Domagoj will side with the chief in the matter of the couple, and ... probably reserve his magic point for later allocation, unless there is's a clear need/deficiency in the clan magic or it becomes to unbalanced, though it looks like that won't be an issue. He would like to put his point into Invention this season, though children, health, and herds are also sound choices in his mind.
@Shorticus just curious, at what point does the point each character has to invest expire? At the next Sacred season?

A Dance for the Guests

Day 3, evening.
Calder responded Rini, informing her that it was most offensive then, as it seemed to be connected with still births. Though there wasn't any real factual basis for such things in the scientific world, the superstition was not something founded on a whim. It was born of an ancient curse, still used at times in the fae world, and by those with dealings in the fae realm. He listened and responded to Shiba's confession with a simple, "ahh" before his attention was drawn to the stage and the violinist. From there it drifted to the dance floor where Calder met the gaze of the Hellspawned dancing with Ludelle. It was time to deal with the issue at hand before it interrupted things.
"Rini, would be so kind as to find Bunny, she may need your help shortly, and I'd like to meet her at some point tonight. Shiba, let's see if we can't make you a little more comfortable, if you'll kindly follow me please, this may get violent unfortunately. And if that happens, I want it over with as quickly as possible."
I rise and pursue the couple, at a brisk pace hoping to over take them as they reach the edge of the crowd. Unfortunately, Izual seems to have other ideas, and begins sprinting through the crowd. I almost slick his path with ice, but decide a rapid exit would be better than a fight here, and let him run, though I continue through the crowd towards them, with the intent of catching up to the couple sooner or later. Ahh, what luck, the devil meets his match... and is still clueless. Ye gods what curse lies upon this man that he should be so oblivious to world before him, and the pain he's caused poor Bunny. Well, time to see if I can mend more than just flesh. As I approach the couple, Izual, stands ready to fight, and begins shouting some nonsense about engagements and stealing lovers... With a flick of my right hand ice quickly grows over the hellspawn's mouth and feet, limiting the disturbance he can cause, hopefully.
"Shiba, meet Izual, the devil patron of all oblivious beings. And Ludelle, who has lost her mind in her emotions tonight. Ludelle, whether you realize it or not, this man, oblivious to it as he is, is already in a relationship. Or at least his partner, whom you just met, thought so based on his actions. I was clear in my instructions not to ruin the event, you have failed this simple task out of pure selfishness. I thought after what Sirius did to you, you'd know better, but it seems you were only jealous of him. You owe the bride and groom an apology Ludelle, and I regret not having been more thorough with you.
Izual, you fool. You ignore the woman who loves you more than her own life, to champion an elf with no cause. I didn't steal her from anyone but Sirius. Her lover Marcus left her in Sirius' tender care with instructions to execute her. You want to rip a hide off a tortuous player of a man? Find Marcus. Or look in a mirror, You certainly seemed eager enough to ditch your own lover for a stranger.
Now, if the two of you are still hellbent on bedding together tonight, that's your business, but do it elsewhere so the rest of us can return to enjoying the reception."
My rant finished, I turned to go find Bunny and Rini, releasing Izual from his icy muzzle and shackles as he went. If the hellspawn still wanted a fight, He'd get one he'd not soon forget. But I have other matters to attend to now.

sorry, writers block and a busy weekend, have kept me from getting a post together. Working on it now though, hopefully will post tonight.

"Excellent! I don't think there will be any issues. We're going to go get some practice a little later this evening, might be out late, but we'll be safe enough. Do you have any plans for the evening?"
I read the response from Reaper and frown, she'd passed out? I'd really have to stop ignoring these PM's. I offer Lucas a friend request, so he can keep in touch, in case he has other plans for the evening. I consider going upstairs to check on Reaper and Scarlet, and maybe let Reaper come down and get dinner if he's been upstairs with her the entire time. But then, Scarlet would probably be hungry too, so I might as well get dinner for both of them... would it be wrong to get them the dinner for two special? Yes, it would, bother my mischievousness. Okay, but what would they want? {Scarlet awakens}... Yep got nothing, Russian Roulette it is, via the dinner menu. Samplers should be safe, three different samplers and two simple plates of rice, steamed vegetables, and broiled fish, plus two large tankards of cool apple cider later, I ask the server to take it to the room registered to the player Reaper. Turning back to Lucas as the NPC server leaves, I ask him a bit about himself, to better get an idea of what he's good at.
"Sorry about that, it's been a bit of long day for us. But you don't want to hear our woes I'm sure. Tell me some about yourself. What are you strengths in game? Do you have preferred fighting style, do you usually work in groups? are they large, small, or are you a loner? I'm a craftsman myself, specializing in heavy armors, and medium armors that are mostly or entirely metal in construction."

Edited the shrine's deity to be Aire's since that's our clan patron, in my estate section.
