A rancid stench, just like that of rotting meat. An opressive feeling, just like that of Father's disapproval when he found out she fluked that end of term exam. Miyako wriggled on the wooden floor, deep into a dreadful nightmare until the smell jolted her awake. Straightening up, she looked around her just to see how she went from a horrorific vision to another one. "What... What happened to the class?" she asked outloud. The only answer she got was the sound of her own breathing. "Is... anyone here?" she voiced, crealy anxious as she slowly stood up. The creaky sound of the planks under her feet was the world's reply. Not her world, though; it was a completely different place, as the scarlet sky and the macabre landscape evidenced. Not even the classroom was saved from the chaos: the chairs and desks were scattered around the place, the walls were covered in a dark, thick sludge and the blackboard, asides of being unhinged, was covered with deep scratches.
Fear began to settle in the young girl's mind as she walked around the classroom, capturing more and more details of the gruesome scene, slowly becoming more and more anxious. Finally, when she couldn't cope with the situation anymore, she froze were she stood. She remained in that position for a couple of seconds, tears welling up in her eyes as she muttered "No... No... No... No..." Miyako's denial soon began to pick up in speed and strength, sending the young maiden to her knees as she shrieked for help, grasping her head while she looked on the floor. She should have never opened her eyes, she should have remained in the nightmare.

Enter puberty: Miyako was the third youngest child and also the only girl among the kids, so she soon was pushed apart from them as they began to do "Boy-only" activities. Sensing the situation, both her mother and her grandmother, who had the family's rather antiquated view of the role one should have, took the chance to teach the young Miyako about the arts of being a good housewife. The then tomboyish kid was slowly modeled to be a proper lady: quiet; refined and graceful, and that began to show on her physichal attitude over her teenage years.
However, Miyako never forgot the fun times she had with her siblings and cousins when she was a kid, and always wondered why she couldn't hang with them anymore.
Personality: Miyako can be described as a housewife seed: she is a very polite and humble woman who is dedicated to honor her mother and grandmother lessons. She spends most of her time listening in silence, preffering to talk only when she's adressed directly. Miyako is always curious about what would happen if she were to act out of place, but is very afraid of the backlash she could suffer from such ungraceful actions.

Although they were both shocked and confused by the news the doctor provided, her parents decided to keep her as a child instead of giving her up for scientists to be a human test subject.
Her childhood was somewhat awkward, but could still be considered to be good. Raised to be sweet and gentle with people, Tanith managed to overcome most of the prejudices she received from her other, normal classmates. She was never popular, as any attempt to upset her with her appearance dwindled when they were confronted by an upbeat attitude and a bright smile. One of her classmates even came up with the nickname "Tanya" when he heard it on TV, saying that it was simpler to say than Tanith. Agreeing with his reasoning, she soon began using it to the point where even her family called her that way.
When she was beginning high-school, she recognized a face on an old poster, refering to an old criminal. When she brought it up to her brother, he agreed that the man indeed looked like their previous neighbour, who moved away when she was 1 year old. The man in question, a retired chemist who developed devices for other evil-doers, had turned himself in for an unknown reason. Tanya asked around and, after a considerable amount of time, managed to arrange a meeting with him: the man, Gaston Turner, had agreed to the reunion when he heard that she was the little, mutated baby that lived right next to him. When they saw each other, Gaston was quick to explain the origins of her condition: the residues of his products had affected her mother's pregnancy, resulting in Tanya's condition.
The moment Gaston realized it was his fault, an overwhelming feeling of guilt took over and made him confess his deals to the police, along with the names of a great number of his business partners, in order to make amends for it. Seeing that Tanya was doing fine, Gaston was very relieved and wished her luck in life. It wrecked Tanya's feelings to learn that, just a few days after the meeting, Gaston had committed suicide. After mourning his death, Tanya decided to finish wrapping up the results of Turner's change of heart and, with her parent's permission, she entered the Hero School.
Ability: Draconic Visage: Tanya's body possesses several qualities that one would commonly associate with a dragon:

• Scales: Some parts of Tanya's body are covered in auburn scales, namely her hands, forearms and most of her back and legs. They're notably durable and resistant. In addition...
• Claws: Tanya's fingertips have taken the shape of short, sharp claws. They make for good weapons, but otherwise they're cumbersome for daily chores.
• Feet: Tanya's feet have been described many times as feral, their ankle being in a slighty higher position than normal and both of them posessing three thick fingers instead of the normal five. In addition, her feet also have a claw on each finger and a sharp protuberance just below her ankle. As a result, her position naturally adjusts itself in order to mantain balance.
• Horns: Tanya sports a couple of large horns, made of the same material than her scales.
• Increased Body Mass: As a result of her scales and horns, Tanya's despectively heavy for her build.
• Enhanced Strength and Agility: Taking in account the additional weight it bears, Tanya's body has naturally developed its muscles in order to deal with the increased mass. Thanks to this, and to a regular work-out routine, Tanya is slightly stronger and faster than an average human
• High Body Temperature: Tanya's body temperature is a couple of degrees higher than that of a normal human. This leads to a natural resistance to both hot and cold temperatures.
• Enhanced Senses: Overall, Tanya's hearing, smell and sight are quite good. However, her sense of touch is notably dull, hampering Tanya's ability to sense temperature
• Enhaced Immunological System: Self-explanatory, her biological defenses are notably high.

Appearance: Líadan is a tall, slender young woman whose most distinctive trait is her ashen complexion. Her dull green eyes often have a gloomy look on them which, coupled by the seemingly permanent bags under her eyes, give her an overall downbeat expression. Her messy white hair is a clear hint to the fact that she cuts it herself.
More often than not, Líadan is seen wearing a large white coat—Hecate's Embrace—fastened to her body via a great number of belts which has extremely long sleeves, and knee-high leather boots. Under it, she wears the typical Illuminate female school uniform.
Personality: Quiet to a fault, Líadan is an extremely awkward person who has a great deal of problems when it comes to social interactions. In addition to that, she's quite distrustful to strangers, excessively noisy persons and Faunus.
A reclusive bookworm, she spends most of her time with her nose buried in whatever book catched her eye at the moment, wether it be a horror story to an antiquated encyclopedia. Most of the knowledge she gains from this routine remains in her memory for a couple of weeks, were she eagerly awaits for someone to listen to her commentary about the book, one of the few things she's able to talk about without any kind of inhibition.
History: Lìadan was born in the Viridian Fields, a small rural town on the countryside of Vale, in the belly of a numerous and well-mantained family. Possessing the largest farm in several miles around, the Silverstein Household provided with a great deal of the vegetable production of both the Viridian Fields and of neighboring settlements, earning a respetable reputation among merchants.
However, this only led to the Silverstein's downfall when a large drought destroyed all of that year's production. The head of the family —Líadan's grandfather— tried to keep the Household in the same respectable position it had before, but it only ended in disaster and led to every member of it dispersing around the world in order to seek fortune. Líadan, being 11 years old at the time, was taken by her older brother and sister to the city of Vale, where they wanted to lead her in the way of a huntress.
Sadly, both of her older siblings had a rough time finding any kind of job and they ended up living in the slums and partaking in illegal activities in order to pay for Líadan's school: her brother turned into a contrabandist, and her sister took a job as an exotic dancer in a low-life pub.
Surrounded by humanity's filth, Líadan tried to enjoy her time at the combat school but her dull demeanor ended up turning people away from her. Her sister tried to liven things up for the girl by teaching her how to dance. She was surprised when she found out Líadan had integrated those same dance moves in a combat scenario when she had enough practice with them, so both her and her brother decided to gift Líadan with some kind of weapon. He cashed in a favour a weapon manufacturer owed him and tailored Hecate's Embrace, and she gifted Líadan with Sirocco, a pair of boots she used to protect herself from leecherous customers whenever she needed to. With those new weapons at hand, the young girl took the Illuminate entrance exam and managed to pass it, earning a place in the famous academy at the time both of her siblings began to travel towards Mistral, where one of their uncles had started a Dust mining operation. This left Líadan alone to face her hardest challenge: the Illuminate Academy.

Weapon: Hecate's Embrace: Besides being a comfortable winter get-up, her coat doubles as her signature weapon along with a durable armor. The sleeves of Hevate's Embrace have several threads hanging from their unusual length which have small but sharp steel blades sewn onto their tips. The belts and the coat itself is made of a resistant fabric, the purpose of the former being the storage of Dust in order to support Líadan's combat style: Wind Dust is stored in the sleeves and Steam Dust in the torso.
Sirocco: Líadan's boots can also function as a weapon, their tips reinforced with metal and the heels serving as a Wind Dust storage compartiment, which is used to speed up their user, provide with a higher jump height and, overall, provide an increased maneuverability.
Semblance: Razor Wind: Líadan is able to launch sharp air-based projectiles akin to a sword's blade, their size and strength varying on both the oxygen in the enviroment and Líadan's Aura.
Dust: She mainly uses Steam Dust, along with a smaller amount of Wind Dust.
Other: Her favorite food is dark chocolate, although it's a dessert more than anything.

Brief History: Born in the Amazonia, Alba is the forest's main defense mechanism against its destruction, working to fix the damage humans make to her home. She purposefully isolated herself from any contact with modern civilization because, from what she saw, humans are clumsy and overall uncaring creatures that would never listen to any kind of dialogue if it were to interrupt their tasks at hand.
Alba spent her life slowly regrowing the barren sections of the forest but, as one would expect, her own power isn't enough to counter the deforestation. Desperate for help, Alba began making contact with several of the tribes that reside inside the rainforest and showed them the oncoming disaster. However, the tribes had a different reaction than what Alba expected. Almost all of them responded with humanity's characteristical belicose nature, and began arming themselves so that they would kick out the invaders from their forest. The remaining tribes, having been contacted by civilization before, were too afraid to make an advance against those monsters made of noise, glass and metal. Even now, Alba Fey is fighting to recover the Amazon Rainforest on her own.
