Yavanna seemed to curl up into his chest. Breathing in his scent and feeling comfort of being in his arms. She didn't let him go...there was silence..only the last few battle sounds from a-far. She softly squeezed him; it was a loving gesture. "Thank you." she said softly. She had no idea, what she was thanking him for. Maybe for saving her life again...or just simply, being in her life. But she had no idea, what she would do without him. Moving her head softly; she looked at him with soft green eyes; just making sure that he was not hurt in any way. Her eyes still filled with the tenderness, love and affection she felt for him.
As Kili sat near his brother's body...he looked broken. His best-friend was truly gone. "Come on Fili...please come back." Kili whimpered.
Meanwhile,
Bilbo found Thorin laying down on near a rock. Running to him, the Hobbit leaned by the Dwarf. "Bilbo." Thorin breathed out. "Shh...lay still...you're gonna be okay." Bilbo whispered, trying to keep Thorin calm..,but winced at the wound.
"I am glad you're here." Thorin told the Hobbit. "I wish to part from you with Friendship."
Bilbo shook his head "You're not going anywhere..you're going to live."
"I take back what I said..You did what a true friend would do. Forgive me." Thorin choked out. "Te....tell Yavanna and Saeril...I am...sorry. Tell the...tell the young girl...to be happy. She...has...a good man.." Thorin gasped out. "I am so sorry...I was too blind to see it all...That I led you all to such Peril." Thorin coughed...struggling to breathe.
Bilbo kept by his side. "You can tell them, yourself." Bilbo wasn't going to give up on Thorin. "I am glad to have shared in your Perils...each and every one of them." he said, holding onto his hand, to give him some comfort. "It's far more than any Baggins deserves."
"Farewell Master Burglar, go back to your books, and your armchair. Plant your trees...watch them grow." Thorin choked out. "If more people valued love over Gold...this world would be a merrier place." He let out a choked gasp. "Tell the others...I send...my...love." his breathing was getting more shallow.
"No...No...Thorin no." Bilbo gasped out, knowing he was loosing him. "No...don't you dare, Thorin." he could hear Thorin's breath slow down...until no more sound came from the Dwarf.
Leaning over by his head.Bilbo patted his chest as if to help him "Stay with me...the Eagles...the Eagles are coming...Thorin.." But it was too late, Thorin Okaenshield was gone. Bilbo covered his mouth, letting out a choke sob...as he broke into tears.
