If you haven't figured it out by now, this is a zombie apocalypse roleplay situated upon a resort island. For your reading enjoyment, the plot synopsis of the roleplay is below:
Your character is a tourist who has decided to go on vacation to Carabo Island for whatever reasons they may have. The island resort feels picturesque as you check in, where the resort employees personally invite you to a late night event later that day. They tell you that there'll be live music, food and drink, but most of all, people to meet, if you so desired. Knowing that you're here to unwind and relax, you decide accept their invitation without much thought. After all, the event does sound like it'd be fun and worthwhile of your time, so why not give it a go?
Unfortunately for you, however, accepting that invitation may have just cost you your life.
If I still have your undivided attention after that little blurb, then great! Allow me to formally welcome you to
REZORT: VACATION FROM HELL. This roleplay will be a semi-linear story that focuses primarily on a small-scale cast (perhaps six or so players total, myself included). Those interested will be required to post on a regular basis, preferably at least a couple paragraphs once per week if possible should real life allow for writing time.
There is no particular preference as to who your character is or can be, but nonetheless there are considerations one must take in first when making a character for this roleplay. Like most resorts, the island isn't particularly cheap, with a stay at Carabo averaging a few thousand per person. In other words, if your character doesn't have a solid amount of wealth saved up somewhere, then in all likelihood they probably won't be able to afford the trip to the island.
Additionally, despite some setting influences, this roleplay will be leaning towards a more realistic approach. Therefore, comedic, meme, and/or joke characters (
*unsheathes katana* edgelords, for instance) will be permanently barred from entering this roleplay. Absolutely do not even try to submit them, they will be purposefully over looked by the GM(s); no exceptions. There are certainly other roleplays out there that those characters can exist in, just not this one in particular.
Should those requirements be acceptable to you, then feel free to sign up and make a character. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, the GM team will gladly answer them as needed.
