Speedster Physiology Kid Flash possesses a enhanced physiology suited for immense speeds. Her cardiovascular and respiratory system, are many times more efficient than that of a normal human being. Her brain's processing speed is also much higher than the average person (see below).

High school student Mary Maxwell loved reading comic books and longed to be a super hero instead of spending her days studying and assisting her scientist parents. But she didn't know was that her parents were working for a secret group called STEALTH on genetic modification (which was designed to help people survive time travel). One day Mary, her father and mother were attacked at their own house and escaped successfully on a rocket-propelled car. Just as they were far enough away, her father admitted everything about working for STEALTH. When her parents discovered the group's true purpose was to commit crimes in the past and escape to another time STEALTH threatened to kill Mary if the two scientists stopped working for them.
While on the run, Mary was exposed to a green mist, a chemical weapon developed by STEALTH, and soon began to suffer from constant fatigue. Her mother would soon develop a serum based off of hummingbird DNA to increase her metabolism. Unfortunately just as her mother was injecting her with the serum she was shot, and she pumped the full dose of serum, altering Mary's DNA. Mary suddenly discovered that she had superhuman speed. With help from her father Mary fought off the attacking agents, but sadly was unable to get her mother to a medical center in time to save her life.
Mary's father would go on the run from STEALTH while concerned for his daughter's safety sent Mary to live with her god parents in New York.
Mary was sent to New York the day after Robin died.
My name is Mary Maxwell, and I'm the fastest girl alive. Just about a month ago I became a superhero just like in all the comic books I've read. My parents were brilliant scientists. Unfortunately they got involved with an organization called STEALTH: Special Team of Espionage Agents Licensed to Target and Hit. When my parents tried to break away from STEALTH, the organization came after us. My mother was shot, yet not before injecting me with a secret serum that gave me the ability to move at superspeed.
I wasn't fast enough to save my mom, but her death would not be in vain. Inspired by the hero known as The Flash I patrol the streets of Keystone City stopping bad guys and saving lives.
Today I received an email from none other than Robin, the Boy Wonder, the young sidekick of The Batman. The only other teen hero that I'm aware of sent me an email! Apparently, he wants to put together a team of teen super dudes and wants me as a member. Too cool!
Sadly, it took about 10 hours for Kid Flash to reach Gotham. When the 15 year old speedster finally arrived at the meeting placed she had depleted her backpack of sports drink and was quite winded. The trip was the longest she had ever ran up to that day.
"Sorry I'm.... I'm late guys," she said between pants. "Does anyone h-have a cheesebur--"
**THUNK!**
Kid Flash had been so wiped from her journey that she hadn't taken in her surroundings... like the Multiplex duplicate behind her.

- Accelerated Metabolism Kid Flash has an accelerated metabolism, rendering her resistant to weight gain, illness, injury, and accelerating her healing speed.
- Accelerated Perception She can perceive everything at accelerated rate. Currently this allows her to see normally while traveling at faster than normal speeds.
- Enhanced Stamina Kid Flash's body is highly resistant to the build-up of fatigue toxins in her blood, allowing her to be physically active for considerably longer periods of time than the average person.
Superhuman Speed At present, the Fastest Girl Alive can reach a top speed of 200mph (321.8 km/h).
(In the future, through natural development as well as training, Kid Flash's physiology will continue to adapt to allow her to travel at higher speeds. If the GM permits, Samara may gain the following abilities.)

Superhuman Speed In the future, with growth and training, Kid Flash will become faster, capable of traveling past the speed of sound and possibly reaching Mach speeds. Mary will also be able to produce such feats as: vertical running, running on water, speed striking, tornado generation, and more.

- Accelerated Perception - Kid Flash's mind and senses process information at such speeds that time appears to have slowed down, allowing her to perceive what would normally be moving too fast to see and respond accordingly.
- Accelerated Thought Process - She can process information at incredible speeds, allowing her to analyze and come to conclusions at an unprecedented rate.
- Enhanced Durability - Kid Flash's physical durability (ability to endure/resist damage) is extremely high, allowing her to take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects. (Once she gains this ability Mary won't have to depend on her costume for protection against impact damage.)
- Enhanced Reflexes - Mary has drastically enhanced reaction speed, allowing her to dodge bullets, catch flies in mid-air, dodge and maneuver around complex attacks, catch falling objects, block detriments and react instantaneously to what others take more time to react to.
- G-Force Adaptation - The Fastest Girl Alive is immune to stress and strains caused by g-force: the acceleration felt as weight, this acceleration experienced by an object is due to the vector sum of non-gravitational forces acting on an object's freedom to move.

Weaknesses
- Accelerated Metabolism She needs to ingest more food/calories than the average girl her age. Also, having an accelerating healing speed isn't always a good thing.
- Superhuman Speed Slippery and extremely sticky surfaces can prove difficult for Kid Flash to run over. (This is a weakness she could possibly overcome in the future.)
- Magic and Psionics Mary is just as susceptible to magical and psionic attacks as the average human.
