"we can't let you leave with him. we need his debriefing on the situation because FUCK FIGHTING THOSE THINGS WITHOUT INFORMATION ON THEM. Besides, we have medical facilities here and he needs attention" she replies evenly, very obviously against letting him leave with matt without debriefing them.
@supertinyking

Unsurprisingly, his pretty much instantly tazed via a nice number of turrets that come out of the ceilings, walls, and floor and the sergals present when insulting them in the middle of their territory before he's hauled off to a detainment center (which has a surprisingly comfortable bed) while matt's taken to a medical bay, allowing him to wake up to a blood transfusion and a surgeon recharging his cybernetics painlessly with him strapped to the table.

@thewizardguy

"welcome back to the land of the waking" the surgeon says evenly, towering over matt as he works on the cybernetics using rather advanced equipment as he recharges the cybernetics and gives them a fine tuning, making sure they're up to snuff and not chaffing or anything.

the squad of sergals falls back to The fallen emperor and nathan, getting close before taking out something akin to a grenade, dropping it at their feet as they take out a small stick of metal with a button on top, making sure that everyone was touching the person holding said stick before the button was pressed and the group was taken to a sergal ship near instantly, the grenade levitating and pulling in the void steel as though it had an immense gravity well, leaving the room hyper compacted along with everything in it before exploding, killing the tyranids in the hallway. The other group studies the hole in reality breifly before going through the same process to leave, all of the groups gone.

With their food source and reason for staying now gone, the tyranid force there simply left, a great, leviathin-like creature bursting from the ship to ferry the remaining forces elsewhere, slipping through a portal to places unknown where food and allies awaited, the hulking remnants of babylon and all present forces being left to be swallowed by the plot hole in the middle of nowhere.
@thewizardguy

considering the sergals weren't complete tactical idiots, they had actually scanned before hand using pulse sensors which were quite useful for getting around jamming technology albeit at the cost of loss of pinpoint percision, giving the sergals a general area where the security room would be, narrowing it down to a particular section of the ship albeit the options were only narrowed down to about four rooms, making the take a good while to search each one before finding the room they were looking for and beginning to deactivate the security systems along specific paths that were needed while also getting a more in-depth map of the ship (as well as deactivating the extermination protocol)
@thewizardguy

The sergals took up defensive positions, their sheilds making sure the radiation didn't touch them as the wounded were teleported out with planar buoys, creating a direct link to the warp gate target without being bogged down by matt's shielding, their teleportation systems having been refined to mastery before being worked over anew with their knowledge, making the only thing capable of blocking them being disconnecting from all other universes AND the void. The remaining sergals, however, were given strange weaponry not that distant in thought to the energy blades found amongst force users of various forms with personal arm shields that were entirely separate from their personal sheilds, making the front troops capable of taking heavy fire without flinching (albeit at the cost of their ranged weaponry) while the very back troops were outfitted with the same thing, leaving all areas covered as they advanced on their target, closing in on the central security station within the hour at their ridiculous pace, the fire power of the remaining systems not quite able to touch them as they rushed for their goal, not stopping to return fire.

The fight with the tyranids on the other hand was going quite well for matt's defenses, the hand of god cutting through the lightly armored forces present like they weren't even there, the rippers not even touching it, simply exploding against it's shields when they try, as the sergals followed nathan for the most part, approaching matt's door way and placing a few devices, backing off, and waiting before there's a small "ding" and the doors open, the sergals keeping the tyranid forces present at bay with the assistance of the hand of god, staying out of it's way as they fight, nathan being left to talk to the fallen emperor with the lovely melody of the death rattles of gaunts and rippers plays in the background.
@thewizardguy

the sergals coming across the automated defenses just sort of blow it up as it begins warning them, their scans reading the remnants from the turret before marking their maps to be able to spot them within a radius before they came across them and move on, taking out the turrets when they get within firing range (which is actually remarkably far).

The second group took up a defensive position as they advanced, the tyranids popping up sporadically with either ripper swarms or hormogaunts, all the larger life-forms staying further in, the tyranid infection having been spreading rapidly since their arrival, leaving the ship's defenses being assaulted from inside, the rippers doing a number on the various wires and tubes while the hormogaunts destroyed the drones.

The swarm stirs at the smell of fresh bio mass, hormogaunts and termigaunts pouring out of the walls and under the grated floors to rush at nathan and the seragals with him, teeth nashing and blades flashing, the sergals doing their best to gun them down but there were only five of them against a horde of hungry tyranids. Matt, on the other hand, was not quite so luck as he was trapped in his safe room, the first four levels of defenses having already been breached by the tyranid spore clouds, eating away at the ship through the vents and slowly making their way to him as he's able to see the largest creatures to be right outside his position, leaving him nothing more to do than cower and pray for help to arrive quickly
@thewizardguy@supertinyking

Rather than run away, three seperate ships are launched from the main frigates, a boarding part being sent in with seperate missions, getting past the sheilds surprisingly easilly before moving out, one team meeting up with nathan and simply running past him, rifles at the ready.
@thewizardguy

After exactly three minutes of silence, babylon is subjected to immensely thorough life scans, scouring the entire ship for crew (as well as explosives cause they just ended a war) while the two wing ships move in to either side of the great, hulking metal floating through space
@thewizardguy

Despite not being the intended targets, the sergals no doubt hear the transmission due to their proximity to the clones, having eradicated the rebels fully with their armies and supply lines being able to completely circumvent the gurilla tactics of the now felled united empires, their lands distributed and their supplies assimilated after a thorough purging campaign, the leaders being impaled and left in front of the most active diplomatic station as testaments to exactly why one does not simply fuck with the sergals.

The transmitter of the message finds a deceptively small sergal fleet to appear less than a minute after transmitting their S.O.S. and hail him on comms, a rather surly, female captain asking "state the nature of emergency and empire of origin"
@Wraithblade6@supertinyking

Strygwyr felt a searing pain accompanied by sheer rage as the god's hold begins to slip, his own blood lust remaining at his maximum he'd ever been while serving the twins up to the point the clouds blocking the planet disperse and the planet quakes with activity, clone scanners picking up a planet-sized creature comeing out of it as if it were hatching from an enormous egg before disappearing into a portal, using the moment of dual retreat to escape into places unknown, the seeker of combat now back within the warm embrace of the twins rather than the hard malestrom of the god's mighty will that had been forced upon him and had only receded from him once planet-wide storm had passed, leaving the two forces to gaze up on the aftermath, the minerals and all life on the planet having been stripped, leaving a floating rock with a rapidly thinning atmosphere orbiting the star. Where once there had been forests lay only the crags the tyranids had burst from. Where once there had been vast oceans lay only muddy valleys that came away hard at the touch due to the rapid expungence of moisture to feed the locust-like swarm that had been hiding in the planet's core, leaving all present to wonder: what would happen where this force able to grow larger?
