Hey, @Omega Man and @Afro Samurai, might I offer a suggestion.
In order to avoid confusion, maybe we shouldn't refer to the top leader as King Kobra. Knight is already fighting a "King Kobra", and now it's been revealed that King Kobra's leader is called King Kobra. What's gonna happen if our heroes loose sight of both of them? And then suddenly King Kobra shows up again ... but which one?
Might I suggest we refer to the top chief as something else? Maybe all the generals are kings and their leader is "Emperor Kobra", "The God Kobra" or something like that? They have had other leaders through time, I think.

Edit: I hope all this didn't come out wrong ;)
Oh, I just posted before I read this. But hopefully it doesn't interfere with yours.

Midway City…
Madness had once again returned to the streets as snake-people attacked left and right.
Having her feet solidly planted in a station wagon Knight greeted the first cult member with an elbow to the sternum that send him backwards into the hood. “Here’s a tip, don’t let your opponent dictate the fight, it’s gonna – Oh, shit he's not out!” she exclaimed just in time to dodge his jump back up. Knight kept her footwork going and grabbed the incoming claw.
His other claw immediately struck the armor on her right arm. Not a single scratch was visible, only a long green trail of venom.
“Don’t let them cut you!” Knight yelled to her team, while folding and ultimately breaking her opponent’s arm through a series of moves. Before she could put down the snake-man for good, another launched at her. With a back-flip she got herself down from the vehicle and brought the reinforced part of her arm to their ankles.
The success of her escape was brief, as another cult member grabbed her and began a wrestling contest. With something slightly above human strength, he pulled her backwards and revealed the only two teeth he had in his mouth. Clearly the work of a dentist and not nature itself, yet the fangs did seem smeared in the same kind of poisonous green stuff. In a haunting hiss his head came forward and then drew back again like a whip, when the bite missed. Then came another attempt, before Knight separated one hand from the struggle, broke off the side view mirror and stuffed it into his incoming mouth. The creature paused before she broke the mirror by slamming an uppercut into his jaw, spreading glass everywhere.
Knight took a second to catch her breath and admire Polymer’s handiwork on the cult. Mystical constructs of magic also did a real number on a few of the opponents, and she knew she had Dr. Fate to thank for that.
Fate is at my side, huh? Yeah, alright.
A snake-man made the mistake of charging head first into a flying kick of hers and was immediately thrown to the ground where he stayed.
Standing in the middle of the brawl, Knight allowed a beam of hope to shine down on her. Though this was no picnic, the Justice League was fighting back the invaders with resourceful efficiently. If they kept this up they would-
As if someone had pushed the fast-forward button on a rattlesnake, Aliff interrupted her confidence with a strike from the tip of his fingers. The attack went strait into the hardened fabric on her chest with enough force to send her backwards into the concrete.
She clutched her upper body and let out a painful moan.
Above her an inpatient Aliff moved around. Raised his hands like he was an Egyptian dancer in the year 500 BC and kept crouching, standing and bending.
“What are you … oh right, you are doing that Martial Arts snake fighting style. Why did I expect anything else?” she joked.
“Silence! I will destroy you in the blink of an eye!”
“Speaking of which. How come your eyelids aren’t transparent?” Hardly did Knight get time to finish her sentence, before his claws came down at her. Only just did she manage to roll out of the way and kick his wrist into a painful angle. She used his limb as leverage and jumped back on her feet.
“You fool,” he sneered, waving his long fork-tongue with each word. “I got you before. Your armor almost held, but I penetrated it with just the tip.”
“No, you didn’t. Knight lied, trying to keep her casual exterior.
“I felt it: My clawsss against your bare ssskin. And even if it was only a small amount, the venom will enter your system. The more you fight, the sooner it paralyzes you. Sssso … what are you going to do now, little hero?”
In that moment it felt like the whole city had gone quiet. Nothing else around them mattered. Knight stared at Aliff and he stared back. Then she raised her arms, tightened her fists and charged him.
There’s your answer, creep!
I'm working on a post now, just finished reading up on the IC earlier. I 'like' everything after I read it when I remember to so you guys know I'm keeping up. I'll be in the Discord in a sec if anybody on the JLU side of the fence wants to contribute some dialogue to my post...

What kind of post is it? One that wraps it up?
Cause I too am working on a post. But I can just adapt if your post doesn't fundamentally change the entire fight.
@Unknown100 are you afraid of lizards? If not have you ever thought of just imagining snakes as limbless lizards? I used to have a phobia of fish and I just imagined em like those little fake plastic fish and got over it.

Not too keen on them either, through they not nearly as bad. But no, imagining snakes as limpness lizards doesn't work, hehe :p

Edit: Writing about snakes isn't bad though, only having to look at actual snakes or images of them.
I had to look up a few things about snakes. Have I mentioned that I'm deadly afraid of snakes? Well I am. The mere images of them freaks me out. So damn you guys for making me do research on them :p

Midway City…
Hardly had Knight taken her first step before a new figure appeared right behind her. She turned and breathed a sigh of relief. Both that it was not an enemy that had surprised her. And that she hadn’t greeted Dr. Fate with a knee to the helmet.
”Forgive the delay. I am Dr. Fate, and today, fate is at your side.” he said, his voice almost echoing in the streets, though such would seem to violate the laws of nature.
Knight clicked her tongue in response. “Eh… cool,” she answered and hoped it didn’t come off as disrespectful. She had once again caught herself wondering, if she should complete her Knight persona by adding a helmet.

Seriousness came when approaching the Cult of Cobra. The chaos, that had surely ensued when the cult arrived, had resulted in a traffic jam going on for about to blocks each way. Aside from a few civilians hugging the steering wheel, the streets seemed rather empty. Only the distant yells of fear reminded the Justice League that people hadn't disappeared, merely run away.
As Phantom had already been able to pinpoint the Kobras hiding on the rooftops, Knight and the others could advance, knowing full well how the ambush would happen.
“Lock the doors. Stay in there,” she mumbled while passing an elderly woman shaking her in vehicle. Knight turned her head to Robotman. “We’re on the same page, right? Keep the attention on us and away from the people in the cars.”
In the absolute center, where all the roads crossed, stood who could only be the current commander of this assault: A 7ft tall, scaly monster. Neither man nor snake. His dark red scales shone in the sunlight as if slightly greasy. When speaking a raspy s-sound followed. “Welcome Justice League to your deathssss!”
Knight blinked and turned to the others. “Well, who didn’t see that line coming?” she mumbled.
“My name iss Aliff and-“
“If that's your name, you should consider buying a vowel,” she interrupted and saw his narrow pupils twitch.
In a fit of animalistic rage, he dissed the robe, he had been wearing and revealed his bare chest and well-built arms. Like pythons they were. Instead of a command he used his strong neck to snap in the general direction of the heroes while doing a long hissing sound. Somehow that qualified as an attack order.
Only the mouths and hands were visible on his men, but that alone made them look not entirely human. The rest of their bodies were covered in skintight material, displaying various Egyptian symbols and snake drawings. When climbing down the building with unnatural speed, it was clear they outnumbered the League and wouldn’t exactly be pushovers. Their roars were loud and their claws visibly poisonous.
Alright, let’s do this the hard way, I guess.
Knight jumped on top of an abandoned station wagon and hit her wrists together, creating a firework of sparks.

And then the fight was on…
Anyway, I'll do the post that's going to start the fight then :)
They'll resemble the Kobra Cult from Batman Beyond...

Only uner the mask they're legit humanoid snakes now...

So I should go for it? 😁
wheres da posts at ya'll

I'm ready to post much more. I just thought maybe Omega Man would lay the groundwork for the villains, before the JLU begins fighting them. How the cult looks, or what exactly they are doing, the moment the heroes interrupt them.
I can certainly make a post where Knight is the first to engage them, but then I would pretty much dictate how the rest of the League would proceed them. Size, strength, design, personality etc. Of course the rest have a chance to build on top of what I have created, but how I describe them might not be the vision, Omega Man had envisioned.
I'll gladly do it though.
