Current Sad to say I'm currently experiencing Writer's Block. Luckily I learned Writer's Kung Fu and I can chop the block in half with my hands like Bruce Lee

Why is the sun like bread? It rises in the yeast, and sets in the waist. Haha! Isn't that so cute? Join my RP or more puns will come.

What's the difference between a Hollywood actor and a piece of driftwood? One is Justin Timberlake. The other is timber, just in a lake. Hahathisiswhati'mdoinginsteadofwriting

Hey, folks: I've just kicked off an RP, a fantasy where you can worldbuild as much as you can adventure. So if, like me, you like worldbuilding nearly as much as writing, check out Pilgrim's Caravan

That moment when losing a character in a rougelike makes you want to shed tears. No backup. It's gone.

Current RP I want you to join: roleplayerguild.com/topics/191461-car…

Hey y'all. I've been at this for about 10 years, and I've played a lot of kinds of RP. I like fantasy and sci-fi the most, just because they give me the most to play around with, but I'm cool with almost anything. I just like writing.

God, I really need to pay more attention.

No offense, but yeah... xD

But hey, we all do it sometimes.

@Jeyma I'll, uh, take the latter group. The one with Shertul and peeps.

We're doing a collaboration with that group right now. Do you want to join in on the collab?

I actually recommend going with the group with Lumao, because he might listen. Besides, we already have a shit ton of characters in the collab involving Shertul and Sophia and Corra and Analise and Crow.

But it's your choice, of course. If you really want it to be that group she interacts with, I'll send you the titanpad link and we can have Cindy pop up in the middle of their conflict.

Side-note: Cindy is my mother's name. Makes reading her really weird because I keep picturing my mother.
Because I'm way too lazy to work out a fix Imma play it as a mistake on her sight's part. Bottom line is your one common enemy is here so stop bickering and start doing something.

But that doesn't answer the question: where is she?

Is she with Lumao, the elves, Sutagara and Kaezira? Or is she with Shertul, Sophia, Analise, Corra and Crow?

These groups are separate. She cannot be with both. She is either whispering at one group or whispering at the other, and your post does not make clear which group she is at. The two gatherings are away from eachother, so you must clarify where she's actually at or nobody will be able to reply to it.

In other words: I don't know where she is and I don't know which characters can interact with her right now.
And that was mybad, I read through the post before Law posted it and totally didn't even notice.

Shame on you. Endless shame.
Dishonour on you, dishonour on your cow.

(Just noticed: why do I spell "honour" the British way? I've never even left the east coast of USA. Fuckin' internet, exposing me to foreign culture, ruining my American-ness.)

<Snipped quote by Jeyma>

I imagine she'd be weakening it for herself.

That's my point. If she was with a group outside the barrier, she would also be outside the barrier, and thus wouldn't need to do anything to it.

But, hey, it adds to the post so I won't argue with it.
@Lawful Newtral
Catching in the corner of her eye the presence of a crowd, Cyndia had found just that. Two Nephilim and a couple of free-minded beings, one inclined to Raziel and the two others to Alithe.

I can't tell who this is talking about. There are not two Nephilim in any place.
This group doesn't exist.

One Neph, Kaezira, is with the crowd heading to the Institute- Lumao, Sutagara, Daewyn and Sybil. Lumao and maybe SanaChan's characters might actually listen to the whispering.

The other darn Nepher, Crow, is busy dealing with the Alithe-prone ones: Shertul, Analise, Sophia and Corra in the eastern forest.

I loved the rest of the post, but unless I'm horribly mistaken (forgive me if I am), I believe this is wrong.

EDIT: Plus, both these groups are outside the anti-magic barrier so there was no reason for her to try and weaken it.
@Jeyma Ding dong ding, I think we hae ourselves the first acolyte of Nerzar! Expect to have Lumao be approached by an envoy of his will soon. OwO

I mean, he legit might like Nevar, or he might just be too terrified. I mean, the whole idea screams "Bad guy!"

The peace and an end to the Raziel/Alithe conflict, that's all good. The fact that he's somehow "darkness" and he uses whispers to control people's minds... nope.

[@CollabPartners] I just wrote something in the Revenant/Monaster/Fleshspinner collab, but it suddenly all got fucked up. Then I retrieved it and it managed to vanish for no reason. I had to rewrite half of it. So if you can't see my writing or it's messed up on your end as well, lemme know. My computer is being unreliable today.
@Lawful Newtral
Just read your new CS. I love it so much.

Actually, it sounds like Lumao might love it more: he also wants a world without war where people are "freed from darkness and act for the betterment of all. A utopia of peace."

I said almost the exact same thing in my CS:

"The key is when people have learned to do the right thing without needing to be pushed by Raziel, when people can be kind without motivation.

The Revenants are among the purest evil in this world, but the Nephilim can only create goodness through force. What is peace, if it was made with violence?"
Ma CS

Plus he uses light/shadow combo magic.

Hell, if it wasn't so fucking creepy, he might be able to worship Nezar. But he'd also be creeped.
To be honest, I'm against the time skip.

The travel will be good for character/relationship development. Plus, more time to explain stuff.

Glad you said that. I completely agree.

I also completely agree with your profile pic. It's the best of the 5 I've seen so far.
@Soragoku@SanaChan

@LitCabbit@Emuxe

Okay, so, how are we gonna do the whole "travel to the Monastery/Institute" thing? Time skips? And if so, how will that effect the plot in the city- will they be forced to timeskip?

It should probably take a few posts to reach the Monastery, tho. Seems like it'd be further away.

Sidenote: I will not be satisfied if Lark does not find out about Gellert and say something like "Oh, go howl at the moon!"
Answer 1. There's an entire section for that: Advanced Roleplaying. Many people there pump out 3 to 6 paragraphs a post. I tend to go for either casual or advanced, and I personally usually do 2 to 5. My record is about 20 paragraphs, but I try to only do as much as is actually necessary. Word count shouldn't be a pissing contest.

Answer 2. Drama is rare overall, but historical and low fantasy RPs often have massive debates about what it historically accurate, and sci-fi RPs sometimes have scientific "discussions" to decide what is plausible to keep it realistic.

Answer 3. I've never seen smut/sex RP, but I've heard of it happening occasionally. Overall, it seems to be rarely ever posted publicly: it's only done in PMs for the sake of site rules. It is a bannable offense, after-all.

Pro-tip: don't tell people you have Asperger's on the internet. Half won't believe you and will claim you just want attention, because they don't understand how the brain works. The other half will act like you're stupid or imply you need constant help, because they don't understand how the brain works. A few will treat you like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory, because they don't understand how comedy works and watch Big Bang Theory. RPG is a really accepting community and I don't expect you'll run into any of that here- most people will probably simply ignore it- but it's just better not to go advertising a mental aberration to strangers.
Corra says to remember when she actually follows through with your goading that you brought it on yourselves

No but for real, Out-of-Character, I don't think you should do that until we are all actually in a fight.
