Lachlan took a deep breath as Emilia informed him that she wanted the marriage with Rowan. He knew that she did but he feared she might be thinking more of the power the marriage would provide and less of the happiness a marriage to give. Of course, it was rare that Royals got to marry for happiness. He just didn't want to see his sister hurt by the man who would make a promise to love her. As much as he wished to inform her of things he had heard outside of court, where people felt more free to speak their minds, he knew it would do no good. His sister's mind was set... The best he could do now was protect her and ensure that Rowan brought her no harm. At her request, he smiled and nodded his head, "Of course, My Queen."

He walked with her to her chambers and moved his arms behind his back as Emilia dropped hold of his arm. He watched her as she requested that Lachlan fetch the Prince for her. He took a deep breath and nodded, "If that is what you wish," And turned to leaving.

Catching the door and stopping himself, he looked back at his sister and sighed, "Emilia," He said quietly. He rarely used her name, as it was a sign of disrespect and as a Bastard disrespect could quickly turn to his head getting lopped off. However, the few times he did, he brought forth something serious or important to him. He took another deep breath and looked at her, "Not all good men are good... I want you to remember that... There are somethings that even I can't protect you from..."

Then he turned and left her be and went in search of the Crown Prince.

It took him slightly longer than he would have liked to find Rowan, as he hadn't a clue where he had gone off to. He bowed as he approached the Lord and Royal, "My apologies for interrupting... Her Majesty, Queen Emilia wishes to speak with you, Prince Rowan... She's asked for me to escort you to her rooms."

Juliet was slightly taken back by the offer to join the Prince in the gardens but nodded her head. After all, who was she to deny a Prince's request. She gave him a small smile, "That sounds like a fine idea, Your Highness."

She placed her hands on her stomach as they walked through the castle and out to the garden. She was tense, after the events of earlier and now being in the presence of a Prince everything was a little manic. However, as they began their walk through the gardens, she began to relax. She took her time in smelling each flower that was unfamiliar to her. The entire garden was spectacular and clearly made for a Queen. She wondered if this were a display of love by the King to make the gardens... Or a display of wealth. She had seen the Sevaviel King sometimes shower his wife in gifts after he paid visits to his Mistress. However, rumours of Mistresses often spread quickly and she had never heard of such from the King of Thirmos.

As they reached the pond, she quickly walked over to it and crouched at the water's edge, her skirts fanning around her. She reached out and touched the water, notably attempting to reach one of the floating lilies but found it just out of her grasp. She turned and looked at the Prince before she carefully reached under her skirt and removed both of her shoes. Standing again, she lifted the front of her skirt enough to prevent them from getting wet as she took two steps into the water. Closer to the flower, she leaned over and smelled it before straightening again. She turned to face Caeling and smiled, "Your mother's gardens are stunning," She moved out of water, "I've never seen a garden quite as large as this before..." She looked around again, "I believe I could be lost for hours here..."

@OfficerHeadbutt @Mr_Pink No, Elissa and Cilla are together in the grand hall.

Lachlan was with Caeling in the hall going to the guard's quarter but is now with Emilia as she was left by the King.

Juliet is now with Caeling in the hall.

The King is in his rooms (I think)

Aldurin is with Rowan in the halls somewhere.

Robert is with the servants.

Lachlan watched the Prince as he told him to keep an eye on the Crown Prince and smirked, "I fear more for your brother than I do for my sister if he disrespects her. She will teach him otherwise," His smirk faded a moment later, "However, I will keep an eye on him. There is little I can do for the Queen in regards to his enjoyment in other women but I will ensure that she remains physically unharmed by him... And I will do my best to make him think twice about seeking enjoyment in other women."

He bowed to the Prince slightly, "Thank you for the warning."

Then the sound of someone running began to echo off the walls. He turned to see who it was that was running to them and spotted Juliet. She came to a halt in front of them and noticed the Prince before she curtsied, "Your Majesty," She said, her breathing calm and ever. As she straightened, she turned her attention to Lachlan, "There was an argument... After you left... Prince Rowan pulled a sword of the Lord before the King came in yelling and whisked them all away..."

She hesitated a moment, "The Queen was not with him."

Lachlan grunted slightly at the last bit of information. He didn't like the thought of the Queen alone or with other guards. Guards he did not know or trust. He turned to the Prince, "Excuse me... But I must find my Queen and ensure her safety..." He placed his hands on the visibly shaken girl's arms, "It will be alright."

Then he was gone, running down the hall in search of his sister.

Juliet watched as Lachlan ran off before she turned her attention back to the Prince and curtsied once more, "My apologizes for cutting your conversation short... So much has happened... I knew Lachlan would wish to be with his sister..."

She held her hands in front of herself, "If you wish, I will leave you be, Your Highness."

It did not take Lachlan as long as it thought it might to find his sister in the gardens. He slowed his pace and walked quickly to her, "You are alright," He stated, although he had been certain that no harm really would come to her. Not on the first day. Not yet.

He waved his hand, shooing the guard from her side and took his place before holding his arm out for her to hold as they walked. This allowed of the two of them to speak quietly and not be overheard by the guard that seemed unwilling to leave.

"Lady Juliet was worried," He began in a usual tone, "There was some commotion. The Crown Prince apparently pulled a sword on a quite disrespectful Lord."

He glanced over his shoulder before he continued, his voice low and quiet, "I was just approached by Prince Caeling. He wished to speak of your fiance... Wanted me to keep an eye on him," He whispered, "I know that you are thinking of Sevaviel and the possibility of taking Cylla... But is this truly the best decision for you when the Crown Prince's own brother speaks of him in such ways?"

Lachlan turned his head ever so slightly when Lord Ranold spoke to him. A small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips before he entirely looked at the man, "Bastard don't get to not be on their toes. Favoured or not. I will ensure that we are not caught of guard."

He returned his attention to those left standing before them and watched as a man began to give them all orders. He watched as how simple it was for the other man to call him a bastard. He had made no reaction to the name calling though. It was, after all, very common for people to call him as such. However, the thing that did get to him was the blatant disrespect him showed all of them. When the Princess stepped into correct the man, Lachlan bowed before straightening once more. As she addressed the name that the man used, he shook his head, "I care little about being called such. However, the disrespect to those whom are titled should not stand," He gestured to Juliet, "Lady Solana is a lady and should be addressed as such until she tells you otherwise," He glanced at Lord Ranold and nodded his head, "As for the Lord, he can speak for himself about how his wishes to be spoke to."

As a man walked in with his own bags, he held up his hand to stop him before removing them. He looked to the Princess and bowed once more, "My apologizes, your highness, but I believe that I should use this time that the Queen is preoccupied to unpack my things before she will need me once more."

With a final bow, he followed the man who had once been carrying his things to the guard's quarters. He was nearly to his rooms when he was stopped by someone saying his name. He handed his bag of once more to the man as he noticed that it was the Prince behind him, "Would you mind?"

The servant shook their head and quickly took his bag before rushing off to Lachlan's room. He turned to face the Prince entirely, giving him a small bow, "Prince Cealing, what brings you?"

Juliet was wringing her hands in front of her as the entire display happened. First from seemingly being reprimanded by the man quickly followed by Lord Ranold's outburst and then Sir Lachlan's in her defense. It seemed as though Lachlan left a moment to soon as the Crown Prince suddenly held his sword's blade to the man's throat. A small yelp escaped from her as the quick movement. She quickly covered her mouth as she watched in fear as the Prince threatened the man. The small thought of this being the man that Emilia was to marry struck another cord in Juliet... What if he was unkind to the Queen? Was it just the men that he placed at the end of his blade? She supposed she would find out because she had no intentions of leaving her Queen alone here...

She took a small step toward Lord Ranold, preferring the safety that the man with the sword presented if anything were to happen. She may be capable of defending herself but she could not protect herself against a Prince with a sword. She placed her hands against her stomach and looked to the Princess, she took a deep breath trying to seem unfazed by the goings on of the Prince to answer the Princess. However, the tremble was clear both with her hands and in her voice, "I should unpack Queen Emilia's things..."

Lachlan climbed out of the carriage that he and the Lord had been stuffed into for the last two days and stretched. He hated carriages as he often felt rather cramped in them and was never truly able to find a comfortable position inside of one. He would have preferred to ride that would have been a better way to spend the last two days. Not to mention, he would have been capable of seeing more, ensuring that everything was truly alright over just assuming so because it sounded to be that way. It was in past now though, the god awful ride soon to be a distant memory, replaced by the ever changing future... A future that held the marrying off of his half-sister to a Prince who did not maintain a very good reputation. Needless to say, Lachlan was worried... Whether or not this was what Sevaviel needed. Of course, he didn't have much of a say in who his sisters did or did not marry. He hardly had a say in anything anymore, not with his father dead.

He turned his attention to Emilia and Elissa as they climbed down from within their own carriage. He rested a hand on his sword's hilt as he walked over to the two of them. He said no a word to either and took to merely following them. If something were to go array, as things sometimes did with large gatherings of people, he wanted to be as close to the both of them as he could. After Emilia's greeting with her ladies in waiting, as excited as ever of their presence, he watched as she turned to address the King. As she curtsied, Lachlan gave the man a small nod, showing respect without risking the ability to properly take everything in around them.

He hardly listened to the King as he addressed his sister, taking to surveying their surrounding. As his eyes glanced over the Royals, he noticed the Prince was looking at him. He let his eyes slide quickly passed the man, not really wanting to make much eye contact. One could never tell how people of the Court would react to a Bastard in their presence. He often chose not to provoke... unless the person was really asking for it.

The gathering was quickly called to a close as the King decided to whisk Emilia away. Lachlan's hand tightened around his sword hilt. Although he was certain that Emilia was safe with the King, he didn't like the idea that moments into their arrival, she was already being whisked away. He took a deep breath and loosened his hand before he looked to his sister and the Ladies, "Go on, have fun."

Juliet held her skirts in one hand and took the hand that was offered to her as she climbed down from the carriage. Unlike Emilia, Juliet had never been to the Thirmos castle. She looked up in complete awe before turn to look at it all, her skirt fanning around her. She only stopped when she noticed the Queen walking towards them. She turned to her and wrapped her arms tightly around Emilia and grinned, "I'm so happy that you requested it," She squeezed one of the Queen's hands.

She followed the Queen forward, standing just behind her and her sister. As the girls curtsied, she mimicked but deepened her own as she was of lesser title than the both of them. Straightening, she looked up at the Royal family as she held her hands tightly in front of herself. It was amazing... When she was a child, she dreamed of just knowing Royalty. Now, not only was the Queen of her country not only her best friend but she was living in the home of an entirely different royal family. She glanced over at Lachlan, other than Melanie, he was the only other one of them who was some what out of their depth. Yes, he was the son of a King but he was not a Royal... She wondered if it ever pained him that his mother was a mistress rather than a wife... Surely, his life would be far better. He would be King not a penniless Knight.

When the King and Emilia left them, she walked over to him and placed her hand upon his, "Sir Reyes... Are you alright?"

Lachlan blinked a few times, bringing himself away from his scanning and thoughts to the girl whom was touching his gloved hand, "Yes... Quite... And please, it is Lachlan."

"Alright... Lachlan," Juliet said softly before looking around at the castle once more, "This place... is truly lovely."

Personality
Juliet displays herself like a proper lady. She is soft, sweet, gentle, and quiet. However, this isn't entire true. Below her porcelain like demeanor she is far from fragile. She is goofy, fun loving, and although she is protecting her virtue for her husband, she has been known to be rather flirtatious.

The only child of her parents, she was treated as both male and female by them. She is intelligent in more than a lady of her station should be. She understands politics but also fiances and even knows how to wield certain weapons. Despite her dainty appearance, she can hand her own against most men in combat. This allows her to be confident around men more than some women at court due to the fact that she can protect herself if need be. Of course, by looking at her, you would never be able to tell what she is capable of.

Background
Juliet was born in the summer months to her mother and father. Her father, hoping for a boy seemed to detest her. However, as she grew older and her father started to believe that she might be his only child, he joined her mother in rearing her. At the age of 7, she began to learn the proper etiquette of a lady in court as well as how to wield a sword. Always a quick learner, she began pick up both quite quickly as she wished to please both of her parents.

As she grew older, her mother began to fear that due to her capabilities that Juliet would never find a husband. Sending her with the Queen to a Maid in Waiting was a way for the girl to be around more men and less swords. Juliet, knowing that her father also wished for her to become a bride, packed her things and went to the Queen's aide. She had been attending to the Queen for a few years when the King died and the girl was to be sent to Thermos. Juliet followed without questioning it, knowing that it was not only what her parents would want from her but also what her friend, the Queen, would wish for as well.

Extra
Juliet has an in depth understand of a bow, sword, and tying her own corset.
