@Ryuzaki I think that we need to have the time gate without the need for a pendant, or physical item that a specific character carries/uses. I know that Lucca always had the Gate Key, but she was always with the party. If someone gets separated from the person who can open the gates, then they are stuck, unless it's something that everyone has.
Of course, if we're all together, all of the time, then we can have the pendant, or gate key, or Raynard's fox curse etc.

Name: Vance Meridian
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Personality: Vance is a kind soul, and in that, he is usually taken advantage of by people. He'll never hesitate to help someone in need, and is sometimes very emotional and fiercely protective of those he cares about.
History: After the war, Vance was promptly picked up by the government in order to test, study, and replicate his abilities. He was put through grueling tests, and subjected to torture to see the mental limits of his constructs. He eventually knew what he had to do, though he didn't know what the next day would bring. Unlike previous tests, where he was pushed to exhaustion, he withheld his power in his last one for two reasons. One was so that the scientists would assume that he was weakening, and wouldn't push so hard, and the other was to conserve energy to escape when the test was finished. It barely worked. As soon as he broke out of the facility, he was on the run with just the clothes on his back. He ran for what seemed like days, using his energy constructs to support the muscles in his legs by creating 'casts' which he moved using concentration when his muscles threatened to give out to give them a rest.
He found a small village that took him in, helped him with his wounds, and gave him sanctuary while he recovered. His experiences had made him paranoid, and wary to stay in one place for too long, so as soon as he was able, he was on the move again, and never stopped for too long.

Vance has the ability to create objects from force of will. He usually creates shields, or weapons, whatever the situation calls for. The weakness of this ability, is that the bigger the construct, the weaker it is. A normal shield the size of a person can deflect bullets without issue, but if he were to make a shield the size of a house, the bullets would be slowed, but could still penetrate. Also, the bigger the construct, the more concentration is needed to maintain, and repair it, which gives Vance a massive headache, and can sometimes lead to unconsciousness. His constructs have a blue color to them, and are semi-transparent.
Belongings: He carries a satchel over one shoulder, which has clothes, a small first aid kit, and a few lighters for camping. He also keeps a silver cross around his neck at all times.
