Yavanna seemed to curl up into his chest. Breathing in his scent and feeling comfort of being in his arms. She didn't let him go...there was silence..only the last few battle sounds from a-far. She softly squeezed him; it was a loving gesture. "Thank you." she said softly. She had no idea, what she was thanking him for. Maybe for saving her life again...or just simply, being in her life. But she had no idea, what she would do without him. Moving her head softly; she looked at him with soft green eyes; just making sure that he was not hurt in any way. Her eyes still filled with the tenderness, love and affection she felt for him.

As Kili sat near his brother's body...he looked broken. His best-friend was truly gone. "Come on Fili...please come back." Kili whimpered.

Meanwhile,
Bilbo found Thorin laying down on near a rock. Running to him, the Hobbit leaned by the Dwarf. "Bilbo." Thorin breathed out. "Shh...lay still...you're gonna be okay." Bilbo whispered, trying to keep Thorin calm..,but winced at the wound.
"I am glad you're here." Thorin told the Hobbit. "I wish to part from you with Friendship."
Bilbo shook his head "You're not going anywhere..you're going to live."
"I take back what I said..You did what a true friend would do. Forgive me." Thorin choked out. "Te....tell Yavanna and Saeril...I am...sorry. Tell the...tell the young girl...to be happy. She...has...a good man.." Thorin gasped out. "I am so sorry...I was too blind to see it all...That I led you all to such Peril." Thorin coughed...struggling to breathe.
Bilbo kept by his side. "You can tell them, yourself." Bilbo wasn't going to give up on Thorin. "I am glad to have shared in your Perils...each and every one of them." he said, holding onto his hand, to give him some comfort. "It's far more than any Baggins deserves."
"Farewell Master Burglar, go back to your books, and your armchair. Plant your trees...watch them grow." Thorin choked out. "If more people valued love over Gold...this world would be a merrier place." He let out a choked gasp. "Tell the others...I send...my...love." his breathing was getting more shallow.
"No...No...Thorin no." Bilbo gasped out, knowing he was loosing him. "No...don't you dare, Thorin." he could hear Thorin's breath slow down...until no more sound came from the Dwarf.
Leaning over by his head.Bilbo patted his chest as if to help him "Stay with me...the Eagles...the Eagles are coming...Thorin.." But it was too late, Thorin Okaenshield was gone. Bilbo covered his mouth, letting out a choke sob...as he broke into tears.
Her fall was broke, with the strong, warm protective arms of Legolas. She was very lightweight...so nothing crumbled beneath them. Yavanna let out a slight gasp...her arms wrapping around him; almost scared to let him go. Despite her weakness...she managed to hold onto him. As she leaned her forehead against his shoulder. "Bolg...he's here somewhere..." she breathed out; not knowing the Orc was already dead.
As Thorin saw the Orcist, in the chest of the Orc. He reached for it...holding onto the handle...as the dead creature fell down. The sword in his hand. Seeing Azog near by..it was just him and the Defiler. He made his way towards Azog. It's your turn to die. He thought to himself. He was going to get Azog for what he done to Fili.

The Defiler began to swing his weapon at the Dwarf. Ducking and spinning out of the way. Thorin managed to hit the Orc's arm with his sword. As Azog swung again with the heavy weapon...the ice began to crack a little beneath their feet. And so Azog kept swinging his weapon...hitting the ground. Going around a circle...once Thorin fell down...he was rolling out of the way. The sword as his only defense.

The circle of ice began to float ontop of the icy water. Azog's weapon seemed to be stuck. Thorin shifted himself backwards carefully and picked up the weapon. Tossing it at the Orc...under the weight...Azog fell back and into the cold water. Thorin watched the giant orc...under the water...as he seemed to be floating. Drowning. Following him, he saw Azog's eye close. Thorin smirked to himself. The Defiler was dead. Just then he felt a piercing pain in his foot...causing him to scream out.

Azog's eyes snapped open...having stabbed Thorin's foot with his sword. Before smashing through ice...and stabbing Thorin in the gut. The Dwarf gasped in pain...grabbing the Orc's hand...he withdrew the sword within himself....weakly. With his Orcist...he impaled the Orc.....with last of his strength. Azog fell back...taking his last few breaths. Thorin's Sword...pierced through the ice as it pierced through the other side of Azog.

As Eagles began to slowly come...Thorin fell back..gasping for a breath. As he was bleeding to death.

Tauriel tried to find a way down to Yavanna. So she could help and protect her, if more Orcs came. But by the time she found a route down to her...one of Bolg's orcs had grabbed her and taken her else-where..whilst the Princess was unconscious.
Yavanna groaned, as she came awake. Hearing Legolas' voice. "Legolas!" she called out...somewhat weakly...as she was still bit dizzy and disoirainted.
But gasped as she felt and Orc drag her to an edge...making them visible to the Prince. "Looking for this fine...young beauty?" The Orc taunted. "Now who to kill first...you or her?" The Orc smirked
"Don't you dare touch him!" Yavanna tried to struggle out of his extra strong grip...but she still felt somewhat limp from the fall. She couldn't let Legolas get hurt...not the man she was falling in love with.
"Urgh...young love." The Orc growled, as he caught sight of how Yavanna looked at the Prince. With what little energy she had...Yavanna elbowed the Orc so hard...the Orc flew back...with telekinetic energy, laced with star light. And exploded behind her...the explosion however tossed her off the higher level. Since there was little space on the ledge. Her body falling towards The Elf Prince.
Thorin saw arrows flying past him, hitting each of the Orcs and Goblins that went to attack him. As he looked back slightly; he saw the Elf Prince; Legolas on one of the towers. He had no idea, why but he felt strangely grateful for his help. As only one Goblin-Orc mutant creature was left. Thorin swung his sword...trying to kill the creature himself. But he slipped on the thin ice...his own sword falling down before he could grab it. And the creature began to advance towards him...about to strike him down with it's axe.

As the two elves searched for Kili. Kili could hear two voices. Yavanna and Tauriel. As he was in another tower. "Yavanna..." he called out. "Tauriel.."
"Kili!" Yavanna yelled out in relief...listening for where his voice echoed from. The two she-elves run into the tower, where the voice came from. Once inside...there was a group of Orcs. Tauriel had both her daggers at the ready...with a graceful spin. She slashed two of the Orcs.
Yavanna on the other hand, was shining brightly. The light seemed to blind and disoriented Orcs for a few short moments. As she slashed at their throats;along with Tauriel's help..the small group of Orcs, were dead in the hall of the tower.

As they found themselves outside on one of the higher levels...Yavanna looked around for Kili. She could hear fighting noises above...but suddenly Bolg jumped out of them from nowhere. Yavanna managed to spin out of the way...with two daggers in hand. She slashed at Bolg with a hiss. Bolg swung his weapon at the young Princess. Pushing off of the ground. Yavanna leaped up into the air...flipping mid air...she landed on his shoulders. Trying to cut his throat.
With a growl...Bolg reached up and threw her into the wall. Yavanna groaned as she landed on her stomach. Tauriel quickly moved behind Bolg, trying to attack. But the large Orc swung around and threw her against the wall as well. Both of the she-elves were on the floor for a few seconds. As Tauriel stood up again...she ducked out of the way when Bolg swung his weapon at her...slashing at his side. Before Bolg kicked her down..Tauriel gasped as she fell down again.

As The Orc advanced towards Yavanna. Kili suddenly jumped from the highest point...Landing ontop of Bolg. Trying to kill him. Yavanna gasped "Kili." her eyes widened as she saw Bolg grab the Dwarf and screamed out "Saeril!" she yelled so loudly, her voice echoed...calling for the-elder she-elf as she saw Bolg was about to stab Kili. Just as the Orc was about to make the blow...something knocked him back.
Kili fell down onto the floor with a groan, as some wind was knocked out of him.
As Yavanna managed to stand up...she let out a loud yelp. Bolg had knocked her off of the cliffs with him. Her body tumbled down the rocky edge. Landing on one of the lower levels with a painful groan. The wind was knocked out of her. She had a few scratches across her face...as her body limply moved...she was laying on her back. But blacked out. Laying near the edge...her dark hair was ruffled by the wind.
Tauriel's eyes widened "Yavanna!" she yelled out.
The orc fell futher down. But had managed to catch onto the side...and began to climb up until he reached the level. And made his way towards the injured she-elf.
As far as I know, Vampires can compel any species...unless the other supernaturals have protection against it. As for Vampires compelling another Vampire..I am not sure if that's possible, unless the Vampire compelling is much much older and stronger, than the Vampire it's trying to use mind compulsion on.
I am not sure, if they'd have a natural ability to resist to it though. Not unless they somehow build up some kind of tolerance/resistance against that kind of magic...or have protection against it...as stated above. :)

But that's just my take and my knowledge on the subject of compulsion. It may vary from other sources, for other people; depending on what they've read, or seen ect.

Lady in Waiting, Amaranthea Ashwood

Location; Abhainn Ballroom
Interacting With; Prince Jaxton@Polaris North, Princess Elaisse@FernStone, Lady Julianna @HushedWhispers

When the young Princess waved her over, Amara smiled softly. Making her way towards the trio. "Good evening, to you all." She curtsied in front of her Mistress; noticing the new dress. "Is that new? That looks simply stunning on you, Lady Julia." Amara smiled with a warm smile. Having seen pretty much, most of Julia's closet before she moved. Amara had never remembered seeing that dress, among Julia's possessions. It must have been new. But some of the markings, remembering her of Abhainn fashion, not from Sliabh.

Amaranthea gently embraced Elaisse in a soft, warm hug. Like she always did when she and Jaxton were growing up. The young woman, than embraced Jaxton in the same warm hug. "You look so grown up. I still remember, when you were little." She smiled at the young royals. "I hope, people are treating you well here." she told her softly; although both of the comments seemed to aimed at both her and her brother.

"I see, your hair is still as curly as ever." Amaranthea said light-heartedly, towards Jaxton. With a slight teasing but warm smile. "How have you both been?" she asked the two young royals, with a warm smile. The young lady in waiting, had missed them both. Missed the time, they had spent together in the presence of Julia. Like they all did in Sliabh. Catching up, was long over-due.

Glancing around the room; she spotted that Queen Mira was already somewhat drunk. The woman still loved her liquor. That didn't change. As Always, King Maddox was late. It appeared, he always liked to arrive late...and in style.
As the Orcs arrived...everyone was trying to defend themselves. Young Bilbo got knocked out by one of the Orcs. The enemy left him like that; he was not their target. Thorin, Kili and Yavanna being their main targets. As Thorin fought with the enemy...he ended up on a very icy and fragile ground...it was very slippery and load of orcs and s few Goblins were making their way towards him.

Yavanna looked tense as Legolas caught onto one of the war bats watching him fly off to one of the towers. Hearing Saeril with Tauriel. The pair yelled back. "We'll find him." before Yavanna added "I promise!" The two young she-elves began to make their way towards the towers. A few Orcs attacked the pair of them...As Tauriel drew out her dagger...she slashed at two of their throats. With a kick..Yavanna sent one of the tumbling down from the bridge. When she was about to punch another one...that same mysterious telekinetic force blew the other 5 sideways; falling of the edge...a few went backwards. The wind knocked out of them.

I really need to learn, how to control that. Yavanna told herself. As they run...she called out "Kili!"

"Kili!" Tauriel also called out...as the pair of them searched for the young Dwarf.
Thorin saw a light coming from one of the towers...and his eyes then widened as he saw his eldest Nephew being dragged to the edge by Azog. "No...let him go." he said shaking his head. Watching the scene, his breath caught in his throat in horror...as he gasped seeing his eldest nephew being killed in front of them all. His jaw clenched...Azog then seemed to dissapear...along with Bolg and a few others. But Thorin would kill him...he would.

Bilbo flinched as he saw Fili falling down dead...he glanced away. Holding back tears...but was shocked to see one of his friends dead.

As Kili saw his brother's body fall down...in front of him. Kili swallowed...tears welling up in his eyes as he gasped. His big brother...his best-friend...the one that guided him, protected him, taught him things. Was dead. Gone. Searil's shriek made him cover his ears...flinching at the sound. It sounded like a Banshee wail, but worse. He then clenched his jaw and run out of his hiding place and up some stairs. Wanting to avenge his brother's death. And he would kill..he swore to himself, he would.

The shriek made Tauriel and Yavanna flinch. Both looked towards Ravenhill. And in that instant, Yavanna run faster; someone was in danger..or hurt. Tauriel sped up, running after Yavanna whom was at the front...running faster than Tauriel ever seen her run before.

Alfrid whom was disguised as a woman, had found some money in the great-hall and was trying to escape with it. When he saw a large creature crawling over the wall...he screamed like a girl...falling down...the gold falling from his clothing.

Bilbo, whom had somewhat talked to Gandalf about going to Ravenhill. Was invisible and almost there. He suddenly appeared behind Thorin; breathless. "Thorin..You have to leave...all of you. Azog has another army attacking from the North...you'll be completely surrounded...there'll be no way out." he gasped out.
Listening to Bilbo, Thorin looked shocked before he realized something "No...he wants to draw us in. This is a trap!" he looked at Dwalin "Find Fili and Kili, call them back." he said. Thorin could see Saeril flying above.

As they went their separate ways, Kili run off in another direction. As Fili searched on his own, footsteps were heard from different directions, cutting the elder Dwarf off. Kili found himself, standing near the edge of an entrance...on the lower level...carefully peaking his head out and around corners.

Yavanna closed her eyes in relief, when Legolas seemed to intercept his father's sword...which was still pointed towards them...mainly Tauriel it seemed. Thranduil looked at his son, his sword being sheated back into it's place.
"Let's go." Tauriel said softly; glad that Legolas came in time. The trio began to make their way towards Ravenhill.
As Thorin's little group rode towards Ravenhill...they slashed many orcs once they got there. Thorin jumped off of his beast...attacking the orcs, with the help of everyone there. But once the Orcs were dead...it was dead silent. Thorin looked around. "Azog...where is he? Where did he go?!" Thorin asked; dumbfounded and almost angry...that the Orc seemed to have run away. "Fili, Kili, Saeril...scout the lower and upper levels...if you see anything...report back." he told the trio.

As Kili leapt off of Saeril...his sword stuck in the one Orc...both of them landed on the floor. But Kili unharmed...pulling out his sword..he glanced around. No sign of Azog anywhere, he couldn't have left? Could he? "It's Empty...I think Azog has fled." Kili breathed out.
"I don't think so." Thorin said shaking his head "Keep low and out of sight...do not engage." he added to his instructions. But a few odd sounds were heard...Goblins were arriving at Ravenhill. Hundreds of them, by the looks of it. Thorin kept his stance near Dwalin...as the pair began to fight of the Goblins.

Yavanna got off the horse with Legolas' help...putting her dagger back into it's sheath. Hearing whom was at Ravenhill, she stiffened besides the Prince in worry. Tauriel saw the worry across Yavanna's face, when she heard whom was at Ravenhill.

Meanwhile,
King Thranduil walked among the streets of Dale. Seeing the dead bodies of his elvish warriors. "Recall your company." The King instructed one of his surviving men...and an elvish horn sounded. When he heard Gandalf, he rolled his eyes. The Wizard was trying to send his forces to Ravenhill. "By all means, warm then. Enough Elvish blood has spilled for this acousted Dwarf business!" The King spoke walking off.
Hearing that Bilbo spoke up. "I'll go." he said, looking at the Grey Wizard. As Thranduil walked away, he slashed an orc that jumped at the side from him...but found his way being blocked by Tauriel and Yavanna; whom over-heard Thranduil's plans to abandon the fight.
"You will not turn away...Not this time!" Tauriel spoke.
"Get out of my way!" Thranduil spoke, with a slight glare in his eyes. His glare was more aimed at Tauriel than anyone else.
"The Dwarves will be slaughtered." Both of the she-elves spoke together.
"Yes, they will die. Today...tomorrow...one year hence...a hundred years from now. They are mortal. What does it matter?" Thranduil spoke. Those words seemed to anger Tauriel, whom held similar beliefs to Yavanna. The red-haired elf drew her arrow, aiming it at the Elvenking. "How can you be so heartless?" Tauriel asked Thranduil. But Thranduil swung his sword...breaking Tauriel's bow in hand...the arrow falling onto the floor with it's bow.
Yavanna looked a shocked seeing the King disarm Tauriel like that...the tip of his sword...cut a little bit of her hair...since she had stood so close to Tauriel. But the King meant no harm to the young Princess.
"You really believe, our lives are more important than theirs? Just because we are Immortal?" Yavanna asked, looking at the Elvenking. "Their lives matter...they might be Mortal. But it matters! They matter! They are part of this world...just like us!"
Yavanna's words, made the Elvenking Stop. She sounded like his wife...it was, what she would have no doubt, said to him. If she were still alive. Neither Tauriel, nor Yavanna could make out Expression on his face. But he looked somewhat angry...towards Tauriel...towards Yavanna...his expression, was more shocked...pained...speechless.
