Lauralye looked at him, "I didn't think you needed your arms to fly.... I just wasn't sure if you were able to hold me for so long. Or if it would be too comfortable... I mean with gravity trying to pull me down and all," She shrugged, "Well, I am very excited."
Lauralya grinned and looked at the clock. She knew that it was just moments after noon but now she could not wait for that evening. She looked at him, "How are you going to fly with me?" She asked, curious about how this would end up being comfortable, and safe, for either of them.
Lauralya shook her head, "Death is not always the worst punishment...."

She continued walking when Robert offered to fly her over the city. She stopped in her tracks and looked at him, "R-really?"

She had seen the village outside the castle before. But it was at great distance. If Robert took her, she might actually be able to see the people. The animals, the things that lived in her country. She nodded her head, "I would love that."
Lauralye watched as David kissed her hand and curtsied to him, "Of course, my love."

Then he was running off. She watching him as he went then sighed. She looked at Robert when he approached her and asked her about David. Her eyes widened before she continued to walk, "I would stray from such questions, Robert. Although, I do not see you as a slave, many do. Even a beloved Adviser could be punished greatly for asking such a question," She looked at him, and bit her lip, "But no... I suppose I do not. But he has much to give to my kingdom as I do him... As a Princess it is my duty to marry. I might come to love him one day..."
Lauralye nodded her head and returned her attention in front of herself. She couldn't say much about it. She didn't know what to say. She didn't even think she had the full story. All she knew was that Robert's mother had died. She could relate to that, her own mother had been killed. She didn't want to comment on it though when she did not know his story. She held her hands behind her back, "Well..."
Lauralye opened her mouth to say that they actually couldn't, due to the fact that she wasn't allowed to be out of his sight unless necessary. However, she stopped herself and dropped David's hand. It was hard for her at times, to be in love with him. She wasn't in love with him. He was merely a man of good social standings, who could bring lasting peace between their two countries, and wouldn't rise to his own throne in his own country. He was someone her father chose and she was not in the position to deny him. She nodded her head, "I'm sorry, Robert..."
Lauralye smiled at him and took his hand in her own, "I'm sure you will be great," It was nice to think that a man well versed in the world would be taking over the thrown. As much as Lauralye might have liked to rise to the crown herself, she didn't think that she could. She knew nothing of the people beyond her walls. She only knew what she could see from her windows and that only told her what the world looked like... Hardly enough to make her believe that she could run a country. She was glad to have David for that reason, even if he was a little rude and harsh to people...
Lauralye listened closely to David as he spoke. Maybe it was due to the fact that she would one day become a Queen that she was so interested in what he had to say. Or it could be because she had never had the chance to see what it was that he spoke of. The outside world was nothing of interest to the people living in the outside world but Lauralye was mystified by the world she had only got to see for a short period of time. She could still see the world, but only from her window. She smiled at David, "That is wonderful. I hope you will be as good a King as your father," She said politely.
Haha yup yup c:
Lauralye was, as she said, grateful that the two men left the conversation behind them as she and David began to wander the halls. She held her hands in front of her as they did. She smiled at David, "How is Fiyore?"

She asked of his home country that sat on her own country's border. She had never been, of course, but when David came to visit he told her of his travels to come here. He told her about his lush countryside and happy people. Sometimes, he even told her of her own people, who she never truly had the chance to meet. Every once in a while, he would even bring her gifts from home or tell her of his family and older brother who was going to take over the throne there. She loved listening to his stories, for they were far more interesting than her own. Today, I woke up. I had breakfast. I had lessons. I wandered the hall. I went to sleep.
