I feel like Max is a bit of an empath as well but only to those he is relatively close to like Grim and Leo and would try to calm either of the two down before entering his own anxiety breakdown.

Grim watched Violet walk away a bit as curiosity filled Grim's mind. Max ended up slightly burying his face into Grim's chest which shifted Grim's attention from Violet to Max.
@Jasper19 I love to imagine Grim being a person to try to calm Max or Leo down whenever he senses that one of them is about to have a breakdown now.
Max noticed Violet's wince and immediately started speaking trying to calm both her and himself down, "Hey it's okay, I've never harmed anyone during the insanity bits. Grim most of the time keeps me calm during these and has me hidden in a corner... sometimes I do hear these odd voices of my family even when I'm not having an insanity bit..." Grim gently pulled Max closer to him and sighed softly.
@Jasper19 that's valid. Plus they'd probably get to know each other pretty well since Grim and Max have also been in the asylum for a while.
Max nodded gently. "I'm fine. I just have these moments of sudden anxiety or sudden depression... or sudden insanity..." Max said. His voice wavered oddly at the end of his statement.
Grim smiled softly and ruffled Max's hair. "Max, worrying about someone who isn't himself or me? Who are you and what have you done with my anxious boyfriend?" Max chuckled slightly before speaking to Leo, "I was Grim near her and you know as well as I do that Grim is the main empath of the asylum."
Max let off a noise of worry and grabbed Violet's arm suddenly. Despite the fact that he flinched when she hugged him, he seemed a bit concerned.
@Jasper19 also I love how we pretty much just made Grim and Leo be buddies in the role play universe. That's just really funny to me.
@Jasper19 hey Max's bio flat out says that he has had multiple suicide attempts. I don't think a cap is needed in his dark things get here.
