Responsibility belongs not to the name stenciled on the mantel, but to the one who carries the mantle.

@Themerlinhawk Stop talking about doing things and do a thing!!! :P

Seriously, thanks for being an epic GM and keeping up with all the crap we throw at you and making some sense of it all. I'm just glad to still be with this group of awesome writers.

~ Of course we could have, we could also have duked it out right then and there, kinda like the first fight Isa'd been in, except less fatalities... probably. Besides, since when did you have anything worth chatting about? ~

Isa was mostly just to eager to get started to care about anything else at this point, he didn't harbor any particular ill will towards Alana, but he was always a cold individual anyway, so she wasn't likely to get much better from him any other time either. He watched while he waited, sitting in the entrance, tail twitching, silently critiquing the combat as it unfolded.

Luci should just shift to full wolf, and chew her up, she shouldn't have stood there like a gaping jackdaw while he shifted. She may have lost her chance of winning this right there, but she stayed in her faunus form, so maybe she had plan. Clever duck Fiona, should have sent an elbow or fist up into his belly though. Luci you fool, keep your feet on the ground, you're bigger than her stop jumping around, it just makes this easier for her to gut you.

Isa didn't really care who won, he just hoped one of them would figure out how to fight soon, so he didn't have to watch them play fight all week. Part of him noticed Alana rooting for Fiona, but it didn't really register for him. Comradeship ... indeed, community, had failed him, had failed his family, so Isa had no interest in ever relying on anyone again. He was tired of being hurt by others, and wanted more than a little to make sure someone else felt his pain. In theory, he wanted that someone, or those someones, to be the ones who hurt him, but his actions were painting a different picture.

Welcome to the guild Rae! I hope you're able to find something you like pretty quick. I myself prefer the group RPs but to each their own. Best of luck and happy writing to you!

An interesting plot... not sure I could do much with it, being as close to musically illiterate as fella can be this side of the grave, but i do like the unique spin on and old plot. Put an interest check up in one of the appropriate forums, you'll get more views and feed back there.
Hello Delzmore! Welcome to the guild mate. Do you happen to have any favorite genres or Anime to RP?

So, I know I'm triple posting and that's rude, but I'm really curious...

What do you guys think the dragon replacement will be? Or do you think I'm going to use dragons as well?

In place of dragons? You might use wyrms, scaly/plated things that burrow through the ground with ease and little trace, like in Dune or Tremors, or even the Hobbit: BoFA. A doom that gives little to no warning, and leaves obvious traces of destruction, or just drags everything underground.

I'm also cool with using Blarog's instead of Dragons. Or really any other supernatural champion or scourge of the mortal realms.

We could also borrow Alien... just sayin' that's a pretty iconic enemy there.

Or perhaps something far more iconic, a variant on Syrens. Powerful and beautiful beings served by fanatic thralls, not easily intimidated or faced, except by the most resolute wills. They often send minions/young to neighboring countries as ambassadors, and within a few centuries once glorious empires are now merely puppet states. Their natural beauty, prevents most from lifting a blade or spell against them, yet most not already in their clutches fear the reach and might of the Syrens.

Just a few thoughts, since you asked. :)

~ You go for thirds little birdy, and you'll be my seconds. ~

Finally the little thing was ready to duel! Isa bounded ahead, out of the room and down the hall. He bounds down the stairs, barely touching them, and sliding across the landing, one paw hooked in the rail. Down the next flight, out the door, and down this hall too, Isa finally came to a skidding stop near Sean, at the indoor arena's entrance, where he glanced up at the scientist for permission to take his place in the arena. He was eager to start this match, and see if the little bird could actually do anything besides quiver in nervous fear and eat uncontrollably. He glanced up the hall, wishing the bird wasn't so slow on her feet, and then watched the pair already dueling in the arena until he was permitted to start his own duel.

Calder Dylan, Izual Anzhela @Viciousmarrow, Ludelle Glowren @Wind Wild, Rini @lovely complex

Day 3, noon.

What a violent little thing, and yet so apparently delicate, surely this little one held some fae blood in her veins. Calder looked over to Ludelle and Izual, as if considering Rini's questions seriously for the first time. In fact he was simply curious as to how things were fairing between the two, the hellspawn seemed a tad more attached than might be normal for mortals, but Calder couldn't say it was in anyway abnormal for a hellspawned, as his only experience with them was on the field of carnage. It was for that reason, that he knew the answer to Rini's questions, and wasn't the least bit concerned about the possibility of it becoming a necessity. If it had to happen, Calder would do as Stormlord required, with no particular pleasure or regret, just detached efficiency born of centuries of practice. Turning his attention back to his new companion, he offered to make introductions, mostly out of personal curiosity.

"Those two? I know the lady, and would be happy to introduce you if you like. She's really quite nice, and he's got a reputation for being what some might call absent minded, and others blissfully ignorant. Shall we join them for the coming ceremony Rini?"

What in the wide realms of Galendar was this being before him? If I had to name her on our short experiences so far, I would have to name Rini "Sweet Sundering" for her sweet manner and delicate appearance but sheer disregard for traditions and taboos of the culture around her, to say nothing of her apparent fascination with gore. Her brutal honesty would sunder many a fae's good graces with out the slightest effort, though those accustomed to mortals would be less put out by her odd customs. I cannot say as I've ever met anything quite like the soul before me, and yet this all seems so very familiar and I cannot for the life of me figure out why that is... This puzzle will likely bother me endlessly if I let it, best let it go with tide, it will return again later these things always did. I cast the puzzle from my mind, this was Stormlord's wedding day, he deserved my utmost and best, I could deal with this minor puzzle later, on my own time while everyone else got wasted after the wedding. As I consider these things, I move towards Ludelle, using one scaly hand to guide my new friend through the crowd towards the Elf and Hellspawn pair. I smile as we approach, though it's not often a very reassuring sight. I stop about six feet from the pair, and interrupt as politely as I know how.

"Pardon my interruption, Ludelle, I'd like you meet Rini a delightfully bubbly soul. Rini, this is Ludelle a shockingly seasoned soul. Who is your new acquaintance Ludelle?"
