That's awful to hear. As someone who suffers from depression (which is totally not comparable to abuse) I'm a very bright and cheery person on the outside. And even when I just wanna wallow, I do my absolute best to stay positive and think positive. So I can definitely relate to Charity on that spectrum (and like her even more because of it).
While I advocate getting medicated to help treat mental illness symptoms, I'm a firm believer that laughter can do a whole world of good in dark times.
(But like, on a writer's note: who the hell has any right to tell anyone how to play their character when it's not breaking the rules of the game? Pfffffff)
I really really love how diverse the cast is in terms of personality and abilities tho. (Even if I'm not helping on the diverse racial feature front ahaha *sweats* I got another white boy coming in hot WOOPS)
