Responsibility belongs not to the name stenciled on the mantel, but to the one who carries the mantle.

Calder Dylan, Rini @lovely complex, Shiba @Jangel13

Day 3, evening.

Calder smiled and joined Rini at the table she'd selected. He considered her question as Shiba arrived and introduced himself. Calder returned the man's greeting, and then turned back to Rini to answer her question.

"Greetings Shiba, I am Calder, and it seems you've already met Rini. Be welcome here. Rini, spilling blood on their wedding night might be ill received. It's often considered a bad omen, at the least, let's find you something less offensive to write your note in. Perhaps you might find a handful of berries, to lend you their juice, and fragrance, for your note?"

If had my breeches on, I could give you the writer's set I found a few years back, but alas, I did not. It was why I rarely went anywhere without them. Though, now that I think about it that writer's kit was rather ... empty now. I looked around once more, wondering when Akime would call upon me, and checking to see if Ludelle was still above deck with her ill timed date. I thought I explained that such antics were not for weddings several days ago. It would be discussed when next we spoke.

Another matter claims my attention as I return my focus to Rini's gift. I hoped my own gift would not be considered in ill taste. I hoped it wasn't to fae for the Highfells to enjoy. It seemed to be little more than a card, simple but with an odd enchantment. When opened it gave the scent and sounds of an ocean, an ocean that matched the heart of the bearer. It also held three small sprites, who owed me a debt of service, a debt I was giving to the newly weds. For two hundred years, these sprites would serve the couple, in whatever manner they required, as best the little folk could. It was a common practice in the fae realms to trade and give debts, but I have not seen anything similar in the mortal realms since my arrival. Perhaps my gift was not as well suited to the occasion as I had originally perceived it to be.

Shaking these thoughts from my mind, I turn to Shiba, and inquire about his own time here.

"Shiba, are you enjoying the reception so far?"
@Eklispe actually I'm note sure. Pretty sure we have more bots to girls though

Wait, Bots to girls? Did I miss something here? :P It's a tad high on the guy's side, but relatively even I think.

B: VI
G: IIII(+Luna?)

that's my rough count... but I may have missed someone.
@Lunar

Why did you choose the dual wield style? I'm just curious.
@DestinyStar Yeah, better wait, just don't wait to long... 'cause I hate waiting. :P (Doesn't stop working unless the blood is gushing, or body no longer functions properly, also has high tolerance for pain, get's lot of weird looks from co-workers, also happens to be a cook. At least for now, it's not really a passion of mine. And has spent the last week fighting off a cold instead of taking a day off to stay at home and be done with it. Sorry, ADD, plus almost 4am, equals spastic thoughts. On that note, night all.)

Aloe does wonders for burns if you get a hold of any. Take your time posting, we can wait. :)

@DestinyStar Oh dear, you couldn't leave the injuries IC? :P I do hope it heals quickly, burns are no fun, and I've had plenty. (kinda happens when one enjoys playing with fire as much as I do) What happened, if I may ask?

~ At last! Smart move by Luci, nice try Fiona, enjoy your night in the kennels. ~

Isa sprang into the arena past the exiting Luci and Fiona, running around the edge of the arena Isa got a feel for the area he would be fighting in. Slowing to a jog he returned his focus to Alana, and watched her very closely as he waited for her to strike, or Sean to order the fight to start. He kept in motion, wanting to see how she would react to a moving target.
