@Pv and Drummer: If there's going to be a scene where another player is going to harm another player, you two should PM each other about it first.

The reason why I haven't posted is because I'm lacking inspiration at the moment.

Wayne, you said that there's no actual outbreak in the airport, correct? Does that mean you aren't planning on having the infected wander in at any point?

The infected won't wander inside the airport itself if the military still has order. Don't know if the military is going to keep its order or not, though.
Did you mean to post that in the IC?

I need to go to bed now, so good night, and I'll answer your inquiries tomorrow.
@Kilune: That's what I figured.
I'm back from Invermere, but I'll be waiting on Beo to make that post he said he was going to do.
Back home from my weekend in Invermere.

I want to say you're all doing really well with what little info I've given. I've wanted to see how well people could do with nothing more than the info I've given, so that I don't have to dictate things too much. However, I've been worrying a bit about how this RP's going to fare, so I'd like to ask just one thing of you all. As GM, I'm not just a referee. If you need or simply just want anything, I'm your go-to guy, and I also want you guys to post in this thread and contact me and other players every now and then. I want to keep things lively here.

@DarkRecon: It's all just for rough reference. You don't need to follow it like it'll kill you if you don't. Just do whatever seems to be the most reasonable. I'm willing to help you with keeping track of your character's location too, and I'll be adding Griffith Observatory to the map.

@shivershiver: No worries. Lone-wolfing it might actually be better, since you would have all the freedom to play around with your character's surroundings without having to worry about waiting on another player. Your sense of location and how you describe what's around your character is great, and you don't need to worry too much about that frame of reference I gave if it's going to hinder your writing.

@Everyone at LAX: I want to be laid-back with this RP, and I don't want to dictate what players do too much. If anarchy is wanted, there shall be anarchy. Let the chaos commence.
I'm trying to think of what to post, but I'm having a total brainfart. What could Thomas be finding in the forest? I remember there being some special item, so I'll try and look for references to that.

Though in my defense, I was doing some intense cross-country skiing today, I'm still aching like crazy, and I have to worry about making sure the potatoes in the oven don't burn either.
DarkRecon, remember to use Google Maps if you're not sure which route your character is going to take. Use it for looking up directions, locations, and photos. Remember, use the link for Google Maps, not the RP map.

Looking it up myself, it'd take about 30-60 minutes to drive there and about 5 hours to walk there in normal conditions. Considering the outbreak and chaos in LA, multiply that by 2, so about 1-2 hours by car and 10 hours walking.

Don't zip through it, because if you do, I'm not going to let you RP here any more. I want people here to take time to get a feel for the LA area. For reference, try to imagine that 1-5 minutes elapse between each post, so if you REALLY want to go all the way to LA International, that'd be about 12-24 posts minimum by driving and 120 posts walking.

Chances are, you don't want to waste that many posts on just getting there, so I'd recommend going off that course and going around different parts of LA. There's already enough people at LA International, and I can look stuff up for everyone if they don't feel like doing that work themselves.
I've got access to my brother's computer, but it's limited. He needs it too.
How the woman handled Thomas's behaviour startled him. Normally, people were scared of him, but now in this case, he was the scared one. It was like this woman was a throwback to how Thomas's teachers back when he was still in school. It was like a double whammy with that and his dead girlfriend coming back to haunt him. Thomas wanted to get back up and strike at the woman, but she was bigger than him. He was helpless, and knew that she had all the freedom wherever the hell they were to kill him on the spot.

Thomas got back up on his feet, and remembered something. The tarot cards. He checked his pocket, and there was a card in it. A depiction of the Devil, goat horns and hooves, with a shackled man and woman. The shackles looked like they were fitted very loosely, as if the couple could take them off if they wanted to. It felt to Thomas like a metaphor for his life. How it's all his fault that he ended up with his unfortunate situation in life, and how he was probably being punished for his misdeeds. It was amazing how his first time back in a shop, and indeed his first time in a fortune teller's shop, would end up like this.

Thomas then looked up at the woman. Perhaps he had to trust her? Plus, he didn't catch up on all that the announcer said, knowing his little outburst of anger. Perhaps he needed a recap on the situation.

"What's going on? How do I know if you're not going to kill me?"

Then he looked at his hands. They clearly needed a wash.
