Maki Caper
Possibly the youngest member of the Caper family, Maki wasn't one to go out to the bars, she is a very conservative girl who has a serious condition in her blood. This condition is called the Hunters Curse, which had been passed down to her by the genes of her mother and father. She didn't ask for all of this to happen to her, she only chooses to accept that she's a vampire, as her world is full of black and white. She doesn't experience anything such as love, all she wants to do is make others around her happy with a smile on their face. She slowly got out from her bed, panting a little due to the side effects from the curse that makes her weak, with that mixed into a kind personality she is very clumsy around the mansion.
Maki took a quick look around her room before giving off a small smile, she was happy to be living and be in a safe home, where she could be taken care of. She had no idea why she become a vampire though, she was just turned in an instant, no consent from Maki at all. She put on a warm coat before walking outside her room, walking down the hallway for what to do.
"I could always go out and get a milkshake... but a maid would have to come with me though." Maki questioned herself on what to do, she would like to get a milkshake from a nearby cafe, she liked the cafes better than the bars to be honest.
Maki walked down the stairs towards the door, with two maids standing at the door ready to open it.
"Miss Caper, are you going outside?" The two maids said in unison, Maki nodded with a smile on her face shyly as a maid coming from the left was seen.
"I will accompany you, my lord." The maid had said to Maki, she smiled at her kindly, wanting to give a hug to the maid. She noticed the doors opening, seeing the array of darkness that was outside of her home. Her hand had then been grabbed by the maid, she looked up at her still smiling.
"Thank you." Maki said as the two of them walked outside the mansion, the doors closing on the both of them.
Maki was referred to as a lord, due to her mother not being at home 90% of the time. She never had any siblings, but what she knew was that she was saved by her mother from something terrible. That's what her mother told her anyways. As they walked down the cold street, Maki squeezed a little more on the maids hand as she smelled blood.
"Is someone hurt?" Maki quietly said, but then she shook her head as she loosened her grip on the maids hand, continuing to head down the street. Maki looked around all of the buildings, seeing dulled lights all around herself.
I'm hoping that they could smile just like me one day.
