Construction Site Ruins, Thursday

Oh man, she was really going to die, wasn't she? No one really came to her aid for what seemed the longest time. Akane didn't dare turn her head to see what was coming her way-- if she did, she would probably shit herself then and there. All of a sudden, her Servant rushed forward, knocking away the sharp objects that had been aimed at her. That would have certainly killed her if Lancer hadn't arrived. "A-ah, right, I just need to find a way to get out of here!" she called over her shoulder. Another person showed up, this time a pale-haired male that didn't seem much older than she was. Was he on her side? Well... he wasn't running toward her or attacking her, but he engaged the stranger in combat. She only caught sight of the armored figure backing off before she suddenly felt herself become lighter than she usually was. And then, just as quickly, she was lifted into the air and spirited away from the construction site's ruins.

Panic began to flutter in her chest as she realized that she was flying. Akane clung to the person that had rescued her as she held back a scream, her eyes flooded with fear as she turned toward her "savior". Some fear was replaced with shock at the light-haired young woman in front of her. "L-Louise?" Was it really her? She didn't seem like the type of person that would be a mage, not to mention a mage that had summoned a Servant. She allowed herself to relax a little bit-- if it was Louise that had saved her, that probably meant that she had no reason to be afraid.

What would she do about Lancer? If he decided to go ahead and attack the other Servant and Louise and didn't back off no matter what she told him, she would have to use a Command Seal. She looked at the back of her hand as Louise explained her plan to the long-ranged Servant. It would be good to go back to the dorms. She'd probably lock herself in her room, afterwards...

Unnamed hotel, Thursday

Rider spent most of the day lurking around the city, searching for any reliable pieces of information (and shiny things that he found attractive) before sensing several presences nearby. The large man did not call upon Jebe to carry him as he could reach the area where the confrontation was going on before long. As the presences became stronger and stronger, he hid his own presence and proceeded with caution. What he saw was something surprising-- several mages and three Servants had revealed themselves. One seemed to be a Berserker, the other a Lancer... and the one that used the guns... he wasn't sure. Maybe Archer, or maybe even Caster, since guns were foreign to many of the Servants. At least he knew the male Servant's method of attacking, which was much like his own. There was also an armored figure-- probably Saber, but he did not see any glimpse of a sword.

Instead of leaping into the fray, Rider backed off and began to head toward the hotel that his Master resided in. It would have been idiotic to just jump in like that... but he had to admit, it would have been fun. He was itching for a fight. But it was more important to observe your enemy first, learn everything you can about them. He shoved his hands into his pockets as he arrived at the hotel, walking up some stairs before entering the room that his Master lived in.

He closed the door behind him, watching his Master closely before the shadow of a smirk came over his lips. "It was a busy day today, Master," he explained, walking over and taking a seat nearby. "There was a showdown at the construction site already. The Servants that the Grail has summoned are interesting. The Berserker class fights with appendages that look much like roots, and the Archer or Caster class uses firearms."

Okay I made my first character. I'm probably going to tweak her some more so... yeah. *tosses form at RP and hides*

~Name~
Aelia Theroux

~Age~
22

~Race~
Beorc

~Gender~
Female

~Affinity~
Wind

~Class~
Troubadour

~Equipment~
Staff, Vulnerary x3

~Appearance~
Standing at 5'7", Aelia's body composition is certainly not molded to wield an axe or sword. She is a thin woman with cream-colored skin. Her legs are long and toned from travelling on horseback and she bears a ragged-looking, yet faded, scar on her right thigh. She has brown eyes and pale blonde, wavy hair that she usually keeps up in a high ponytail.

~Personality~
It is not uncommon to think that a Troubodour such as Aelia Theroux would have a sunny and upbeat personality, but she does not fit the common healer stereotype. She is brash and bitter and is not afraid of stating what's on her mind, no matter if people are likely to punch her in the face. When it comes to healing, her hands do not have the "tender touch" of other medics; she is rather rough with her patients and will often tell the ones who are making a fuss to be quiet.

Despite being a sour woman most of the time, Aelia is known to stress and fret over the people who she cares about. Unfortunately, the stress only makes her become aggressive, rash, and even more blunt than she was before. She is known to charge headlong into battle to rescue a fallen comrade without a moment of thought during these times of extreme anxiety.

Surprisingly, there are instances of some people approaching Aelia to seek advice. Due to being painfully truthful and not holding back in telling someone they're being "idiotic" or "stupid", she is known to be a good consultant.

~Biography~
Ever since Aelia was a small girl, she was the prized possession of her father. Being a member of House Theroux, a minor Cliacian noble family known for its practioning in magic, her parents made sure that she was treated well by others. It was her father that taught her how to heal using staves while her mother showed her how to ride horses. She would become one of the many Troubadours that House Theroux raised as per tradition.

Her father left the household to fight in a war when she was only six years old. Aelia and her mother, along with the rest of House Theroux, were saddened by the fact that he had to leave, but the negative emotions in the household soon dissipated when it was discovered that her mother was expecting. Her mother and aunts were overjoyed-- Aelia, however, was not. She became jealous when all of the attention was placed on her mother and the developing baby inside of her, even though the outcome of the pregnancy would produce a little sibling that she could play and spend time with. After a while, her mother gave birth to a son that she named Anders. The tiny child looked strikingly similar to her father, which further delighted her mother and the household. Aelia was slowly becoming the second son of House Theroux's shadow, and she disliked it greatly.

Unfortunately, news of her father's death in the war reached the Theroux family when Anders became four. Her mother was severely impacted by her husband's death and entered a deep depression, beginning to cling and fret over Anders in an obsessive manner. Aelia was further ignored, and sometimes, she wondered if her own mother even knew she existed. It was then that she became demanding and spoiled, doing various things to get attention, no matter if it was negative or not. Instead of being seen as a "young lady" as she liked to be called, she was viewed as a spoiled brat that wanted everything to herself.

When Aelia was fifteen and Anders was nine, their mother told Aelia to begin to teach Anders how to ride on horseback much like she had taught her when she was younger. The two siblings got along decently with one another, though there were many times when Aelia was a bit too rough with him. Her mother trusted her either way, and she chose a proper horse for her little brother to practice on. One day, when Aelia was supervising Anders as he rode his horse, the mount became spooked and began to rear back. He fell off and landed on his back, fracturing part of his spine and leaving him crippled from the waist down. Her mother became deranged by the occurrence and began to blame her for her brother's injury. As he became more and more ill from his handicap, her own mother told her that it was her fault that Anders was dying. Aelia tried her best to heal her brother and make him walk and become healthy again, but there is only so much magic could do; Anders eventually died on his bed at House Theroux surrounded by his mother, aunts, and uncles. She was not allowed to attend his funeral and her mother refused to see her, no matter what she did.

Her mother's depression and opinion of Aelia became significantly worse over time. She had gone so far as to say that she had been the one that had killed her son and that she was nothing but a vile being that brought death and bad luck. Not being able to handle life in the household any longer, Aelia left when she was seventeen years old and took up residence with the local priest. The priest taught her more adept healing magic as time went on, and soon enough, she became close to him. He protected her from angered commoners and members of House Theroux, poisoned by her mother's words, making sure that no harm would befall her. Sadly, the priest became sickly and passed on when she was twenty. The people of the small city further believed her mother when they realized that the priest had died and believed that she brought nothing but bad luck. They threw stones at her and called her a witch, and some merchants did not allow her to purchase food from them.

Unable to deal with living in the city any longer, Aelia left and moved north when she was twenty.

While Solace and I haven't thought about that yet, I think it's a nice idea. I'll see what he says.
Yeah post them here first.
Actually, seeing people posting them in the character tab... just post them there.

And we'll be helping Cliace for now. ^^
I'll post tomorrow... tired.

Her legs are long and toned from traveling on horseback and she bears a ragged-looking, yet faded, scar on her right thigh. She has brown eyes and pale blonde, wavy hair that she usually keeps up in a high ponytail.

~Personality~
As a no-nonsense young woman, Aelia refrains from engaging in silly and childish acts. She doesn't care much for jokes and teasing and would rather stay away from those who wish to cause trouble than edge them on. Although she appears to be reclusive and unwilling to participate in conversations, she will speak to anyone who approaches her. She is slightly untrusting of people and strictly views the world as black and white. Due to this, she is a judgamental person and often comes to conclusions about a person rather quickly.

Despite appearing to a person with a dry personality, she cares about the ones she is close to. If someone depressed or saddened, Aelia is usually the first one at her side. However, she can become clingy and jealous when she sees them speaking to someone else. Due to this, some may see her as childish and rude-- even if someone were to tell her so, she would refuse to accept it.

Aelia is harsh on herself when she comes short of her own expectations. Whether it's because she wasn't able to nurse a person back to health or having been useless recently, she easily becomes stressed when she's not able to do what she wants to. These times of anxiety makes her skittish and somewhat blunt, though she tries her best not to insult anyone.

She traveled around the large nation for a short time before hearing Emperor Deacon Excellen's plea for volunteers to help calm the rebellion occuring in the country's provinces. Knowing that the group of volunteers would need more than one or two healers, she joined the group without a second thought. She hopes to be more useful than she was when she was traveling around aimlessly.
