Now why would you want to join that you say? I'll give you three reasons.
Clockpunk, guns and acrobatics. Who could say no to that?
Basically, this RP would take place in setting found in the game of Resonance of Fate, however for the sake of the RP, I would be keeping it far away from the game's story line as possible so that people who have never even heard of it before can jump in and enjoy it. The game has very little lore and I'd explain it all if people turn out to be interested in this, but until then I'll give you a bit of a run down.
Basically the surface of earth is currently uninhabitable, thanks to a poisonous gas covering it. Instead humanity built a large clock work tower to live on, Basel. And when I say large I mean huge.
Very huge. Their are cities, forests, mines, even a frozen wasteland in the tower of Basel. Characters will have a lot of places to explore. Everything on Basel runs on clockwork, from the elevators connecting floors to the power stations. And while humans built and live on the tower, there are many parts of the tower which have fallen into disarray, becoming home to bandits and monsters alike. On the tower of Basel, guns are the weapon of choice. And these aren't any fancy looking fantasy guns either oh no. The folks on Basel base their weapons on old blueprints from the past. Their past being our present.
"But trance, guns are boring. All you do is hide and shoot."
That's true...BUT NOT ON BASEL!
On Basel, your main form of fighting is running around and jumping through the air while shooting at the enemy, they can't hit what they can't keep up with. Hunters (the characters) tend to be more athletic then your average bandit or monster, giving them the ability to be as acrobatic as they want. Ever wanted to do a back flip over a goblin while shooting with with duel SMGs in the face? You might wanna show interest in this RP then~
Characters in the RP would take the role of Hunters, a group of people who go around doing odd jobs for money. These range from anything from fetching items to clearing out monsters, but don't let that deter you from this RP, I do have a "plot" all planned out for it.
Like I said, I'll write out much more about the lore and everything you'll need to know for the RP if people show interest in this. I just didn't want to write out paragraphs of back story if no one even applies. If you have any questions feel free to ask~
