I'm working on getting the OOC up now. Does anybody have a particular preference for the setting? I'd like things to be confined to one city. Should we go the traditional route and have things in Japan, or place things somewhere else?

Also the patron module confused me. I rolled lesser force but was stumped by how to do the benefits/drawbacks part, kind of want to randomize but its not really set up that way.
Right, the stats are decided by the rest of your rolls plus your coins. For the benefits and drawbacks, those are meant to be by choice so if you want to randomize them you'll have to make up a way to do that.
@IceHeart For the stats, you start with a 4 in each on while transformed, 2 in each while not. A lot of the options give bonuses to you stats, and some of them have the marking that means they apply to your character while not transformed. If you don't use your coins on the options, you can use them to directly increase your stats. Since this is a freeform RP, not a tabletop, the stats are going to act more like guidelines than actual stats.
@Western Robot Are ya gonna have a certain minimum posting limit for this RP?
Though whether i am able to join or not, i rolled an OC anyways just for the fun of it. However, i feel like i rolled Homura Akemi. Ironic. Albeit, i used all my coins but the gold one in the process. XD
I wasn't planning on any set minimum, just let everyone know if you're not going to be able to post for a while.

...as much as I dislike dice rolls of any kind, Making a character based on random rolls could be fun. We'll see how this goes.
There won't be any rolls in the actual RP, just for the character creation. Plus, one of the origin options lets you pick everything instead of rolling.

Shin sighed. Speaking to Alexei was always tiring.
"Not yet. The child I escorted in was particularly uninspiring. Augmenters rarely have anything unique up their sleeves. Are any of the new students Wavecasters? I suppose I'll be set to mentoring them if they are."
Shin was tired of Wavecasters. It was Wavecasters that he had just graduated, and Wavecasters before him. Why couldn't he be Mentor to a unique Alternative, or a crafty Architect? The head staff had said something about "giving you the ones you could actually help instead of trying to dissect," but Shin knew they were just biased against his research. Shinichi Saito
The conversations were proceeding around Shinichi. He had been ignored, but that was alright with him. It was only the first day, there would be time for longer introductions later. For the moment, he decided to just listen to the others talk.
He only got a moment of peace before the sky fell. A shower of leaves came down right next to him, followed by a what looked like a boy. Shinichi immediately ducked and covered his head with his hands. The boy said something, but Shinichi couldn't hear.
"What the heck," Shinichi said as he stood back up. Before anyone could answer, Shinichi saw the girl with the bat throwing a punch at the huge guy. Shinichi promptly ducked and covered again. He didn't know how to fight, so if one was breaking out he would be vulnerable. His thoughts went back to the feeling of a knife piercing his stomach. This was a school meeting, it was supposed to be safe!
I have to say, this is quite ridiculous in scope. But for some odd reason, I am interested...
I have no idea why that is. Magical girl anime is awesome though that's probably why.
Yeah, the CYOA has a wide scope, but the RP would have a narrower focus. I was thinking it would be about the magical girls in one city.
