Anxius nodded. "Very well then," He said as he began to struggle to his feet, "We're going."

Malacia looked at him in alarm. "Anxius, please wait!" She said, gently pushing him back down. "You really need to rest! You can hard hardly walk in this condition!"

Anxius snarled at her. Malacia took a step back in surprise. "I'm not sitting around like this all day!" He said angrily. Malacia looked at him sadly and said nothing as he continued to attempt to stand up. After a short while, Anxius finally stood on his feet. For a moment he nearly lost balance, but he caught himself in time before he fell. He groaned quietly as he felt the wound send another wave of pain.

"Anxius..." Malacia mumbled hopelessly as Anxius cautiously began walking around.

Malacia nodded and picked up the herbs. She walked over to Anxius' side and sat down. She placed the herbs on the grass next to herself. She took a few herbs from the small pile and began chewing them up. She frowned in disgust as the foul taste hit her. Anxius wearily watched her, not eager to experience the herbs that undoubtedly tasted awful, judging from the expression on Malacia's face. Malacia caught Anxius' gaze and gave him a guilty smile. Once she was done chewing the herbs, she began carefully and gently placing them on the injury. She sensed Anxius tense, but he did not protest or cry out in pain. Once she was done, she leaned back and examined her work. Satisfied, she stood up again and turned towards the wolf and rabbit.

"I think that should do," She said, "Thank you. You probably want to go now. I'd rather not try to move him while he's still injured like this."

Anxius watched the wolf leave the clearing. Malacia lay down next to Anxius and looked at his wound sadly. The blood continued to slowly ooze out of the wound, matting and ruining the fur around it, and eventually dripping onto the grass. She looked away and gazed off into the forest, waiting anxiously for the wolf to return. She avoided making eye contact with the the rabbit, who quietly glared at them, but made sure to not lose track of him in case he tried something. The two hyenas continued to wait around for the wolf, not saying anything to each other.

After a few minutes, the wolf finally returned with the herbs. Anxius' mood quickly dropped as the wolf explained the small predicament they had. He glared at the smiling wolf disapprovingly. Malacia glanced at Anxius and saw the expression on his face. For a moment she almost forgot her worries and stifled a giggle at his annoyance. She looked up at the wolf. "Perhaps I could do it? I don't really know how to work with this medicine, but I'm willing to learn," She said brightly. "I'm sure he'd feel more comfortable that way as well," She continued, hiding another smile.

Anxius said nothing for a while. He didn't know what to think. He was not sure he trusted the peacock, and he most certainly did not trust the wolf. He still needed help, however. Neither he nor Malacia knew any medicine. Even if they did, they would have no idea what herbs to use up north.

He glanced up at Malacia. She returned the gaze, clearly frustrated at his silence. He sighed. He hated to accept assistance from the wolf, but he was not about to leave Malacia all alone. He looked up at the wolf. "Very well. I need help," He said grudgingly.

"Yes, please," Malacia said, nodding at the wolf. Yes, Anxius was going to be healed, and then they were leaving. Anxius was surely going to be angry about failing the hunt, but Malacia did not care about the rabbit anymore. They could go a little while longer without eating; they would eventually find a deer or similar without a Hissatsu.

Anxius winced and carefully lay back down on the ground. He glanced at the wound in his side. Blood matted his once white fur. He turned away and rested his head on the ground, trying to not think any more about it. He looked up at the wolf bemusedly. What was the wolf thinking? He wanted to help the hyenas who almost killed his little rabbit friend? Northerners certainly had a different way of approaching their wounded enemies, that was for sure. "Tell me," Anxius grumbled, "why would you want to help me? Truly."

(Sorry for the somewhat rushed yet still late post. Having a lot of trouble writing lately, and I have to go out in a few minutes.)

"Anxius!" Malacia cried out. She ran to Anxius' side and let him lean on her as he struggled to his feet. "Anxius, please! Are you okay?" She said in panic. She knew he was not okay. She saw the wound; she saw what happened. Her eyes began to water. She knew what might happen and she did not want to think about it. She just wanted to hear the reassuring lies from him; she wanted to hear that he was okay.

"T-Thanks," Anxius groaned. He glanced back at his wound. A wound like that did not heal easily. he stole a glance at Malacia and his worries were confirmed when he saw her eyes. He sighed quietly. He did not reply and diverted his attention to the newcomer. With great effort, he moved away from Malacia and stood up tall before the peacock. "Prepare yourself to reconsider, bird, we were hungry, and not for whatever rations they might be carrying, but for the rabbit," He grumbled.

Malacia flinched as Anxius admitted what they were planning. "Anxius..." She whispered, pawing at his foot. She was scared. Anxius had to be healed, but he was already trying to alienate the peacock. Malacia pleadingly looked at the peacock, hoping to catch its gaze.

Don't apologize, it's my fault. I'm too picky about my writing, and I just can't keep up with two roleplays at once with how I'm doing it. I don't want to slow anymore people down, my posts are simply taking way too long to come out.

Well I guess I'm out. Having a lot of trouble writing recently, trying to simultaneously write for another roleplay, and this roleplay is moving along a bit too fast for me right now. Really sorry for not adding much at all.

Malacia was seconds from snatching up the rabbit when she realized the wolf was charging directly towards her, a glowing sword in its mouth. She let out another yelp and scrambled out of the way. She put a good few feet of distance between her and the wolf to avoid another surprise attack. She glanced back at the rabbit in frustration, but froze when she saw it happen. She felt her heart almost stop as she saw the rock swords fly out and strike Anxius, one impaling him in the side. "No!" She cried out. Still keeping her distance from the wolf and the rabbit, she began running to Anxius' aid.

Anxius screamed in immense pain as the rock swords struck him. He collapsed heavily on the ground. He groaned and lifted his head to examine his wounds. Most of the swords had missed and only left long scratches on his body, but one had not. The rock sword sank a few inches into his side before splitting apart half way up the blade. He gritted his teeth and reached over, grabbed the protruding sword in his jaws, and with great effort ripped it out of his wound. Instant regret and pain clouded his mind and he let out a muffled scream past the sword. He tossed the broken sword aside and began attempting to stand. He let out a whine and fell back on the ground, every small movement in his torso causing pain. He glanced back at the wound in alarm as he realized it was bleeding much faster than he had expected. He cursed to himself for his stupidity and began attempting to stand again.
