Heavy WIP. Will probably describe everything in a much better way but this is my first draft. Just wondering if I made any errors somwhere.
Name: Larc Mundus Species: Human Age: 16 Gender: Male Appearance: (Picture or description) Rank: Padawan Personality: Padawan’s are often seen as hot-headed, ill-experienced but very driven people. Eager to prove themselves in battle. They often speak out of turn and with a passionate fire that over years get quelled by knowledge, understanding and maturity.
Larc is the exact opposite of this. Silent, calm and withdrawn. He doesn’t like be to be in the spotlight, nor does he like being a vanguard on the front line. Instead he tries to help plan operations and often aids the artillery regiment from behind the front lines. Larc always tries to think clear and logical. Without emotions. However, there is a darker part of him. His master probably knows it. Larc doesn’t take command status well. He has a tendency to freak out when he has to lead a group of clones into battle.
As a person, Larc tries to be as professional and stoic as possible. Greatly driven by the Jedi-code, he may have interpreted it incorrectly. Thinking a Jedi should be emotionless and calculated. However, deep inside a fire still burns. A fire that may radiate a beautiful warmth of compassion and empathy. But Larc fears it. He fears his own emotions and once confronted with emotional situations, he often has no idea how to react. When confronted with someone else’s emotions towards him (For example, if someone told him they loved him) his mind would go haywire.
Abilities: Larc is actually very well versed in the force. Being able to sense it pretty well at a very young age. His Force Push has an exceptional strength for his young age. Further, his telekinesis is exceptionally refined. He can move very small objects (say screws) with extreme precision. His mental abilities (like Force Empathy or Mind Reading) is still pretty weak. Even for a Padawan.
His lightsaber skills on the other hand, are abysmal. He can do the basics like deflecting a few bolts, but complex combo’s are way beyond him.
Bio: Born on the very industrial planet of Kuat, Larc never saw much green or grass. As is tradition, he was found to be force sensitive and taken in by the Jedi Order. Larc, when asked, will often say that he remembers nothing of his young life on Kuat. This is a lie. He remembers very clearly that his mother held him very close to him. He still remembers the warmth coming from her. He still remembers her love.
At the Jedi temple, he was trained by several Jedi Masters. In meditation, normal subjects like math and lightsaber fighting. In the first two, Larc showed pure talent. Being able to recite the mantra of the Jedi to a word after a few weeks only. During the Jedi Temple Apprentice Tournament, Larc came as third. Thanks to his talent in the force. This summoned the interest of a great many Jedi Masters and Knights. Larc succeeded his Iniate Trails with flying colors. Only lacking a little in Lightsaber skills but showing huge promise in the force and straight logical thinking.
Even Grand Master Yoda was there to observe the Iniate Trials. After all, he too trained several of the younglings. It was there that Yoda saw Larc for what Larc was truly becoming. During mediation, Yoda saw that Larc used it not to reflect on his own but instead to suppress memories and emotions. Yoda advised many Jedi Masters and Knights not to take Larc as a Padawan. Knowing that in the future such behavior could only lead to trouble. After a few months, Larc still was Masterless. While he saw how his fellow Padawans each got taken. Larc feared he was not good enough to ever become a Jedi. Which soon lead to an outburst where he pushed a piece of furniture through the window of the Jedi Temple. Yoda soon realized that the boy would not learn by remaining an iniate. He had to learn the power of empathy and how to handle emotions. Thus he assigned him to Vail.
Put a picture or something for his Appearance. Also make sure @Shard is okay with him as Vail's padawan. One thing I did notice is that at one point you described his lightsaber skills as abysmal and the next they were "lacking a little." Not sure what his skill set is there, and if they are abysmal he probably didn't take third place in a tournament. Also not sure Yoda would tell Jedi not to take an apprentice.
If you really want to be an individual Clone yes. It is more encouraged to take a Battalion though. Maybe I'll attach a Commando unit to the Legion that can serve as the individual clones.
I did have this idea. I think I would keep it as half standard infantry, however, so that the battalion still has some non-specialist ground forces at its disposal.
Well I was thinking 177th, but I was going to have 1 company as a Recon Company, so 4 platoons of Scouts. However, I was considering an Airborne Company (basically just jet pack troopers) but I don't know hoe that would work or if it will even be allowed.
You can have something like that. I would be fine with a company of scouts and a company of Jet Troopers. You could call it the 177th Specialized Battalion or something and put other kinds of 'special' infantry in there.
