Current You've heard of BBW and BBQ, but have you heard of BMW? Neither have I, they never signal their turn.

Bio

Thank you for visiting my biography.

I am just a typical Aussie Young Adult juggling social life and work at the same time.

I have not roleplayed in years. I thought maybe I'll re-login once in a while and see how the Guild is going.

I have lost touch with the friends that I've made while I was a resident here. Those of you who were my friends, know that I enjoyed my time roleplaying with you and I hope that it is mutual.

I hope to see you in another life.

The carriage once again was on the move towards Faulknorse, this time uneventfully. As the carriage draws close to its gates, more hustle and bustle begins to fill the atmosphere. Children running, citizens chatting and gossipping and merchants carrying their own carriages and goods. The town guards were nowhere in sight, besides the gate warden that promptly shuts the gate closed behind them. "Alright folks! Welcome to Faulknorse! The greatest town across all of Faerun." The carriage comes to a stop, ol' Dyllon makes his quick way to the stables and returned with papers stuffed inside of his waist bag. He made his way towards the six adventurers there. "Ye folks were darn helpful back there. Here, for all yer work today." He tosses the gnome a gold coin bag, containing 600 gold pieces.

Quest Completed!

-To Faulknorse- EXP Reward: 600 divided among 6 : 100 EXP to each Character (your total is 133).

"me'll see ye 'round town. Got business to do. Ye six should head to the Yoso Tavern around this district. Popular for travellers." So then he takes off towards the direction of the town square as everyone else begins to scatter.

not an issue... what i am trying to point out is that we should all endeavor to become more active.. at least try to post three times a day in character rather the one if we are lucky... I understand people get busy but come now.... we could all try harder..

I still haven't awarded you guys Quest Reward for the Scouting.
@VKAlleni think we are still in a tutorial stage and therefor like any tutorial we have to finish it to experience the real game.. as a reward for completion most games will give you the first or so level/s ... and with that i will be satisfied as our first level should be the easiest to attain and never takes long.. of course being a turn based multi player game where the players take long periods to become active, this will still presumably take time.. and some may become impatient.. if it takes this long and more to get level 2 than level 20 will be an absolute Nightmare.. (And i am not talking about the mount...)

Unfortunately I will stick by the Guide at this stage-- Regardless whether or not this was Tutorial or Main Quest.
@VKAllenI am not advocating Saff right now but i can't help but notice you failed to actually answer her question... She did not ask why she did not get the total exp undivided but why we did not get the total exp undivided.. as in every member receiving 200 exp being the undivided total.. again i am not advocating Saff and did not take issue with the current system but in the future I ask that you try to answer the question that was asked so to resolve an issue sooner..

(Saff would not have left this alone with an answer like that.. That is why it is important to give the information that was asked for specifically and not information that is irrelevant to their issue..)

Very well. The explanation is this; you are a party of six, therefore any accumulated EXP is divided among the party members, just like an MMORPG would. This is the system that should be self-explanatory.

Quote from the Bible of DnD, the Dungeon Master's Guide:

When adventurers defeat one or more monsters-typically by killing, routing, or capturing them-they divide the total XP value of the monsters evenly amongst themselves. If the party received substantial assistance from one or more NPCs, count those NPCS as party members when dividing up the XP.
[quote=@Saffirra Dusk]
---------End of Battle---------

XP Awarded:

4 Bandits killed: 100 XP
1 Bandit Leader killed: 100 XP

Total: 200 XP divided by 6 which is 33 XP to each member of the party.

--------------------------

Okay, I don't mean to be a bother... but why does the XP have to be divided between players?? Why not just let everyone have 200 XP like in every other D&D system???

Because the kill XP would otherwise go to the killer. Since you ar ea six party, it's only sensible that you gain EXP as per divided.
I am 20 years old.. however this is a faceless website so any details I give regarding myself in IRL are questionable...

+1 that.
You could be a potato. A sentient one.
I'm twenty and forty. You decide which is which.

Totally like me.
Mwahahahaha!! YES!!!

It is what you get for playing a gnome mage! Forever being seen as Makarov! lol

Gnome mages are among the most powerful.

I just spent the last hour and a half packing a large bag, a bag that will be containing all my worldly possessions. Tomorrow morning I'm going to be grabbing a bike and heading South, then North once I reach a major road.

Tomorrow I'm going to be homeless. And obviously without internet.

...

...

...

Fuck.

Welp, not much more to say on the matter. I don't want to say I'm dropping out, because any chance I get I'm going online, but I may not have access to internet for weeks depending on how long my journey takes.
Hell I might even die. I don't intend to of course, I intend to live, I intend to fight anything in my way, but bloody hell.

If I do somehow die though I'll make sure to haunt VKAllen for a bit and get him to tell you if I actually died. Otherwise, if you've anything you want to say or ask of me than you've got about nineteen hours before I leave.

Well shite. Okay I will NPC you a bit until then. Hope things doesn't go North with your plan.
clerics are OP however i have always avoided them cause i do not heal... I refuse.. having to make sure five or more people stay alive is way too much.. people who do it are amazing! but no... =_=

Clerics are only there for damage control.

Funny term, 'damage control'.

Lol.

Anyway, can you ask your friend to roll her stats. She (presumably) wants to be a Moon Elf?
@VKAllen I am not assuming anything. She is free to leave but doing so kind of makes having as part of the RP pointless. I have no way of convincing her to stay so I am not going to try. Once a few more people post I will have the first attack.

That first attack could be an avenue.

I will judge for myself anyway. I didn't join just so that I could leave (?).
