Responsibility belongs not to the name stenciled on the mantel, but to the one who carries the mantle.

Well....it'll work out
Thought he was in a tavern not the inn XD

My bad, said tavern, but taverns, at least medieval taverns, doubled as inns, so in this instance, tavern and inn are synonymous.

Still touring town looking for the missing spear man is going to be tiresome, I call dibs on the floor this time! You and scarlet can have the bed since you're getting so chummy anyway. :P
@PyroDash888 You could skip ahead to evening and have Sapphira join Lucas and Edgar for a light supper. Or you might have her start a side conversation with Cinera about the whole thing. Perhaps Sapphira is worried they won't be able to find enough players to do the raid. Or is just surprised that Reaper and Scarlet are so disinterested in Delcastle's offer. Or you could just go over and watch Dom drool in his chair... just a couple possibilities. You'll find something to write, you always do.

Edgar, didn't see his friends in the tavern, which worried him. He'd brushed off their concerned responses earlier, though he had made several sets of bracers for Scarlet. They were visually identical, but the stats were very different. He hoped one would suit her purposes in the game. Now he wondered if they had started without him... He considered sending them a response, when a face he hadn't seen before entered the tavern, and ordered two Spring Waters, a biscuit, and a room for the night. And an idea struck Edgar, they were going to go get him leveled, and help Scarlet figure out how to fight with just the one eye, and then there was the dungeon. He still wanted those rare ores, and rumors in town suggested it also held a special reward, that might be of particular interest to Scarlet. What if this new guy needed something to do? An extra blade would certainly be nice to have. And besides, it looked like Edgar was going to need an escort to get him safely caught up to Reaper and Scarlet, especially if the two old geezers were still hanging around. Rolling the dice, proverbially, Edgar called to the new arrival, walking down the bar to him.

"Greetings friend, got time for a proposition? Join me for a quick bite and I'll elaborate."

I sit down at a nearby table, and quickly set out our position, careful not mention my two friends by name, or give any specific details about them. Mostly just that my group needed another hand to help with a difficult dungeon in the gorge. Loot would be shared as fairly as possible, at least until the final reward, and then compensation would be provided if necessary, assuming of course that a second run was not feasible. I eat quickly, talking between bites, and doing my best to present myself as a decent fellow throughout the presentation. I know there are red players, even red guilds out there, and I really didn't want to scare the guy off. At the same time, I wasn't certain how to do that, except to be polite and sincere. As I finished my spiel, and supper, I open my main menu, and then the PM's sub-menu. There I rapidly type a quick response to the previously ignored questions, and hinted a potential bonus member for the raid team, when we got to it. I send the finished message to both Reaper and Scarlet, since they'd both asked for my location previously.

Hey, Sorry I'm late in responding, I'm back at the Inn now. I was in the crafting hall in the south western section of town, the crafting work is ... relaxing for me. Also for future reference, so long as we're all in a group, we can use the map feature to find each other. That said, where are y'all now? I don't see either of you in the Inn. But I did find someone else, trying convince them to help us out for a bit. *fingers crossed I don't just piss them off, like gramps and his side kick, no offense Scarlet* Anyway, I hope we can meet up again soon. Sorry for ditching y'all earlier, I just needed some time to myself.
@Themerlinhawk
Quick question what is the guest list like? Is it just higher ups in the tower or are their kids running around?

The kids be there too, laddie.
A Dance for the Guests

Calder Dylan, Et. al.

Day 3, noon.

Calder kept an eye on his charge, but he did his best not to hover. Ludelle could take care of herself, Izual... was another matter altogether, but also not his charge, yet. Though depending on who this Bunny person was, Calder wouldn't be surprised to find the hellspawned in his care by next week, or Crow's care, if Izual was particularly unlucky. Calder moved around the dance floor, still with the bright and somewhat brutal child Rini. He moved with grace of the fae mother he'd been born to, aided somewhat by his fluid nature of his father's elemental nature. His motions flowed seamlessly from one to the other, with little to no apparent effort. The gently rolling deck beneath him, was no hindrance, and in fact seemed to add to his already exquisite form. As he danced he watched the knights around him, observing the reception in a rather detached manner, though he was careful to show his enjoyment of the festivities. He hadn't had an opportunity to meet most of the newer knights yet, and this might be all the chance he got to see any of them in a purely social setting, if things were to continue as they had.

Calder wasn't certain they would, but his work was growing, and he had a few side jobs sitting on the shelf to get to when he got the chance, but it seemed like the tower would keep him entertained for at least a few more seasons. And there wasn't a set deadline on the jobs so they could wait as long he wanted to be here. The music faded for a moment, giving the dancers, and the musicians, a break. Calder sent Rini to collect some refreshments for the two of them. He gazed around the deck, noting who was still up on deck, and who had found quieter locals for their own enjoyment. He smiled to see everyone enjoying themselves, and the wondrous setting Stormlord had found for the reception. The man certainly knew how to throw a party. Calder stood amidships, by the port rail, waiting for Rini to return with whatever she'd found, or someone else to approach him.
I have no issue with it, it is sound logic.
This should turn out interesting

It'd better! It's not every daymillennium an avatar gets married. ;)

Also, my post will have to wait until I've slept a bit. But he'll probably be dancing, showing off his fae grace, and maybe helping a few others slip from time to time as humorously as possible. (any volunteers? Izual's already signed on)
A First is wrapped up to the best of my ability, if anyone has any objections to my assumptions about their characters, edits are always possible so feel free to tell me what you'd like me to change.

Poor Bunny... And Izual. Hmmm, but today is to be a joyous day, perhaps Calder will let the two of you off for the day, but will Rini?
