired earlier!) Since it was all paid for. Hopefully the man upstairs wouldn't redact his wager on the beautiful, emerald-eyed woman. Not that Paisley suffered in coin and she'd cover any loss. @Dark Light Arlen was given another secretive, strange smile as he spoke of a meal being granted.

"My stomach is a bottomless pit. If I had exactly what I needed," Which very well might have been a horde of mindless blood-bags, "I might be a very happy woman. This wine is lovely. I might have another." She hinted to the dwarf behind the counter, giving him time to prepare the next, again, warm.

Even as the glass slowly chilled in her hand, as it soaked through her body, she felt a flush of pink dance along her face. It buzzed with what life remained mixture of blood and wine. The damned woman wanted to keep the feeling of life about her as long as possible. "Yes, she does." Was addressed to @SkeletonShadow Cat's visage. Scars, fresh scratches. She smiled. That would not be a woman she'd meddle with.

Not today.
I think Cat would be interesting! @SkeletonShadow

It's bed time for me! I have a busy day tomorrow!
I'll post at some point! c:
Paisley's ideas as to why Willow @SkeletonShadow was so on edge fell flat. She had a natural resistance to the calming presence that had tried to pressure its way upon her. A pity, really, it looked like she either needed the tallest, smoothest drink possible.

@Dark Light Arlen returned to her side, her contact with the magical woman's visage disrupted by a hungry man. Instead, she smiled, choosing not to give a shred of worry to the disgruntled heart across the way. "It's rather refreshing to see someone take advantage of an offered situation." Her fingertips, warmed from the drink moved and touched his hand, his wrist.

She folded into herself, feeling the warmth sit in her stomach and mesh with the blood she'd feasted upon an hour prior. Had she really been her that long? Already? It was then that she looked over her shoulder, spying that there was no light outside. But it would undoubtedly come and she'd need to find room with thick curtains.

Before the door burst open, her voice took a tone which was hard to discern between playful or dark, "I do believe she said that the drinks were free... Though I would much rather have a free meal." Her gaze bore into his own for a moment before she took another sip of wine. And finally, the door burst open revealing a thin, scarred girl.

"Drinks are on the house tonight, courtesy of a... generous woman." In more ways than one would care to admit. And it was not free. It was for a price.
The rough tapping of @SkeletonShadow Willow's bouncing leg had drawn her attention before Imorteth's words. She nodded to him, pushing everything mystical of her abilities onto the strange maiden. If it worked well, all receiving senses would be dulled. Something to sate what panic had begun to fester... The influence was light enough that it would not draw alarm or interrupt the room, as it had briefly done for Arlen. If only she knew that there were others in need of this service, she might have quieted the entire room.

She turned to the dwarf @Snarfulblast, a kind smile, white teeth. "That will do nicely. Thank you, sir...?" She dragged her inquiry of his name, extending a second card with her name upon near the glass as he serviced. @Dark Light Arlen was given a strange look as the glass met her lips. She felt the warmth through the crystal. It seeped along her fingers. What she would do for a few warm blankets...

"Oh." Paisley realized that she hadn't discovered who to ask about a room yet. "Is there vacancy here? I am hoping to stay for some time..."

Vapid were the two pulses that entered the tavern. She turned, a red-bitten sunshine maiden, green eyes upon the woman who sparked such familiarity in the crowd. The thickness of red dress was pushed down with a palm, elongated nail hidden among it. A taste of romance never settled well on her tongue, the emotions of the living imparted themselves upon her. She'd found herself wrapped in the finest bedsheets more than once. The horned man @Billsomething brought a sense of caution to the mix. She hoped that he wouldn't cause much trouble...

She was fortunate to be undead. No disease could touch her. Paisley reviewed the beauty upon the man's arm with no shade of judgement, more or less pity in and of her chosen talent. Eyes closed, her ears focused on the three heart beats as @CandiBarr Sophia and @Dark Light Dorian met and passed on the case. Something forlorn crossed her face and served no purpose.

Strawberry blonde hair was pulled up and away from neck for a moment before the same hand smoothed along the red cloth of neck, and shoulder, stopping and slipping way. Free drinks, she'd partake if only to let the mystery about her simmer low.

It wasn't polite to give secrets so freely after all. She gave a soft sniff, not of sadness or indignance and left @Dark Light Arlen's side to the bar, her voice wise and soft upon the air. To @Snarfulblast the tender she spoke, "A strong red wine, warmed to loosen my nerves, please..." She introduced herself as a silent waltz, something slow and terribly polite, Paisley pulled up from what she fed upon. The girl in the carriage had been a playful heart, sunny and unforgettable. It was almost as if she felt the daylight upon her skin... It drifted in with each sip, her body a sponge to soak. She relished the feeling, knowing it would last only one night.

Drink, drink, won’t you drink with me, in the house we filled so lovingly?
@CandiBarr I'm so happy to see you, too! I was looking over the character sheets and I said, "Oh! Yay! It's Candi!"
I'm totally looking forward to Lilith and Paisley's interactions. I think that will be incredible! Two undead gals... What could possibly go wrong?

Also, hello everyone! I return! Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for me. I'll be with my mom in the morning getting the oil changed on her car, and then I'll be picking up my new glasses! And possibly maybe sealing the deal on a new, used truck. :O We'll figure things out either way!
Time for work! I'm EST, so I won't be home until 10:15 in my time.

@SkeletonShadow I'll reply to you as soon as I'm home!
@Dark Light
I noticed, most definitely! She's eloquent enough to pass by any worries she has.
Yes! Which my character is most definitely a vampire. She makes it very difficult to figure out...
