Origin: Tamz'Kuna was the eldest daughter and only living child of a fierce orc warlord, whom commanded a traveling warband numbering five hundred; three hundred and seventy of those being professional warriors though none in the group were to be trifled with. The band was one of those which made orc human racial tensions all the higher, raiding peaceful towns, villages and eventually taking a small keep which of course called for great celebration on the part of the orc's. Looting the keep they drank and feasted on the supplies within, awakening in the morning to find a great host outside the walls; lead by King Cassius himself with a number close to a thousand and a half. King Cassius was to give no quarter, the band had harassed his people for long enough and they had called for their heads few amongst the group were innocent and all had shared in the plunder of those defeated. Tamz'Kuna's father wouldn't surrender however, nor would he hole up inside of the stone fortress; before Cassius's siege weapons could be readied the heavy oak drawbridge came steadily crashing down across the shallow moat which surrounded the tall walls. And several hundred battle crazed orcs rushed from the keep, crashing into the center of King Cassius's army, heavily outnumbered they were quickly encircled by the superior force; albeit they fought down to the last child. Including Tamz'Kuna whom was only eleven at the time already standing at five feet and two inches, and already a tough fighter in her own right not that she stood a chance against any real combatants; it was in a melee between her father and King Cassius in which her father lost his life run through the gut with cold steel. The battle at that point had more or less been ended, most of the band lay dead but Tamz' was still alive and angry, as Cassius slayed her father Tamz rushed the King managing to squirm past the two Kingsguard which defended him; a small dagger in hand she managed to drive it slightly into King Cassius from behind. The blade finding a gap in his plate just near the hip, the blade drawing blood and sticking firmly into his side; she quickly found herself knocked unconscious by the armored gauntlet of a Kingsguard.
They were moving to execute the child as no mercy was the call and of course she had attacked the King himself, but Cassius spared her life finding her courage and ability to survive a battle at such a young age admirable. And he took the child with him sparing her life to allow her to work as a servant, and in the King's castle she grew strong and quickly, standing at six foot one by the time she was sixteen. She was unhappy of course to be imprisoned to the people who slaughtered her friends and family, though as she grew she came to understand why it needed to be done; and what kind of man her father was in truth. Considering her rapid growth and adjustment to human custom King.Cassius began to have her trained, his best knights and master-of-arms teaching her to use all manner of weapon; her greatest talent laying with the sword quickly picking up on its use and handling. Able to face three soldiers together by seventeen, fighting in her first battle for Cassius by nineteen in a small skirmish with a rouge lord; as soon as they felled the wall of the treasonous Lord's keep Tamz' Kuna threw herself first roaring with fury into the breach. She killed many men fighting alongside Cassius's own soldiers, her ferocity and skill fast spreading amongst the men whom attended the battle; and so at the conclusion of the fighting King.Cassius knighted Tamz' Kuna. It wasn't until she reached the age of twenty one that she was selected to be one of the Kingsguard, an honor which every knight dreamt of but few ever reached; her actions in saving the King's own son from a stable fire prompting her introduction into the elite guard. Along with her steadily increasing and well renowned skills in combat.
Personality:Tamz'Kuna is an incredibly loyal and mild mannered orc, her upbringing with humans curving some of the more savage tendencies of her people.
Lily gritted her teeth as the outlaws hardly ten feet from her hiding spot beside the occupied building fired heavily in her direction, turning her head away from the porch just in time to see a man with a shotgun approaching the side window in quite a hurry; firing her griswold into the mans chest through the thin dust covered glass. Making for all shots fired out of the revolver, quickly pushing six more rounds individually into their hole in the the cylinder; snapping the revolver back into the locked position drawing the hammer back as she peaked through the window to see a small empty room with a desk. Only the man she shot bleeding on the floor, her revolver's wooden handle knocking the sharp pieces of glass out of the bottom of the frame pulling herself up through the window entirely landing harshly on her elbows and stomach behind a thick mahogany desk. Blood from her last victim pooling around his motionless form, and from her own hands and elbows cut by the glass on the floor; her body rose to a kneeling position as she moved to the section of the wall by the door picking up the unfired double barrel dropped by the bandit. The others seeming to be too busy taking fire from the other pissed off saloon goers to notice Lily's infiltration of their building, allowing her to simply stick the shotgun around the corner of the open door, and pull both triggers firing both barrels full of buckshot into part of the rather large group of attackers.
Killing some with the spread and sending the survivors running into a room adjacent to Lily's, all whilst returning fire with rifles and revolvers; forcing Lily to drop to the ground away from the door a slowly growing stain bleeding through her white shirt above her shoulder. Her legs buckling as she groaned in pain, cracking the shotgun in half after pulling the owners ammo belt off, pushing two shells into the long barreled weapon pulling it back together roughly. Allowing the barrel to rest against her unwounded shoulder the butt down between her mud caked boots, pulling the shoulder of her button up off he bleeding spot; the wound a grazing blow but still considerable around a half inch deep cut. Thanks to the other's firing into the building the bandits didn't simply rush her when she ceased firing, though she heard them scurrying around to reposition less firing out the windows than before as they focused on the intruder.
Lily cut her sleeve off smoothly with the sheath knife she carried, dropping it smoothly back into its leather holster tying the thin cotton fabric in a twisted wad like strip around her shoulder under her armpit; pulling it tight with her teeth and fingers. Pulling the shotgun back down across her lap, sticking it around the corner of the door, quickly reversing that decision from the hail of gunfire which nearly took her hands and arms. Almost dropping the gun entirely spitting out a loud string of curses as she waited for a break, standing back up and closing her eyes she burst through the doorway not even looking towards the shooters as she dove down the short hallway the room occupied. A matching corridor occupying the other side of the room with a large open space filled with desks and type writers between them, with a bullet riddled front wall its many windows shattered to pieces and stained in blood and gore; the room already owning several corpses.
Sorry for my clear absence, school and shit really caught up with me this week and will continue to do that until this Saturday :( But if I'm lucky, I might be able to get a post up tonight. If not, I'll be back during the weekend, and you can have fun posting and shooting each other in the mean-time :P
My thought of the bandit-attack was more along the lines of them just wanting to show dominance, but the clear resistance they're facing works if we plan to follow them and fuck some shit up ^^
Lady.Rhaenyes Rahareon rode in the front of the caravan with the other templars, having earned the title of Grand Templar some time ago when she was but a young girl not that she actually followed most of their annoying ideological prattle, riding atop a beautifully stout black stallion with a sleek coat; contrasting against her bright white surface hardened steel plate trimmed with gold. The leg sections scale entirely as opposed to actual plate, shifting with each move the horse made, two hooks on the front of her breast plate held a long crimson red cloak onto her back flowing just down over her horse occasionally rising with the wind though the weight of the fabric kept it from flying about. She forewent her lions head helm while riding, preferring the comfort and ease of visibility of not wearing the steel feeling that it was unnecessary with a group the size of the one they currently were in, made up of several trained templars and magi. Not to mention her, the rich prodigy child of old Lord.Rahareon the richest lord the world over thanks to the plentiful supply of gold and iron ore on their house's ancestral land; leading her house to funding many of the Empire's wars and the orders expeditions. A sly smile cut into her sharp and well defined facial features, looking as if it could actually cut a man the same as the glittering longsword sheathed on her right hip, the mithril work the finest in all the land its edge cutting far greater than steel while remaining half the weight. Her silver hair almost matched the swords tone, and flowed elegantly past her shoulders truly tying together her regal and noble appearance, something that oft irk'd people about Rhaenyes they hated seeing their betters she had always reasoned. And she was better in sword, tongue, wealth, love, challenging anyone to say otherwise at the point of her blade.
Though for this she would have to try and get along with those around her, sent with the oddly arrayed group like the other templars present to oversee the magi and keep things from going awry in anyway; she knew all of the templars around her whether through repute or brief meetings in the past. And clearly they knew her, along with everyone and their mother, for she was hard to miss at six feet tall in her armor of white and gold. Her eyes wandered from the road, her horse knowing well enough how to walk without her constant attention gazing instead at each of her companions and the carvan car holding the others; thinking to herself how each of them looked on first glance a good measure of people in her mind was their initial appearance before they could retreat into deceit.
Predisposition to the Magi:Rhaenyes has no opinion about the magi as a whole, having been helped and hurt by them same as non-magi.
Personality:Rhaenyes was always a skilled learner of the blade killing her first man in an actual battle at fifteen while observing with her lord father, her guard struck down by the knight she ended up besting; cutting his head clean from his body with a dueling broadsword. Since then her father brought the greatest knights and most skilled warriors from around the world to hone her skills, their House being quite wealthy as their land contained large gold and iron mines. This has lead Rhaenyes to often be snarky and overconfident in herself, her determination admirable along with her skills and great beauty; which has often resulted in many people disliking her in the past.
Notes: -Mithril dueling longsword, 3'4 and 2" across
@Vas Khaleen I like her. Move her over and post in IC as you wish :)
She's probably a Grand Templar so she knows by name/rank/stories most of the non-magi characters. Gun'tar she probably knows well. Being the oldest Templar in the whole Empire.
I think you can start as she simply followed the caravan on horse with an escort that injected her with the bomb and then left.
The bomb? I'm sorry its late and i think i may have missed something.
@Wick You know ? @Vas Khaleen's vision of Gargantu race is not far from the truth. The thing is that the race is 70% my original creation. Think troll x Qunari x something that I've invented. They are not made of stone but their skin is as thick as it and can have it's color. The race itself is a big *tank* ( think it in game terms ). Big , bulky , not so intelligent ( more than 80% of their race is considered not sentient ). They are living fighting machines. Hmm...you can also think them as the Krogan race from Mass Effect ( I just realized that the Krogan race is close to what I imagined when I thougth about the race ). @King Tai's character is an unfortunate Gargantu. He lived more than half of his life in a cage.
If any more questions come in anyones head. Please ask :)
Also : @Vas Khaleen Thank you for checking this out :)
NP i posted my sheet and all, anything i need to change?
Gargantu's? Are they made of stone? Guntar appears to be stone but King Tai's version doesn't appear to be. What is the verdict.
When I googled Gargantu I got a pub, a ginormous 800lb plus cartoon woman in a bikini. (Remember that I can not unsee this) A large hairless ape-like creature running for cover among several other somewhat disturbing pics. I also got a definition from the urban dictionary that was both hilarious and could be construed as upsetting to the LGBT community. Please help me to understand what your character is.
