Bio
Hi I'm Vey, love to write and do casual to advanced RP. Mature enough for adult topics and also a bilingual of Indonesian and English.
I live around UTC+7 with no DST zone, that would be around 10-14 hours difference with y'all folks around the US. I'll be spending my time for creative writing and immediate responses around 8-11 PM local time, except for weekends in which I would likely press the refresh button expecting replies in real time, lol.
I do RPs for my escapism, so if there's any indication of your RP being an allusion to the currently debated real world issues, I'll be off immediately without even bother to tell you.
Also, I've dealt with toxic people in real life, so if you want to express your toxicity toward my character despite being supposed to be a partner in a group RP, I'll immediately assume that you are another toxic person IRL cowardly hiding in the mask of fictional character, even when it's supposed to be an in-character expression. Please get help, and get functional.
Also, if you godmode my character, I'll godmode your worldbuilding
I did some edits for my character I posted in Characters
Some things has "Base" and "Experimental" or "aspiring" for possible "upgrade tree"; I'm adapting my character both for stories featuring character growth (with her base set) or stories exploiting all her possible abilities (with all set applied)
Might gonna augment and refine the textual descriptions for her personality and appearance later.
Name: Kim Su-Cheong (surname-firstname format) Age: 26 Nationality: Korean ancestry from both parents, born and naturalized in the US Callsign: "Dollface"
Appearance:
Su-Cheong's most distinguishable feature is, obviously, the skeletal bones that makes her Asian feature prominent in her visage. Born with naturally pale skin, her dark-brown eyes contrast her facial look, along with her black-colored back-length hair. She's quite tall among her kind, but her height is a little below average among the military personnel of the unit where she's enlisted. Still, she maintains her slim proportion for her weight with her mesomorphic hourglass figure. Although her feminine physical features are noticeable, Su-Cheong keeps them manageable for her missions, resulting her to carefully control the exercise regimens she regularly takes.
Su-Cheong's choice for her military equipment is very practical; a humble mid-21st century camouflaged standard helmet and body armor, with packed kits in her backpack, along with the ammunition pockets on her armor and belt extensions. However, beneath her field dress, Su-Cheong usually wears her skintight body-fitting black-colored infiltration suit, issued by Raven Armory. If the nature of her mission changes mid-operation, she's able to quickly switch her equipment profile from reconnaissance to infiltration.
Out-of-mission, one will frequently see Su-Cheong in her sport-casual attire of crop-top and track pants pairings. This will always expose her midriff, along with the scars she got from her history, visible only to the attentive beholders. Sneakers are her favorite footwear as they make everything easier for Su-Cheong to be constantly active. It is as if she never likes to go more formal than her current style that Su-Cheong even keeps no gown in her wardrobe in case someone invited her for a dinner, or even a date.
Skills: Commando - Just as Su-Cheong finished her basic training course and ready to be assigned into a standard unit, a profiler from the military noticed her peculiar psychological characteristics. The military immediately discharged her from the unit and immediately inducted her for the Raven Program. She was given a training regimen for special force skillset, including precise shooting, extended reconnaissance, surgical infiltration, demolition, and unconventional warfare.
- Sharpshooting - Currently liking so much using bolt-action rifles with 95% accuracy for 1000m range; aspiring to gain: ---supreme-steady hand for cocking sequence ---magician-hand speed for reloading sequence ---the same accuracy level for semi-auto rifles (currently 80% for 800m range)
- Close Quarter Combat - Familiar with modern MMA in various standing and ground techniques; aspiring to gain proficiency in: ---multi-opponent fighting ---melee weapon disarming ---gun disarming
- Mountaineering/Survival - Proven 1-week survival and navigation in forest, wetland, desert, and arctic environment; aspiring to gain proficiency in: ---environmental camouflage ---1-month survival/extended reconnaissance ---zero-equipment survival/prison escape scenario
- Aquatic Infiltration - Able to do boat-based infiltration for brown-water missions; aspiring to gain proficiency in: ---scuba diving ---long distance swimming
- Aerial Infiltration - Able to do helicopter rappelling; aspiring to gain proficiency in parachuting
- Land Vehicle Use - Favored off-road motorcycles for solo reconnaissance; aspiring to gain proficiency in other off-road vehicles
- Demolition - Standard asset denial and gate-breaking procedures; aspiring to gain proficiency in: ---booby trap crafting ---IED crafting
Streetwise - Having her history of being kidnapped and living among the criminals, Su-Cheong was pushed to her extreme in order to survive the ordeals. She has some practical experience of managing business in the crime world, along with book-keeping to the extent that she can memorize the details of many things that she can use to give leverage in what she wants from people. In some occasions, she also had to proof her high PE score during her schoolyear to be able to escape from dire situation, often including alley-slipping and acrobatic jumps from building to building.
- Disguise, persuasion, and seduction - Able to mimic high-class or exotic civilian clothing and lifestyle for espionage purpose; aspiring to gain proficiency in: ---military disguise ---lockpicking and safe-breaking
- Urban free-running/Parkour - Able to utilize gymnastics and athletics based skill for tactical purposes; aspiring to gain proficiency in disaster survival for urban environment.
Computer-like Brain - Long before her life changed, Su-Cheong was a prodigy during her schoolyear and had her dream to further her study in Economics. She passed the selection process and ready to start her study in Stanford, just before she was kidnapped and had to live among the underworld denizens. Regardless, she still retains her mathematical talent when she was enlisted into the military and was still able to perform a long sequence of complex calculation in her brain. This is proven useful every time she serves as a fire-support specialist; her precise calculation helps the artillery or airstrike operators to effectively hit their targets. On another occasion, given enough information and taking probability into equation, Su-Cheong was able to simulate an operation in her brain and predict the outcome. The profiler from Raven program routinely gave Su-Cheong some sampled mission briefings from the past operations, which she was ordered to predict the outcome. Su-Cheong managed to have 85% accuracy in her prediction, to the detail whether the contingency plans were applied or not.
Polyglot - Coming from Korean ancestry in America, Su-Cheong managed to have proficiency in both Korean and English, with addition for French and Spanish she studied during school year. Throughout her life, she expanded her language ability in Japanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin during her time with the criminals. Her supervisor tasked her to learn Russian during her time enlisted in the military.
Dancing - During her time being among the criminals, Su-Cheong's boss always asked her to entertain him privately with her dancing in front of him. The boss quickly got bored with her lack of grace so he invited an instructor to teach Su-Cheong instead, ranging from the common ones like hip-hop to more exotic ones like pole and even belly dancing. The skills she gained from this also proved beneficial when she needed to persuade or seduce someone. Out of any functional context, Su-Cheong will casually perform her dance just to keep her mind occupied and her muscles gracefully toned.
History: Once a victim of human trafficking, Su-Cheong got herself kidnapped when she was on a vacation. She was there with her friends to celebrate her passing of university entrance exam, but instead got sold into prostitution. A buyer took interest in her and found that she was smart enough to be included in his crime business. That was the time when Su-Cheong got herself introduced with firearms, thievery, disguise, and subterfuge. The crime boss often wanted Su-Cheong to entertain him with exotic belly dancing, granting herself another asset in her seduction skill. She had always been introduced as their bookkeeper and did some accounting for the crime business too. Su-Cheong's situation slowly gave her the edge if she ever wanted to demand something from the crime family.
At one occasion, Su-Cheong felt that she had enough with her life among the criminals. Her time came when she heard about the succession crisis over the death of the Family Head. Su-Cheong contacted the federal police and revealed their sources of illegal income. As her reward, Su-Cheong was granted for protection and name clearing. She would be able to live as a normal citizen with all her legal rights after this.
As the gang war ensued among the succession claimers, the police came to wipe out the criminal organization and apprehended the remaining members. Su-Cheong pretended to help the criminals, but she was actually supporting the police to fish out the remaining members from their hiding places. Of course, this was not without repercussion. The police's assurance of Su-Cheong's safety was not without weakness. A faction among the gang member managed to catch Su-Cheong and tortured her. Thankfully, the police managed to bring her back into safety, but the pain traumatized Su-Cheong and the scars she got from the torture still remained.
Having herself returning to the society did not instantly make Su-Cheong's life better. She only knew how to hurt and deceive people. Su-Cheong then enlisted herself to serve the military. Her exceptional result in her aptitude and intelligence tests, along with her skill in shooting and physical exercises drew attention of the brass involved in the Raven program. Of course, they also noticed Su-Cheong's alarming result in her psychological profiling; one more reason they might find her useful in the program and rather dangerous if being put in the standard infantry batch. This was when Su-Cheong got her alias "Dollface" when an officer noticed her unusual feature among the candidates of the Raven program.
Personality: Su-Cheong is one among those who value new things and adapt themselves to changes. Authority can never restrain her effectively, only for her to eventually break free in a subtle way. She will only follow, or rather cooperate, with someone who manages to gain her trust and respect; with her high level of confidence, judgmental criticism, and quick learning capability, this is quite a rare case. She knows how to keep things organized, but Su-Cheong's experience brings her to see the timetables and plans as malleable things. In many situations, Su-Cheong prefers to work by herself, either to keep her stream of thoughts undisturbed or to keep people from knowing her occasional breakdown caused by her trauma. It has ever been reported that Su-Cheong killed her comrade when the tension got too high and the pressure for survival was heavy.
Su-Cheong once took some months for her therapy. Having been kidnapped and living with the criminals, then eventually ending it with them torturing Su-Cheong really took a toll for her mental sanity. Su-Cheong keeps having recurring dream of her torture sessions with the people who once worked with the her. The grave wound they made around her abdomen left some scars which are still noticeable. The way Su-Cheong always having her attire exposing the scars on her belly when she's off-mission is her way to cope with the traumatic history. Her attempt to accept her past as a part of her growing self has yet to show its positive result.
Big Five --Openness: Inventive --Conscientiousness: Middle-ground between being organized and careless --Extraversion: Solitary --Agreeableness: Critical --Neuroticism: Confident MBTI: INTJ Dark Triad: Machiavellianism & Psychopathy
Tactical Suit:
- Standard Infantry Issue Camouflaged Helmet & Body Armor - Infiltration suit, skintight body-fit worn beneath the field dress on touch with her skin, with features: -- Vital monitoring -- Body moisture & temperature balancing -- Durable low-friction material <<No pics for her infiltration suit alright, I'm keeping this non-18+, allow the imagination to take place>>
Equipment: - Micro-grenades (smoke, flashbang, high-explosive), each eyeball-sized, carried 6 in total - Scoped rangefinder - Explosive micro-device, anti-asset, time-controlled - Multi-channel goggle (NV + thermal) - Aerial remote-controlled camera drone - Military Issued Smartphone [including GPS locator and all modern functionality], with portable charger - Standard Issue 1-week survival kit - (Optional for solo mission) Off-road motorcycle, electric-powered, with solar power recharger
@FourtyTwo Skill tree? I'll modify some of the details in her skills and equipment then;
About the specific weaponry, my idea is that the character doesn't have any certain favoritism, so whatever the guys in the Quartermaster (Q Branch, Raven Arsenal, whatever it's name) gonna give her with any experimental things, she can go with it.
Oh right, I haven't give her the explosive charge and disguise kit in her equipment
